Best Western Plus Santa Barbara

The air conditioning was not working so they had installed portable air conditioners in the window, so the window could not close and lock. We were on the ground floor, so worried about security. Room was clean, but had a strong chemical smell, like it had just been treated with insecticide or something like that.

The hotel and our room were basic, but in good, clean condition, and everything worked well. Excellent customer service the entire length of our stay. Nice neighborhood. Convenient to everything.

My go to Vegas hotel

People at the front are very attentive. I was assigned a room on the other side of the building that doesnt have elevator so I had to use stairs, I didn't want to take my big suitcase upstairs so I asked them to change my room to the floor and they were able to accommodate my request the next day and let me see the room first before they assigned it to me. I forgot the name of the person who helped. Cafe food was good if you dont wanna go somewhere else to eat.Pool was clean and the hot pool is under the roof which was comfortable to sit in it. Property is very clean and looks like the rooms were just renovated and cleaning room service was everyday so clean towels and clean room every day. They have coffee 24 hours at the front desk and clean pool towel also available at the front desk.Not too noisy even though lots of people come and go. King Bed is bigger than any other hotels i ever stayed. Rooms have balconies for fresh air to flow.Overall I am happy to give this place 5 stars. Couple restaurants in walking distance but having a car really help ,8 mints drive away from Los arroyos mexican restaurants where all the restaurants are located.

There were bugs in the room, the kitchen utensils were not clean, there was not enough lighting. When reported issue to front end no one came to fix the problem. Had to checkout one day in advance.
