富士山景觀非常好。職員們的殷勤接待也很滿意。室外和室內的浴池都不錯。 酒店比較舊式還可以，但房間有些設計有待改進。例如洗手盆的冷熱水應該可以混合成一個水龍頭出。 由於沒有升降機，預訂時都要因應自己能力先考慮吓。

Das Hotel hat bessere Zeiten gesehen unser Zimmer war alt. Die Lampe im Eingangsbereich bei uns hatte einen Riss gehabt. Service war gut, aufmerksam. Bademöglichkeit mit Sauna war top, alles neu.

Beautiful views with amazing hospitality. Family run and the owner is quite involved and very kind, he chatted with us three times during our one night stay (check in/out and restaurant). Grandchildren playing and helping out gives this hotel a wonderful homey summer camp feel, as do the available amenities (table tennis, rooftop views, indoor + outdoor onsens) and watercraft rentals (saw paddleboards and kayaks). We stayed the night before climbing Fuji and found the rooms to be very spacious and the food filling. Note that restaurants/activities outside the hotel are limited as this area is remote. Bus access direct to the hotel is very convenient, although the bus ride can be long depending where you come from. We were greeted immediately upon bus arrival and helped to check in and out to catch the morning bus by wonderful staff and owners. Hotel is stair-based, not wheelchair friendly, was fine with us but important to know. Very foreigner friendly (have reasonable expectations as guests). For foreign tourists, a few notes: Shoji Lake is a very remote, mountainous area. Bugs exist. Japan does not do pest control (killing) in the way Americans are used to--if you're not prepared for that, perhaps stick to the cities. You need to take the bus to get here, it is a long ride from Shin-Fuji etc. and you must have cash or IC card. The bus only runs a few times a day, PLAN AHEAD. This experience was wonderful for us and well worth the trip!

We enjoyed staying this property with amazing view of Mt Fuji. The owner & all the staff are very friendly & welcoming. The property facilities is a bit old but very clean. We stayed on the top floor level 4 with a beautiful view of Mt Fuji. You can enjoy the view in the enclosed terrace area. Only downside no lifts so you are expecting to climb a lot of stairs if you are staying on the 4th floor. Staff will bring the luggage to your room. I could definitely return to stay in this property again & recommend to family & friends

Was a bit run down and dusty but for traditional Japanese floor mats they were really nice. Had a nice sitting area for viewing the lake. Staff had good English and were very accommodating since no elevator. There were a lot of hour restrictions on the sauna and bathhouse, didn't open till 3 so I was never there during the hours to use it. I just did one night which I regret as there were some clouds so never saw mount Fuji but beautiful anyways.

The hotel is well located, with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji and the lake. Free parking The staff is helpful The relaxation area (sauna, hot pool) is new. The rooms are old and unrenovated, and the furniture and furnishings are also in poor condition.

Shoji Lake hotel offers a very warm hospitality. the hotel itself is facing the Shoji lake and the Fuji-san view is so clear. you can walk to the lake side, also have free parking. the hotel has hotspring bath ( indoor and outdoor, I suggest the outdoor since its newly renovated). The rooms are quite aging but everything is cleaned properly. the staff is very helpful and explain everything so nicely. I suggest bringing some cup noodles/food for breakfast or dinner since the surrounding area are closing pretty early.

The hotel is very comfortable. There is free hot spring which helps you to relax. The terrace roof’s view is spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful! The rooms are spacious and clean.

景色が最高です。静かでゆっくりできました。 あと1時間屋上テラスの開放が長いと良いのに…と言う点と、露天風呂に蜘蛛の巣がはっていたのが少し残念。

建物が古いようなので多少の壁の薄さでの騒音やペット同伴だったので古さを感じる和室は仕方ないと思いました。 ペット同伴でも嫌な顔をせず細かい注意書きもなく窮屈な思いもしなかったし、親切丁寧な対応をしてくれたスタッフさんに感謝です。 お部屋以外の施設はリノベーションしてる所が多くてとても綺麗でオシャレでした。 露天風呂もとても綺麗でした。 部屋の窓が大きくてそこから見える富士山の眺めは最高でした。 ただ夜遅くに大騒ぎしてる方がいたのになかなか注意してくれなかったのは残念でしたが

The hotel is a little older but very very clean. The rooms have a great view of Mt. Fuji. She was a bit shy during our short stay but we did manage to get a glimpse of her from our room. This place does not have an elevator but staff will carry your bags to your room for you. The standout here is the staff who were so friendly and welcoming compared to the bigger fancy hotels. We would stay here again just because of the lovely staff.

