I booked a stay at this hotel because my friends were staying at a different location of the same hotel branch and it looked very nice. I was hoping it would be similar in quality since it was the same brand. Big mistake. I had to call someone to do my check in. The elevator wasn't working. The entire hotel had a urine smell. It didn't go away until the morning. My room was dirty. There was a roach crawling up the wall. Not of a lot of amenities in the room. Overall just a very bad experience..

Staff guy Caden was fabulous. I originally wanted the 4th floor but he put me in 213, i walked in w my 2 kids and walked RIGHT OUT. A baby cockroach was crawling on the stove. I told him and he walked me up rooms 414 and 413. 414 smelled like sweat and vomit very stingy smell, the bath tub was not fit for a bath after a long day, toilet seat was up, the smell is what turned me off. 413 had a plastic bag on the bed, puke flakes in the toilet, a tv that did not work, (he came later to replace it), the sink and tub were leaky, its 25.00 for a kitchen set even though theres a kitchen, and dirty towels. Caden replaced the quilt and provided extra clean sheets and towels plus fixed my tv. The remote doesnt turn down volume nor does it change the channel back. Bed was clean and comfy. Leaving that Friday morning a smashed roach was by the elevator.

First and foremost the front desk closes at 11 pm so if you arrive late, good luck. The elevator was broken so not ADA compliant. The entire place smells like marijuana. The room is full of stains and what we realized was as mold. The toilet was broken and did not flush but the front desk wouldn’t fix because they were “closed”. The shower area completely damaged. Again, in horrible shape. Do not book this hotel. If it wasn’t almost midnight when we got the keys, we would have booked somewhere else. I hope hotels.com takes note of the condition of this location and drops them from their listing.

It has a full kitchen. You can buy some pots and pans at front desk. They have free wifi. You have to supply own tp and carry own trash out. They will clean room every other week, if you ask.

Front desk on site manager was very nice when checking in. Once I arrived in my room I noticed at least 10 roaches. Went down to request another room. Manager was very apologetic and polite. Once I arrived in my second room the first thing I saw was 3 roaches in the sink, one on the wall and several on the floor. I promptly asked for a refund which I was given and found another hotel to stay at. Very inconvenient and nasty

The room looked nothing like the pictures. Very dingy and the entire hallway on the 2nd floor smelled like weed and chemical cleaner. The room was dirty and so was the bathroom. Overall, don’t stay here.

This hotel is terrible. It smelled like weed everywhere, the sheets were stained, the beds had no strong support and moved around, the shower was in poor condition, and it was not hygienic for my family. Honestly, if you have to go to San Antonio, NEVER stay at this hotel!

The entire building smelled of marijuana as soon as you pass the lobby doors. The room was okay but I found trash on the carpet that was not picked up, two roached crawling on the walls and the bathroom smelled like urine. The tub was also dirty so I had my kids step on a towel while they showered.

We checked out shortly after checking in. It was awkward to get to off of the main road. The outside of the building and property looked neat, however the check in wasn't clear and felt like going into a secure prison. The hallways smelled of urine and the elevator like vomit. The beds were made, but the blankets were pilled and stained. The bathroom was wiped down, but not clean and surfaces stained. The "kitchen" consisted of old two electric burners, a microwave and a fridge. No pots, dishes or utensils. We were afraid of what we were exposing our child too.

The whole experience was terrible. Waited about 20 minutes for front desk to come help check us in. Walked inside the first set of doors it smelled so strong of cigarette smoke went in the elevator it had a musty smell was very dirty even had spiderweb. The wouldn’t work finally worked. Used the restroom toilet didn’t flush properly. The room was dirty had a couple of dead roaches took off my shoes the floor was sticky dirty. Went back down to let them know, he was helping someone check in was told to wait a minute while he helped the other person, I said no I need to be helped rt now I have a place I have to go to, he attended me gave me another room Same senario. Except the door opened better and the toilet worked . We won’t stay there again

The room was clean but it smelled like cigarettes. Mind you it was very budget friendly and it had a little stove and sink. Maps and Google Maps were terrible to follow during the night. Maybe a sign on the side of the highway would help us get to it faster. I literally went around four times to find entrance to road going to hotel. Room was clean, air conditioner worked, and we slept well. It wasn't a noisy hotel.

The pillows were so flat you had to triple them to get enough for one pillow. There was a police visit the first night we stayed. The beds were basicaly oversize cots. The blankets were very thin.

