Fint rum , rent. Dock beställde vi tyst rum o fick rum m högt ljud från gatan! Behövde ha fönstret öppet då det var väldigt varmt i rummet, fel på ventilationen? Härlig inredning i hotellet o fin konst! God mat i restaurangen! Krånglig incheckning. Bra med säker parkering.

Uns hat die Lage des Hotels gut gefallen. Wir hatten eine Gallerie-Suite zum Innenhof. Zuerst freuten wir uns darüber, wir dachten es sei dadurch ruhig. Doch weit gefehlt, zum Innenhof ist hier das Lokal. Es wird bis weit nach Mitternacht dort gegessen, gefreiert, getrunken. An beiden Tagen, die wir dort waren, konnten wir leider nicht schlafen. Eine Bemerkung hierzu an der Rezeption wurde mit einem, "das ist aber schade", abgetan. Wichtiger war erst die City-Tax noch abzukassieren.Das schmälerte doch sehr, den sonst positiven Eindruck! Als Tipp: Es ein sehr interessantes und gut gelegenes Hotel. Zum Erkunden von Kassel gut geeignet. Man darf nur nicht geräuschempfindlich sein.

Hotel mit toller Architektur und ansprechendem Einrichtungsstil. Der Empfang war sehr angenehm. Parkplätze stehen nach Check-In kostenpflichtig hinter einer Schranke parat. Die Zimmer sind „auf alt“ eingerichtet und verfügen nicht über Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück war nicht Trubels und die Zutaten waren allesamt sehr hochwertig.

Ein schönes Hotel in einem alten Bauwerk integriert, mit einer einzigartigen Einrichtung zum Wohlfühlen und das mitten in Kassel. Der Parkraum ist begrenzt und das Frühstück könnte optimiert werden.

Der Renthof ist wirklich sehr schön und hat eine tolle Atmosphäre. Man kann super direkt vor dem Hotel parken, in Ruhe einchecken und das Gepäck ausladen. Möchte man das Parkhaus nutzen, fallen allerdings 15 Euro Tagesgebühr an. Wenn man nur über Nacht bleibt, kann man fußläufig (5 Minuten) zwischen 20 und 9 Uhr kostenlos parken. Das absolute Highlight ist aber das Frühstücksbuffet. Überragend lecker alles mit regionalen und Bio Produkten. SEHR zu empfehlen und jeden Cent wert.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem sehr guten Restaurant und Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sauber. Einzig leicht negativ anzumerken war, dass wir vorab einen Parkplatz reserviert hatten, dies jedoch nicht garantiert freigehalten werden konnte.

My favourite hotel in Kassel. The room was clean with a nice bathroom. The duvet was the standard single on a double bed. Not the most comfortable for me. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and evening meals.

Efter masser af problemer med parkering fik vi et virkelig pænt værelse, som vi havde bestilt. Problemet var blot at der ingen luft var, vinduerne kunne ikke åbnes, så der var vel 30 grader i rummet. der var nogle små almindelige blæser anbragt, men de kunne ikke skabe luft i det store fine rum. Så vi vil aldrig mere bo i disse værelser. Vi har ellers besøgt hotellet flere gange, og været super tilfredse med værelserne tidligere.

Efter masser af problemer med parkering fik vi et virkelig pænt værelse, som vi havde bestilt. Problemet var blot at der ingen luft var, vinduerne kunne ikke åbnes, så der var vel 30 grader i rummet. der var nogle små almindelige blæser anbragt, men de kunne ikke skabe luft i det store fine rum. This was a very unique experience. The building was a former monastery from the 1100s. We stayed on one of the upper floors which had low-clearance, original beams. I’m 6’4” and had to duck a lot. Maybe that wouldn’t be too fun for an extended stay. It was nice to have a cathedral ceiling. I think this was only in a few rooms. Bed was typical German stiff and slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet was one of the best of our trips so far. The Christmas market was only a 10 minute walk away.

A mid evil Abby converted to a hotel. Our three room suite was quite large and beautifully furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful. Located next to a river and a huge park, there’s both serenity and activity easily available. I think the hotel is in a ideal location when visiting Kassel.

