Lovely hotel in great condition(recent refresh?) and in a good location for walking to stuff, but our bathroom was very squishy. I’m also not sure why they say parking will be $20/night when it was from full, there’s no real way to monitor who’s parking where and it’s not secure, only to then waive the fee on checkout. Perhaps just make it free parking. Overall a great hotel and would stay again.

Very clean and modern with a luxurious feeling. Well priced. Efficient service. Great car park. Very quiet room with no street noise. A very, very comfortable bed. A special touch having a coffee pod machine and complimentary pods available in the room. Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended.

Friendly and helpful staff. Bed sheets were a bit dusty. Sink, cooktop and rangehood had been removed from room. One lift was always out of order. (Different lift every day). Overall good value and quiet.

Found hair on bed, it was not ours as the hair strang was long. Bathroom had mold on tiles. Hoskeeping knocked at the door and asked us to handover the rubbish and soiled linen to her while she waited at the door. Breakfast everyday was identical and looked like they store it in the fridge and give it out in the morning. And also the food served was cold as in scrambled egg was served cold, sausages were cold etc. It was actually a horrible experience.

The toilet and shower are in a cupboard and makes it very difficult to use the toilet and the shower leaks out onto the carpet. The view was good and could have been even better if the had bothered cleaning the windows. We spent 3 nights there and the room was Not vacuumed once. This room was definitely not up to the normal standard you would expect from Novatel

Very clean and bright first impression...to be able to check in late was a bonus... The check in was very pleasant and took no time at all... My partner & I enjoyed our stay that much we booked another night...we requested a late check out thinking only one hour extra but was given 2 hours extra... Definitely we will stay at the Novotel Preston again

Checkin and admin staff are great no issue there Housekeeping didn’t replace towels or coffee sugar Breakfast was included but I get picked up for work at 7 and breakfast only starts at 7. Sure there are others that stay here that head to work early also - no option for food at that time - every other hotel I stay at for work has breakfast from 6.30am

The first room I was given had a noisy malfunctioning split system airconditioner. I was then given a room on the opposite side of the corridor and the traffic noise was terrible. I had very little sleep for the night.

Really don't like those split beds especially when they don't have any type of joiner. Really defeats the purpose of getting a king bed and it feels like your just sleeping in a single bed.

Booked for 2 nights. 29th Jan, and 30th Jan - leaving on the 31st Jan. Arrived at 3am on the 30th (3 hours past midnight on the day of the first night I had booked being the 29th. Told by rude staff lady working that the system had no rooms available. Which I found hard to believe seeing as there are over 350 rooms and it was a Monday. Arrived back as requested on 3pm on the 30th to find out I have been blacklisted. Thanks for the fantastic stay

We were in Melbourne to celebrate my bf’s birthday. We really did enjoy our stays at Novotel Melbourne Preston. On the first night we were checking in late due to the delay of our flight but everything was smooth and quick. Just only it’s not in the city, we had to take uber for our convenience (but that really not the hotel’s fault tho). However, next time we will try Novotel that located in CBD. The size and facilities of the deluxe room for 2 people is superb. THANKS NOVOTEL!

Some breakfast was cool and needed to be replace, tray almost empty. plates were cold and caused food to go cold very quickly. Next day food was hot but again wend cold quicly due to cold plates!!!!

Good a commodity on and relatively quiet, easily accessible. Breakfast is over-priced and have to pay separately for a barista coffee. Should at least have some bottled water in the fridge in the room as well.
