The hotel was lovely, clean and bright. The staff were very friendly. Room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast was really nice. Pool area was good but there was a bit of algae in the water at the deep end. We were told it was harmless.

Pool size: 8,60m x 3,85m and up to 1,70m deep. There are very less parking areas in Olhao and they have to bei paid. It ist better to Olhao without a car. The Bus Station and the train Station ( 5-10 minutes away) are close to the Hotel. The Hotel hast got sound prooved Windows. No noise from the Outside ist in the rooms. There are some shade areas around the pool. The harbour ist 10 minutes away.
Pool size: 8,60m x 3,85m and up to 1,70m deep. There are very less parking areas in Olhao and they have to bei paid. It ist better to Olhao without a car. Hôtel très propre, très bien tenu et bien placé. Ménage quotidien, chambre à la literie confortable, douche à l’italienne dans la salle de bains, tout était particulièrement entretenu et très propre. Tout juste peut-on reprocher une armoire de rangement qui manque d’étagères… Petit déjeuner correct bien que peu varié. Très belle piscine pour un hôtel en Ville. Le seul bémol concerne le stationnement difficile dans un quartier résidentiel… Au final, un hôtel qui s’est avéré une belle découverte

Das Hotel selbst ist sehr sauber, das Frühstück sehr lecker und mit einer großen Auswahl. Der Pool ist sehr schön angelegt und recht warm. Das Wasser könnte sauberer sein. Man läuft schnell zu Fuß an die Strandpromenade, wo es viele leckere Restaurants gibt. Das Hotel hat einen Parkplatz zum Ein- und Ausladen, ansonsten kann man in der Umgebung kostenlos parken.

Fantastic facilities, ample wardrobe and hanging space with safe in room, tea/coffee making facilities but not products supplied, small fridge in room, large comfy bed with crisp white sheets, TV, nice bathroom with nice soaps and large walk in shower. Outside there was a really lovely pool with sunbeds round and another seating area up a few stairs overlooking the pool free poolside towels supplied and I think the hotel also provided seaside parasol to be used off site, although we didn't use them. The breakfast as as as expected with all that's needed.
Fantastic facilities, ample wardrobe and hanging space with safe in room, tea/coffee making facilities but not products supplied, small fridge in room, large comfy bed with crisp white sheets, TV, nice bathroom with nice soaps and large walk in shower. Outside there was a really lovely pool with sunbeds round and another seating area up a few stairs overlooking the pool free poolside towels supplied and I think the hotel also provided seaside parasol to be used off site, although we didn't use them. The breakfast as as as expected with all that's needed.

Lovely simple hotel with a good breakfast available . Very very clean very comfortable bed. Good pool. Very near the train station so great to get to other local towns very cheaply. Disadvantage no restaurant available so you need to always eat out. It is very near the main town so also convenient.

Pros: -Very friendly staff who all spoke English -Close proximity to the sea, fantastic restaurants located everywhere -Housekeeping very prompt and did an amazing job -Pool an amazing addition, clean. -Very affordable, can't get a hotel in Leeds cheaper! Les membres du personnel rencontrés lors de notre séjour étaient gentils, souriants et serviables. Les chambres et les espaces communs étaient propres et en excellente condition. La piscine et l'espace adjacent était impeccable. L'hôtel est situé tout près d'une banque et d'une épicerie, et à une dizaine de minutes de marche du bord de l'eau, là où on peut retrouver un grand nombre de restaurants. Recommandé pour un séjour à Olhāo.

The hotel is nice, there isn't a restaurant area but self-service breakfast offered for a fee. The pool is lovely and the staff are friendly, with a genuine positive disposition they were attentive and helpful. However I noticed that during my 3 night stay my bedding was only changed once. The top sheet was replaced but it was clearly both else was, I could see a little spillage I made from the night before still on the sheet. That was quite disappointing, as the room was very clean when I checked in.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful in recommending places to go in Olhao. Relaxing pool area. Location was good, just a short walk from the town and marina. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as we felt that local cafes had more atmosphere. We really enjoyed Olhao and would choose the Cidade again.

Good location and very modern. Excited to see a kettle in the room disappointed that they wanted 2 euros for one tea bag. Quick trip to the shop for a pack of 10 (less than a euro)! Reception staff friendly and helpful. Shower had MOLD between tiles.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner buffet. Le personnel était adorable. Par contre notre chambre donnait sur la rue très passante et était au rez de chaussée donc on ne pouvait pas ouvrir la fenêtre. Bien que fumer soit interdit dans les chambres, notre chambre sentait le tabac froid.

