Golden Hotel Barcelona

Hôtel neuf et bien situé pour effectuer pas mal d activité dans Barcelone si on aime marcher Station de métro à 10 min à pied 20-25 de marche de la plage Petit déjeuner et dîner très bon mais par contre le personnel du restaurant n est pas très compétent. Belle piscine et jaccuzzi sur le toit mais il faudrait prévoir plus de transat. Chambre propre et pratique, matériel sanitaire de la douche de notre chambre à revoir

Promenadavstånd (ca 20 min vardera) till både strand och stadskärnan. Nära tunnelbana och galleria. Enda pyttelilla minuset var att poolområdet stängde redan kl 18.00 (troligtvis pga lågsäsong) vilket är förståeligt. Finns inte direkt något att klaga på från vår sida, muchos gracias+++++

Parfait : piscine et jacuzzi sur le toit !

I would’ve loved to give them more stars, but we had a very frustrating experience. Everything else was really nice, and the general cleaning of the room was satisfying. But we went to the rooftop pool, where some cloth/paper or something was floating in the buttom of the pool. Pretty creapy to constantly touch with your feets (the pool is not so deep or huge), so I asked if we could get it removed - yes - the following day. I even asked if they had a net, then I would remove it myself, but I couldn’t get anything to do it with. So an annoying experience, that could’ve been so easily fixed.

Fijn hotel met ruime kamers! Zwembad was ook fijn, water wel wat koud. Locatie is net buiten het centrum, maar een half uurtje lopen is echt prima.

Having the rooftop and pool is a wonderful feature and we appreciated the welcome drink too. Fantastic breakfast.

It's well located, the staff super friendly, comfy bed and very spacious room. I was disappointed that the pool and bar at the rooftop was closed.

Stayed for 2 nights. Able to check in slightly earlier which made life easier for us after a very early flight from the UK. Very comfortable double room, just a shame that it was 2 single beds pushed together and not a king size bed. Roof terrace was quite messy when we went up there around 2pm and the rooftop bar was closed so no one to ask for towels etc. Well located for metro, Westfield and local coffee shops.

Rooftop amenities were very enjoyable

We booked a comfort room and were initially very pleased with its spaciousness and being on the top floor. However, when we returned from dinner, it was clear the A/C was not working properly; it was extremely hot and would not cool down. We spoke to the desk; they confirmed an issue and claimed they didn't have a single other comfort room available that night. They switched us to a much smaller and frankly very cramped standard room on a lower floor looking into an apartment block where at least the A/C worked. This was hugely disappointing. The next morning, they said they still didn't have any comfort rooms available but would refund us the price difference between the two room types. I asked for something additional like breakfast the next, final morning, and the manager (I think her name was Marlena) graciously agreed to that and was definitely apologetic. With this exception, our stay was nice. I was surprised by the location of the hotel in a quiet, more modern residential/commercial/artsy district a bit north of central Barcelona. But I got used to it and liked the 20-minute walk to the beach. My husband thought it was unsafe (I think he equates graffiti with unsafe), but by that measure all of Barcelona is unsafe. I especially loved the rooftop terrace, bar, pool, and jacuzzi with amazing 360-degree views in all directions (though didn't like the 2-euro towel fee, which seemed unnecessary). Breakfast was great. I admire the hotel's sustainability initiatives.

Excellent hotel, very clean and tidy. Rooms were lovely with great facilities. Bed was very comfy. I would highly recommend this hotel and when I go back to Barcelona in a few years I’ll definitely go back.

There were hardly any towels One day the room was not cleaned

Horrible cleanness services room. Just Emmanuella gave us good service at reception. They don’t change towels and when we arrive, many haïr have been on the towels. No add Small soap when it finish. We need to go ask it at the reception anitymes. You need to pay 2€ per towel for the pool.

Fabulous hotel and will definitely recommend to friends and family. The rooftop pool is an added bonus to chill out before catching the flight back home. It certainly is a walking distance to most tourist spots if you have stronger legs. Breakfast is amazing. Bed is so comfortable you just want to stay in bed all day.