Super friendly staff and helpful. Owner came and greeted us himself upon checking in. Hotel older and dated however family ran and super clean. It was a great experience at a traditional ryokan. Onsen was great and open til 8 AM. Location is far from town, but accessible by local bus. Totally worth the trek, great scenery even tho we missed Mt Fuji due to fog. I guess it gives us a reason to come back. 😊

施設はだいぶ古いみたいで、リフォームしてありますが、リフォームが中途半端で、テーブル、イスがはげていたり、トイレの壁紙が剥がれていたり、古さを感じました。玄関の靴入れが無いなんて初めてです😱室内から富士山や湖が見えたのは最高でした。スタッフも優しくて親切に対応してくれました。もう少し古さを感じなかったら良かったですね。

Typical old hotel, normally maintained, most important if the very nice Mountain Fuji view which overcome every disadvantage

室内のトイレ出入り口付近の板張りがきしみ大きな音が出る。このためトイレに行くのが夜間は苦痛になった

The staff at the Shoji lake hotel were superb, making both of us feel accommodated as soon as arrival. There is limited dining, and I would recommend those coming have a car to access the towns outside of the bus schedule. Aside from this, the baths, solitude from crowds and views of Fuji are outstanding. It's an older hotel, and it does not have an elevator. But they were quick to bring our bags to the room and provide any amenities we needed. Overall a great value getaway from the busier areas around Fuji.

まず、部屋から富士山が一望出来るのが良いですね。 朝は湖から気嵐が立ち、湖に富士山が写りとても綺麗でした。 エレベーターが無いので、足の悪い方などはしんどいかもしれません。 部屋風呂も一昔前、というレトロな感じです。 施設のお風呂も脱衣所に鍵も無いので、部屋の鍵を置きっぱなしにしないといけなくて、そこは少し気になりました。 とはいえ押し並べて良かったです。 景色、景観を楽しみたい方にはとても良いと思いますよ。

Perfect view of Mt Fuji. Old, but well renovated. Warm welcome from the owner. My family enjoy playing table tennis while waiting for the bus!

Je viens de passer un séjour incroyable dans cet hôtel situé au calme juste en face du lac avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le mont fuji. les chambres sont propres, spacieuses et typiques (ryokan) et le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et serviable.J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'onsen accessible toute la nuit.

The room we stayed in was a traditional style Japanese room where we slept on futons. They were very comfortable, and we had full views of Mt. Fuji from our room! The staff was incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed. They even tracked down the local bus for us when it was running a few minutes late and gave us tea and coffee while we waited. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something a little quieter than the hustle of places near Lake Kawaguchi.

My husband and I visited Lake Shoji for the first time in January. It was a rainy day when we checked in so we could not see Fuji San, but the warm welcome we received made up for the lack of view, even before we checked in, a very very kind employee helped us back into our parking spot. He also took our luggage in to the lobby. The desk employee was very kind and was willing to work with our limited Japanese. The owner even gave us a cup of tea and chocolates when we first arrived they also gave us many travel itinerary suggestions for the local area. We went with a traditional Japanese style room. It was very cozy, and spacious for the two of us in the morning rewarded with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Lake Shoji is the least developed of the Fuji Lakes, and unfortunately this hotel does not offer any dining options (they are working on it tho!). I highly suggest eating dinner before you check in or making sure you bring food with you.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. Took our luggage up the stairs and were waiting for us when we arrived. Welcomed warmly by the manager and once checked in felt like home away from home! We didn’t do kayaking but available if you intend to do so. Private baths or outside baths available which we took advantage of. Possibly for some guests may find the property a bit older but was adequate for what we wanted. View you get makes up for it. I’d certainly return to this place if I’m ever in Fuji-san area again.