Simpelt værelse( på trods af superior room) under skråloft uden minibar, med elendige hovedpuder der var tunge, som beton! Fint badeværelse. Spartansk morgenmadsbuffet, uden andet frugt end tern af æble og pære. Smuk idyllisk bygning og hyggelige opholdsrum.

A lovely and historic property attached to an old church. Beautiful courtyard, intimate bar, and a nice dining room. Excellent staff service at front desk and in restaurant. My only complaint is the size of the room I was given. Tiny and with great sun exposure, was too worn. Luckily, the hotel provided a small fan but it was noisy. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel.

The place itself is ok - nothing fancy, but actually quite charming. However, if they are having an event during your stay, and you want to get some sleep, you probably need to find another hotel. We had 1 night at Renthof, as a stop during our travel back home, after a 10 hours drive, and before an 8 hours drive. When we arrived, we realized that the hotel was hosting a wedding on that day. The room we got was small, but cozy, however, sleep was impossible, due to the sound coming from the party downstairs. Not only the sound was incredibly loud, but the whole room was rattling from the bass' vibration. We were given a room further away from the core of the party, but did not help much. That meant a sleepless night, and a bad experience. If avoiding to rent rooms right above the event place is not a possibility, it would be nice (and considerate) to at least send out a warning in good time, so the guest can choose whether to endure the sleepless night, or to find somewhere else to get some rest. As a side note, I suggest that the 'sound-isolated rooms' statement from the description here in the page should be modified.

The hotel is luxurious, comfortable and has some quirky design features. The bar area was comfortable and our room was very comfortable with a soft bed and powerful shower. Only downside was that we had a heavy snowfall overnight but the hotel (strangely) didn’t have a brush they could lend us to sweep the snow off the roof of our car. It would have been good if they were helpful.

Wir waren vom 08.08. bis 10.08. im Hotel, um unseren Hochzeitstag zu feiern. Leider gab es ein Missgeschick mit einem falschen Zimmerschlüssel, was für uns etwas unangenehm war. Die Rückmeldung dazu kam leider erst nach unserem Aufenthalt, wir hoffen aber, dass so etwas künftig nicht mehr vorkommt.

Wir waren vom 08.08. bis 10.08. im Hotel, um unseren Hochzeitstag zu feiern. Leider gab es ein Missgeschick mit einem falschen Zimmerschlüssel, was für uns etwas unangenehm war. Die Rückmeldung dazu kam leider erst nach unserem Aufenthalt, wir hoffen aber, dass so etwas künftig nicht mehr vorkommt.

Der Renthof "atmet Geschichte". Die Lage Nähe Stadtzentrum und Fulda ist ideal. Das Gebäude und die Zimmer sind liebevoll restauriert und stilsicher eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend, das Essen im Restaurant ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen wieder.

Stylish and cozy hotel. I was fortunate to have my room upgraded, due to a private event being held that day. The receptionist that checked me in was very sweet and helpful. Will definitely stay here again if I come by Kassel in the future!

Wunderschönes Hotel mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Perfekt für Ausflüge in die Innenstadt und zu den Ausstellungen, da zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Sicherlich ein Traum im Sommer, da direkt am Fluss gelegen. Wir kommen bei schönerem Wetter wieder!

A mid evil Abby converted to a hotel. Our three room suite was quite large and beautifully furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful. Located next to a river and a huge park, there’s both serenity and activity easily available. I think the hotel is in a ideal location when visiting Kassel.

Hotel is amazing, by far our favorite place to stay on our week long trip to Germany. Clean rooms with character. Hotel food was great and Bar was comfortable with good drinks.

Supermysigt hotell älskade byggnaden och att man har bevarat det så fint. Rummen är lite kala, hade uppskattat ett kylskåp med lite dryck eller iallafall en flaska vatten. Även en naturlig plats att ställa skor och även ett skohorn mm Maten och frukosten var väl ingen höjdare, väldigt mycket bränt allt från bacon stekt till kolbitar till croissanter som gått för länge i ugnen. Som sagt ett riktigt fin byggnad, sköna sängar men det fattas en del

My favourite hotel in Kassel. The room was clean with a nice bathroom. The duvet was the standard single on a double bed. Not the most comfortable for me. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and evening meals.

Cody place really tidy and well kept. Super dig friendly. Two dog an md they where allowed every where. They got their own beds, towels,treats ! Miss charging only two places.:-(