Hotellet i seg seg selv er fint nok og hyggelig personale. Renhold derimot var ikke tilfredsstillende da flekker på gulvet var der i flere dager og skitt var synlig i kanter på badet da vi sjekket inn. En dag fikk vi ikke håndklær, da vi ringte til resepsjonen angående det sa de at de ikke har håndklær? Bassenget er relativt lite og så skittent ut og få solsenger tilgjengelig. De har ikke roomservice. Vi hadde twin rom, sengene er relativt små og det samme med rommet.

The hotel is overrated, I don’t think it deserve to be a 4stars hotel, no amenities in the toilet until been asked , the size of the rooms it’s very small & they said all of the rooms are the same , the smell in the toilet like sanitary odor, the distance till the nearest metro needs 10 minutes walk it’s not pleasant especially in the summer time in the month of August in Barcelona. The staff are very friendly & helpful

Nice reception and pool area . The outside area around the hotel is a little rundown but appears to be undergoing some renovations so maybe in time it will improve . Our room was clean although a little cramped with limited storage for the 3 of us and the sofa bed exterior was grubby . Linen etc immaculate though

Modern hotel. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Much quieter than hotels in central shopping areas. Will stay there again.

Check in horrible. J’ai attendu 40 min avant d’être pris en charge. La personne qui m’a servi manque d’expérience, ne demande pas si je vais bien si j’ai fais bon voyage et ensuite elle me demande les passeports de tout le monde (choses qu’elle aurait put me dire dès le départs puisqu’elle m’a fait recap de ce que j’avais booké et pour combien de personnes) donc je lui dis que je reviens puisque les autres passeports sont avec ma femme dans la voiture. Et ensuite elle me demande de signer et comme une étincelle elle demande aussi la signature de ma femme sachant que je viens de faire l’aller retour pour les passeports, je pense que c’est fais exprès puisque je n’ai pas apprécié le faite qu’elle ne me dise pas qu’elle aura besoin des passeports donc j’ai dû retourner à la voiture récupéré ma fille de 4 ans qui dormait et ma femme pour qu’elle puisse signé. Et encore une fois je dois lui rappeler pour le parking puisque jamais 2 sans 3. Bref revoir la formation des hôtesses d’accueil puisqu’il est horrible

Room & facilities were clean and modern. My only complaint was check in/check out with front desk. I arrived early from the airport and was told no rooms available which was fine. I returned at 3:45 to a new host who told me bluntly check in is at 4. So after I had to sarcastically ask if they can ask management he obliged. Check out is at a nice time (12p) but with a later flight I called reception if late check out was an option. I got a flat ‘no, we’re fully booked’. I asked what if even 30 minutes or if I pay, and was still told no, you have to be out by 12. All this is by their rules for check in/out obviously but I’ve never seen a hotel so unwilling to make exceptions and/or charge for the convenience. As nice as rooms were, I’m not sure I’d stay again due to this alone.

Have stayed at ZT 4 times now Will keep returning in future. Modern rooms, great amenities such as rooftop pool / bar...and friendly welcoming service by hotel staff...Siri up at the rooftop bar, front desk staff including Franco, Emmanuela, Mina. Hotel is a little off the beaten path from touristy Barcelona, however only a 20 minute walking away, and also near beaches and shopping centre.

Staff was not the most friendly and argued with several people during our stay. I do not want to overhear or see this while on vacation. I do not recommend this place.

The staff were really nice, we arrived at the hotel early and the check in was not until 4pm, so the staff were very accommodating and gave us a room due to our sleepless night during traveling. also another staff member was very helpful and gave us all the tips for where to go and other stuff that was happening during that week, didn't get his name but he was really great helper and polite. The room was very clean and the AC was amazing, not comparable to other hotels we went to in the area.

Forgot some clothes in our room and have called hotel 5 times and no one seems to be able to help or locate any of our items from lost and found. No care to help bad service.

