This motel was good value for money. Check in was easy, friendly and helpful. It was peaceful and enjoyable to stay here. I was able to park right outside my room which is a bonus. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. It had plenty of amenities that you needed for a great stay. The only suggestion I would make for the room is sheer curtains. I closed the blinds but then had to turn on lights. To save power and have privacy I think sheer curtains would do the trick. The bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated. It was spacious, extremely clean and a great hot shower. The motel has laundry facilities and a large open grassed area for entertainment. If they had the money, I would put a pool in this area :) The area around the motel was peaceful at the time I stayed. I would estimate about 5-10 min walk into the main shops. I would highly recommend this motel if you wanted something simple with home comforts. I will definitely stay here again if the chance arises.

Enormous King+ bed plus a single. Parking at the door. Nice little outdoor area with river/lake view + table and chairs. Only negative is the exhaust fan in the bathroom sounds scarily past its use by date.

Only a few of the rooms actually have a view to the water. The majority look across to the rooms directly opposite. The driveway is narrow and you have to go to the end, do a 3 point turn and then backtrack to the entrance. The table and chairs were wobbly/ squeaky. The tap in the bathroom sink was so loose as to be almost unusable. Soap holder in the shower broken and unusable.

We had a room facing the marina and enjoyed it, but the early fishing traffic noise did intrude a bit. If quiet is paramount for you, ask for a room right at the back. Very convenient location.

One night the noise from other rooms echoed between the rooms and was hard to bear. Family room has the queen bed in the common area, so no privacy, while the two single beds are in a separate room.

The property manager, Michael, is really funny and friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble for him. I left an item in the motel room and he made a special trip to the Post office to make sure I got it back. So awesome! Our room was on the lakeside and it was lovely to look out at all the boats. Beautiful fragrant rose bushes everywhere and some awesome Pride of Madeira bushes out the front. Really lovely, we’ll be back!

The place was easy and quiet. Which is what I wanted for a quick overnight stay. The receptionist wasn't overly welcoming. But that I can manage. Going out for breakfast the next morning and coming back to find my door open and linens on the outside, not so much. I asked the receptionist what was going on. She advised me that since my car was gone they assumed I had to. Even with the motel key still in my hand.. Not the best experience.

An older style motel that is clean and comfortable and perfect for our overnight stay. Comfy bed with good linen. We had a tyre issue when we arrived and the manager was very helpful in allowing us to park on his lawn and telling us where the nearest tyre dealer was. He’s a very jovial chap telling jokes all the time! Location is good - lovely walk across the road and walking distance to eateries

Great property in a prime location; walk out the door and you are in a very pretty part of Lakes. Sleep quality was good. Staff were highly accommodating and friendly. The place was immaculate in the rooms and the exterior. Only downside was the furniture needs updating; this is minor. But excellent overall. I feel like this property has got a keen eye on making guests feel comfortable. Would stay again.

The location is excellent especially if you book a river view room. The owner is friendly and available to assist you in any way. The room was clean and had everything that you’d need. You can walk along the walking tracks, to the beach, to parks, to restaurants, cafes and many more places. I highly recommend this location.