We had a lovely stay in Olhao. The hotel breakfast was a good way to start the day, and a dip in the clear cool water in the pool helped us to recover at the end of the day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the absence of sockets in the kitchenette. There was a kettle and a toaster, but nowhere to plug them in.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff. Everywhere was cleaned regularly. Sun loungers always available. Studio was spacious. Handy for the bus and train station. 15 minutes walk from the seafront with loads of restaurants fairly close by. The only negative is outwith the hotels control. As it's in a residential area it can be noisy, with dogs barking and building work going on

The hotel is very convenient for guests using the train or a bus, as it is very close to both stations. It is a bit of a walk into the waterfront area, but should be manageable for most people. I stayed in a studio that was more like a one-bedroom apartment. It had a well-equipped kitchenette that opened into a nice living space (with a large sofa), plus a good shower room. The bedroom was a bit compact given the (large) size of the bed, but it was not a problem. The studio had several windows facing the pool area. Staff members were very nice and helpful.

What an amazing property! I. Cannot put into words how wonderful our stay was. Starting with the front desk, to mention a name, Marta was great to us, she provided it all the information that we requested regarding restaurants, activities and transportation around the area. But in general ALL the staff is great, always willing to help (we even borrowed an umbrella from one of the nice ladies). If you do not have a car the train station and bus stations are just around de corner.. in the morning you woke up with the smell of fresh baked bread and the breakfast is really good with some tasty little pastais de nata. We will stay there again without hesitation! We are looking forward for our next stay!

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel in an apartment. Friendly staff, Bruno helped when there was an issue with the air con. Nice pool area, l know its out of their hands, but a dog barked incessantly when we were by the pool. Will stay again!

Amazing small hotel room good breakfast good staff amazing reception one of the most kind and helpful i have met .location close to alloa centre and port 10 mins and youre in the lovely old town bus station 1 minute train station 5 mins walking a 10 minute train ride youre in faro .superb local well priced food i loved every minute i am old 65 and a single traveller the hotel made me so welcome thank you.i highly reccomend this hotel als the taxi firm the hotel use run by hugo brilliant friendly informative superb

Front desk staff was very rude and would not accomodate simple requests which are usual in other hotels (ie taking a glass of water from the lobby to the room, use of hotel towel to go to the beach). No clue of customer service/satisfaction. Breakfast was nice though

I wanted a week away alone and chose this hotel as it was not large and impersonal. The hotel is in a superb position right in the town itself. The public transport is excellent with the train station just five minutes away as is the bus station. The staff in this hotel are so helpfull and friendly and will do anything to make you stay memorable. Breakfast buffet is good with a large choice of items. There is also a pool on site not massive but so convenient if you want to stay in. Olhao is now a must for me I will be coming back again. When out and about it's very safe and all the Portuguese people I met were so kind and helpful. The hotel and place get a gold star from me. Dont forget to go on the ferry to visit the islands nearby as there is no beach in the town.

What an amazing property! I. Cannot put into words how wonderful our stay was. Starting with the front desk, to mention a name, Marta was great to us, she provided it all the information that we requested regarding restaurants, activities and transportation around the area. But in general ALL the staff is great, always willing to help (we even borrowed an umbrella from one of the nice ladies). If you do not have a car the train station and bus stations are just around de corner.. in the morning you woke up with the smell of fresh baked bread and the breakfast is really good with some tasty little pastais de nata. We will stay there again without hesitation! We are looking forward for our next stay!

Das Hotel selbst ist sehr sauber, das Frühstück sehr lecker und mit einer großen Auswahl. Der Pool ist sehr schön angelegt und recht warm. Das Wasser könnte sauberer sein. Man läuft schnell zu Fuß an die Strandpromenade, wo es viele leckere Restaurants gibt. Das Hotel hat einen Parkplatz zum Ein- und Ausladen, ansonsten kann man in der Umgebung kostenlos parken.

Lovely simple hotel with a good breakfast available . Very very clean very comfortable bed. Good pool. Very near the train station so great to get to other local towns very cheaply. Disadvantage no restaurant available so you need to always eat out. It is very near the main town so also convenient.

The hotel was really nice. The rooms are typical for Europe. The area around the hotel was less than ascetically pleasing. Easy to walk to marina and get Ubers. All but one staff members was knowledgeable and offered help. Breakfast was really good. Hotel was clean.

Spotlessly clean. Well appointed studios, great variety at breakfast & the friendliest, most helpful staff (even at 1am!). When we visited (end of June), the pool was in shade from 4pm, which was very welcome. A really lovely hotel with a welcoming vibe- would highly recommend & hope to return.
