The staff brings up the ratings for this hotel! They were very accommodating! The breakfast was good and tasty. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Room balcony was nice but construction going on across from the hotel didn’t make it as enjoyable. No fault of the hotel, hopefully construction will be done soon. Nice size room could use a full length mirror. Made use of the spa and had a really nice massage.

We visited Ubud over 2 days and had a trip to discover waterfalls, rice terraces and temples around. The hotel is well placed, calm and easy to reach. The staff was great, they helped us to organise our visits. The swimming pool is large and enjoyable.

A quiet oasis of a hotel a short walk from the main road in Ubud (though may be a little far for some). The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful in planning a day trip for me, and always remembered my name. The room was spacious and very clean, with a lovely view of the rainforest from the balcony. Good airconditioning and nice bathroom. I loved relaxing by the pool in the afternoons after exploring in the morning. There was breakfast included but unfortunately the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner. Hangout restaurant nearby had some of the best food that I had during my time in Bali.

Highly recommend this hotel to be a short walk from the North side if Ubud town, a pretty / clean pool, great view out the balcony or terrace, kind helpful staff, and Air conditioner and wifi that work well. My room had a mini-fridge and a desk to work as well. Perfect for longer stays.

La struttura è molto carina, la piscina molto bella, la colazione è discreta. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite, purtroppo si sente un forte odore di umiditò, ma tenendo acceso il condizionatore la situazione migliora leggermente. Di fronte alle camere al momento del mio soggiorno c'era un cantiere e al mattino molto presto gli operai iniziavano a lavorare. La struttura offre anche il servizio di noleggio scooter. Il Wifi funziona male. The structure is very nice, the pool very nice, the breakfast is decent. The rooms are spacious, clean, unfortunately you can smell a strong humidity, but by keeping the air conditioner on the situation improves slightly. In front of the rooms at the time of my stay there was a construction site and very early in the morning the workers started working. The property also offers scooter rental service. Wifi works poorly.

The staff at this hotel are unbelievable!! The swimming pool area is beautiful and they do a good breakfast but it’s undoubdetdly the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff that make it stand-out. It very handily located to walk into town on a quiet street by a small forest area. The rooms is a little dated but very clean and the price is superb. Well worth the money.

We had a great time staying here! The staff learned our names and asked us how we were doing and were always very helpful. There are several breakfast options and they were all good. We had a room with a balcony and the view was amazing! It is generally very quiet there-but it is a little further from the buzz of the city. It was easy to rent a motorbike and book the shuttle to and from the airport. The pool was very nice. We will stay here again if ever in Ubud in the future.

Visit Ubud for 4 nights planned was 5 due to flight cancellation we miss one night, Hotels.com didn’t reply then try to adjust the dates. The Swahita reply soonest on the mail so the have the reservations then we arrived. The service and assist for transport and over request. The only thing we missing was isn’t possible to get food on evening.

The staff is the highlight. Very friendly and helpful, so the stars are mostly for them. The facilities could definitely use a revamp. The hot water from the shower was inconsistent, it would sometimes become piping hot for a few seconds. We also had the problem of not having hot water after a while on the first night, which was fixed but still was a hassle because it went cold when our kid was showering. Also, the towels and bed sheets could be cleaner. The breakfast was pretty good though the nasi mie could be less salty. 員工非常優，友善又很有熱忱，有一位還曾經在台中實習過。設施有點年紀，雖然大致上維護的還不錯，遇到最大的問題是熱水會忽冷忽熱，毛巾也不是說非常乾淨，算是小缺點。早餐都可以吃飽，但炒麵略鹹，可能需要備註調味下手輕一點。整體算是表現中規中舉的小型飯店。

I gave Swahita an excellent rating because of the wonderful staff like Agus Aria and Putu. Sadly the area next to the hotel is being redeveloped so it has lost the verdant jungle backdrop it used to have, there was some noise due to the construction . However …I ignore this … because…The lovely staff who displayed exceptional service standards, cleaning was very professional and how they approach the guest room… I witnessed a very high standard shown by the way Putu did his job. The walk in from Ubud city Centre is not as pleasant due to lack of walking paths but I chose to be away from the noise so I was happy to walk further. Hope the owner will plant new trees and bamboos to cover the development site next door. Wish to visit Swahita again and stay longer. Hope the standards will be kept. Kudos for hiring the right people and training them well.

I had a wonderful stay. The room is very comfortable with a powerful hot shower and plenty of space to spread out. I felt safe staying here travelling as a woman on my own. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I hope to return one day soon!