The customer service was truly disappointing. We had a difficult situation while traveling in a foreign country — we accidentally left our wallet with our passports in a hotel two hours away from Barcelona. We only realized it once we arrived at the ZT hotel. One woman at the front desk was kind and tried to help by contacting the previous hotel. However, another employee questioned her (in Spanish), asking why she was helping us since it “wasn’t her problem.” It was extremely unprofessional. They then asked if we had money to pay for our stay — completely ignoring the fact that we were just trying to check in, exhausted, with our 7-year-old daughter. I asked if we could check in using our passport cards (which are valid U.S. ID), but they refused. In the end, we had to drive all the way back to the previous hotel to retrieve our passports and return just to check in. The customer service was unhelpful, insensitive, and honestly, unacceptable.

I had a lovely stay. Its just slightly further from the city but I had a metro pass so was super easy to navigate. Two metro stops close by. But the sights are super walkable also - I just preferred the metro after a long day. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were super nice.

Chambre sympa, personnel au top. Le quartier est hyper calme, station de metro Glories à 5 min au pied de la tour du même nom.

Este ha sido un viaje de visita a mi hermano que vivía muy cerca del hotel así que era muy buena la ubicación. El barrio Glorias me pareció súper lindo, muy tranquilo, de fácil acceso a la playa por la rambla Poblenou y a la boca del metro Glorias. La terraza con la albrca, muy buena. La habitación muy buena también. El precio se me hizo bien (no económico), comparando con otros hoteles en BCN.

Muy pequeña la habitación y el hotel no es cerca de nada turístico, como lo anunciaba la publicidad. No hay metro cercano.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Frühstück, das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Leider ist die Gegend etwas abseits und in dem Bereich befinden sich derzeit viele Baustellen da dort viel abgerissen und neu gebaut wird. Gefährlich habe ich die Gegend nicht empfunden , ca 8 Minuten zur U Bahn und 20 Minuten zum Strand. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist sehr schön und man bekommt einen Gutschein für 1 Stunde im Nachbarhotel was auch definitiv lohnt. Alles in allem kann man dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen

Fint hotell med veldig god service. God variert frokost. Et stykke fra sentrum, men nærme annet bysentrum som er fint. Gåavstand til stranden. Nærme kollektiv

Second stay at the hotel. Rooftop has great pool / bar / relaxation area. Great hotel for beach destination. Quick 10 minute walk to beach. A 30 minute walk from La Ramblas area, but that means area is much quieter and less busy.

The staff at both the reception and the restaurant were friendly. However, the cleaning staff did not respect the "do not disturb" sign and entered the room multiple times while I was away. The restaurant offers some vegan-friendly options, but I’d love to see a greater variety available.

Nel complesso questo hotel mi é piaciuto molto: stanze confortevoli e pulite, spazi grandi, nel pieno di poblenou e con una colazione abbastanza variata. Il personale anche é abbastanza gentile ed attento se non fosse per le stanze. Non ho mai avuto il mini bar riempito sebbene ci fosse il listino prezzi, l’acqua me la hanno data solo il primo giorno e il rifornimento dei the é stato omesso per due volte. Inoltre la pulizia dei teli non era un granché nonostante avessi seguito le istruzioni. Infine la colazione ha pochissime opzioni senza glutine: no cereali o dolce/salato. Ad ogni modo se non fosse per queste piccolezze (sicuramente risolvibili) sarebbe un hotel di gran livello sopratutto visto il prezzo così elevato.

Menú excelente. Personal maravilloso. Limpieza de 10. Decoración, ubicación. Confort. Elegancia... No podria terminar de hablar cosas buenas.

L'hôtel en soi est excellent: propreté, amabilité du personnel, service. Sa situation excentrée dans un quartier de bureaux oblige à prendre un taxi pour se rendre au centre de Barcelone ou aux divers centres d'intérêt. Le point négatif: le petit-déjeuner, un buffet basique et industriel; heureusement, il y a assez de petits bars à proximité où prendre un petit-déjeuner bien plus appétissant.