Everything was great but they had roaches and some of the bed sheets had stains and my door to room would not Lock when you closed it. I had to keep closing it very hard. Overall it if they get new bed sheets and have someone come pest control. The door can be fixed. Safe place but needs some work done. Overall everyone was amazing.

Its was descent for the price. The beds are not comfortable at all. Pillows were flat as pancakes. Saw a few roaches. The area was quiet and not alot of commotion. For the price not bad, just dont expect a lot with the room.

The beds were the worst I’ve EVER slept in. The top blanket/ cover was thinner than the sheet. The carpet was stained all around. The front desk was closed for the night at 11 pm so we couldn’t get extra blankets. VERY disappointed with this stay. Not worth the price I paid !!!

Everyone was great. There was not 1 person with a negative attitude at this location. I have stayed at other hotels where there is 1 employee with a negative attitude. That was not the case at the WoodSpring Suites.

I made a reservation for a friend at this hotel tonight. They closed the office at 11:00, my friend could not enter the hotel, I called their phone number but they did not answer, even though I paid my money, my friend could not stay at the hotel. It's a terrible hotel and I want my money back

Well, I just start off with. I had to sleep in my truck in the parking lot. Because I arrived after 12 AM. Mind you.. I called the front desk of the hotel and told them that it would be after midnight when I got there. Do too traveling issues. So upon arriving, I was told that I could not check-in. I would have to come back in the morning. So i slept in my truck in tne parking lot until it was time for me to leave for work at 4a.m. for your notes, I paid to stay there for days vette could not get someone to check me in because it was after midnight. Highway robbery out here folks and most of them don't want to look that finger to put in any type of work.They'd rather make excuses for themselves and why they can't, but never offer up a resolution of what they could do

It has beds and running water. Was difficult to check in and get someone to answer the phone. Asked for clean linens, was told they would be delivered, came back at 12:30am to no linens, no after hours service and rude staff that told me “good luck” the office doesn’t open until 7am…

Quan at the front desk did an amazing job with helping me get checked in. He advised me on how to get the best price for my stay and has an outstanding personality. He’s very professional and made things as easy as possible. Room was clean the communication is stellar. I recommend this property it’s awesome. Gratitude to the staff for a wonderful transition.

Upon entering our room, we were greeted with roaches on the couch, roaches on the wall, and a pillow with brown streaks ALL over it. We immediately left (wouldnt even set our bags down) and booked another hotel nearby. The kicker...when letting the hotel and expedia know, our refund has been denied! Even with photos! So not only is it absolutely disgusting, they dont care!! Do not book here!

The guy at the front desk was just terrible and acted like I was bothering him by paying waaaayy too much for the trash pile of a hotel that this place presents. I don’t think this place has ever been cleaned, smelled of rotten garbage and marijuana, most of the clientele looked as if we were at a homeless shelter, the WiFi doesn’t work, the rooms are gross and uncared for, I wouldn’t have paid $10 for this place, they should burn it to the ground and call it a day

Did not feel safe here. Cops showed up during our whole stay. The side doors didn’t work all the time to enter from. Saw a cockroach in the restroom and again by the stove. Cut my knee on the bed frame. I would not recommend for families with small children.

We didn’t even stay. The place had very undesirable people hanging around both in and outside and we didn’t feel safe. We went so far as to look inside the room and it was as disappointing as the outside of the hotel. Then we were informed we had to pay for the hotel for one night because they reserved the nightmare of a room they had reserved for us. NEVER again. We won’t even look at a Wood Springs if they appear in the search again! Buyer beware!

This place is good for the price that are listed. Not only are there things to do around it, it is walkable from the hotel. It is tucked away from the main road which gives you a silent night to rest up. Staff was great, friendly and was very informative on any questions I had. Will definitely be booking again when in the area again.

Hotel stay ranked at one of the worst we've stayed in. 6 rating on hotels.com was very conservative. We gave it a 1. Bed was uncomfortable, no house keeping service in the 3 days we stayed there. No breakfast as was mentioned in the description. No pool, we could hear the water running down the pipes from upstairs all day and night through the walls. Odors inthr hallways and rooms were bad. We went to comain about the unsatisfactory conditions and they did not offer and new room and first thing they said was there are no refunds!

The hotel was old and the bedding was horrible dingy bed linen the toliet was loose from the floor, A/C wasn't great , carpet was spotty, tub was horrible I had to stand in the shower with my slippers on the Elevators wasn't working, no contential breakfast. over all it wasn't great.