Very good price-to value ratio, great location (walking distance to Ubud, but still quiet and jungle views). Great a-la-carte breakfast. Amanzing and very friendly staff. Only minor point of feedback is that the executive room on the third floor can be quite noisy(especially when you have very loud people in the room next to you). When we asked the staff to change rooms, it was possible and the other room on the first floor was very soundproof. The rooms on the third floor are a bit more noisy due to the traditional ceiling.

Wonderful team of friendly staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Cooked to order breakfast from a range of options all delicious. Room was simple but comfortable with a spacious balcony overlooking dense jungle. Great value and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Os funcionários são muito simpáticos! Meu quarto era espaçoso, cama e chuveiro bons! A varanda tinha uma vista incrível! Era como se tivesse uma floresta particular! I gave Swahita an excellent rating because of the wonderful staff like Agus Aria and Putu. Sadly the area next to the hotel is being redeveloped so it has lost the verdant jungle backdrop it used to have, there was some noise due to the construction . However …I ignore this … because…The lovely staff who displayed exceptional service standards, cleaning was very professional and how they approach the guest room… I witnessed a very high standard shown by the way Putu did his job. The walk in from Ubud city Centre is not as pleasant due to lack of walking paths but I chose to be away from the noise so I was happy to walk further. Hope the owner will plant new trees and bamboos to cover the development site next door. Wish to visit Swahita again and stay longer. Hope the standards will be kept. Kudos for hiring the right people and training them well.

I had a wonderful stay at Swahita. The staff went over and above to make my stay enjoyable. After touring all day, it was like coming home every evening! Welcomed back every time. We had a great time staying here! The staff learned our names and asked us how we were doing and were always very helpful. There are several breakfast options and they were all good. We had a room with a balcony and the view was amazing! It is generally very quiet there-but it is a little further from the buzz of the city. It was easy to rent a motorbike and book the shuttle to and from the airport. The pool was very nice. We will stay here again if ever in Ubud in the future.

We had a very enjoyable 2 nights here. We enjoyed the pool and seemed to be the only guests using it. The property is quiet (a building site is being worked on next door but it is not too noisy). I recommend this hotel as it is an easy 10 minute walk to the main part of Ubud.

The staff brings up the ratings for this hotel! They were very accommodating! The breakfast was good and tasty. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Room balcony was nice but construction going on across from the hotel didn’t make it as enjoyable. No fault of the hotel, hopefully construction will be done soon. Nice size room could use a full length mirror. Made use of the spa and had a really nice massage.

It’s a great place. I loved the attention from all the staff specially from the manager. He was super nice, attentive and very professional. The down side of it, it is that they don’t give you wash towels neither hand towels. The breakfast is nice but very limited. Only 5 choices, same choices every single day. There are NOT vegetarian options. Only fruit smoothie, just one kind and maybe waffles. On the other hand, the alley that leads to the hotel is very dark at night. There are lots of pot holes and uneven ground that could easily lead to an accident.

The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful in planning a day trip for me, and always remembered my name. I loved relaxing by the pool in the afternoons after exploring in the morning. There was breakfast included but unfortunately the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner. Hangout restaurant nearby had some of the best food that I had during my time in Bali.

This is a family run hotel and the staff could not have been more friendly. They were always on hand to offer help and could not have done more to make our stay perfect. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre of Ubud but there are several places to ear within 10 minutes walk. The breakfasts were excellent, with 4 choices made fresh when you arrived at the table or they would deliver it to your room. We had a deluxe balcony room with a very comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The swimming pool area is beautiful and they do a good breakfast but it’s undoubdetdly the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff that make it stand-out. It very handily located to walk into town on a quiet street by a small forest area. The rooms is a little dated but very clean and the price is superb. Well worth the money.

We loved our stay here. Unfortunately I ended up getting Bali belly. But the staff was extremely helpful bringing recovery food like bananas and teas. The breakfast options here are also delicious. They are also so helpful in planning a day for you if you want to do nearby tours. We enjoyed this location because it was near everything as well in walking distance. We highly recommend staying here. They make you feel like family.

Not suitable for families. No phones in rooms. No smart tv ( kids cannot access tv in anyway ) Pool was dirty . Maintenance is poor. Construction ongoing in and around the villa. All you can hear is construction tools noise . No easy access /no ramps incase u r injured . Even the driver who came to pick us felt uneasy as the staff was pushing him for our entire day schedule. Charged me 1M for an upgrade and gave the worst room filled with cockroaches Overall disappointing