I’d give it a 10/5 if I could. The owner was the friendliest person ever. As soon as we got there he took a picture of us in front of Fuji, offered us a drink in the lobby was very hands on with helping operations. They even had announcements on the intercom when Fuji came out of the clouds. Out of all the places we stayed while in Japan this one was my absolute favourite.

I am so happy that the owner is so proud of the property that he met us for a welcome drink!

This was the most stunning property and run by the most attentive, respectful, welcoming, and warm staff for our stay. We were only here for one night but wished we were here longer. The buses to get to the hotel only stop there a few times a day but this meant the owner knew when guests would arrive and was there to welcome each and everyone of us to the hotel. The moment we jumped off the bus we were greeted and our bags taken inside so himself and his staff could take the most incredible photos of us with the mountain in the background. We were seated in the small sitting area off the reception and given tea or coffee while they checked other guests in so we didn’t have to wait in line. After being checked in they took our bags up to our room for us. We had a beautiful traditional room with the best view. The comfiest room and best sleep of our trip and when we left in the morning and checked out, waiting for our bus, the owner came around once again to take photos one last time and saw us off. While the bus took a while he brought everyone cups of green tea. Could not recommend a hotel more.

In a country with incredibly welcoming people, this was probably out best experience. We were always welcomed with a smile and even the owner was always there to help us and to make sure we had a great time. The onsen and balcony views over the lake towards Mt Fuji were amazing too. The location is fantastic, because you really feel that yo are far away from it all...

Beautiful view of Mount Fuji for the hotel room and rooftop. Very unique (traditional Japanese style). Far from other tourist attractions but the bus stop is right outside the hotel, so that was super convenient. The view makes it worth it.

This hotel was one of the highlights we had on our Japan trip. It is located at the lovely Shoji lake and has a great roof terrace if you want to take stunning pictures of mount Fuji! We also loved our room with the futons and the onsen! Mr.Kobayashi and his team do their best to make you feel welcome at all times. Only thing you have to consider: if you come by bus, check the schedule because you don't have too many options and it is a pretty long ride from Kawaguchiko.

スタッフの方々がとても親切で詳しく色々と説明していただき、気持ちの良い対応でありがたく思いました🌸 こじんまりとしていますが、露天風呂は新しく綺麗で、サウナもあり、富士山も目の前に見えて、景色を眺めながらのんびりできました♨️ ホテルのどこからでも精進湖が見れて、晴れていれば富士山もバッチリな静かで眺めの良いロケーションです。 食事無しのプランでしたが、食べ物を調達してからチェックインして、静かな精進湖を眺めながら、快適に過ごすことができました✨ 今回お天気が悪かったのですが、満足出来ました✨ 眺望や静かな場所を好む方にお勧めです👍 目の前の湖にすぐに行けるので、子供連れにもいいと思いました✨

部屋からも、風呂からも、富士山がバッチリ見えて、堪能できました。早めにチェックインして、富士山を楽しむのがオススメです。素泊まり中心のようですが、レンチンできる食品やお酒はロビーで売ってます。徒歩圏は外れますが、割と近くに、デイリーヤマザキのストアもあり、何でも手に入ります。

酒店的老闆和職員都非常有善，有會說中文及英文的職員；入住時會有welcome drink，早上退房時也有咖啡。酒店的大堂和其他公共區域應該有經過翻新，十分漂亮，但畢竟酒店本身較有歷史，客房比較傳統，和室房間總有歲月痕跡。酒店樓高四層，沒有電梯，但職員都會幫客人拿行李。 酒店位在精進湖，一般都是自駕旅客入住，若是乘巴士前往，會比較不方便。房間正對精進湖，天氣好時可直接看到富士山。 附近很少餐廳，也很早關門，客人可自備食物。若是沒有提前準備，也可在酒店向職員購買冷凍食物、即食麵等。
