Nice new property in the city center. Everything is modern and well done. The breakfast is really nice and very convenient so add that option. The bar service on the rooftop was slow as it seemed a bit disorganized up there. However, the rooftop is amazing so it was worth the wait.

Our trip to Madrid in mid September was extra amazing because we chose the right hotel with Umusic. The location was perfect. We were able to easily walk to most landmarks. Staff was friendly and room was immaculate. Plenty of shopping and restaurants right out the door of the hotel. Love the boutique feel of this hotel. The rooftop and pool were a plus. Just wish we had more time to enjoy those features. We’d definitely book here again next trip.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the UMusic hotel. It is essentially brand new, exactly where you want to be, set behind a beautiful theatrical edifice and has every comfort you could expect, and then some. The main distinction was the staff- they were all genuinely interested in making sure you were comfortable, enjoying yourself and wanting for nothing. All lovely people. Loved the extra large bath in the room and the ability to pop the doors open and hang over the street. The Marshall speaker was a nice touch. Never utilised the pillow menu on offer to guests but it’s there. Only thing I would say is the gym and pool are both quite small but they do the job, there’s a decent area for sunbathing that’s well attended and the gym, although small, has high quality technogym cardio machines and a cable stack assembly, so enough to keep you ticking over. Will stay here again!

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Madrid. We loved the breakfast , the pool and the roof top bar. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Our only regret was not staying to see The Christians on our departure day. If you book check who is performing at the theatre!

I love this hotel. It's smart, stylish and immaculate. It might be musically themed and situated in the middle of a noisy city but my room was silent - as well as being spacious and very comfortable. Staff are absolutely lovely well. Highly recommended.

Location is especially great for tourists. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel and amenities are lovely and the hotel design is great except for one place - the actual room. The hotel room has been designed to look good but is far from practical for travellers if there is more than one person in the room or if you have a large suitcase. There is not a separate bathroom (to use at night, the room lights also turn on, there is a large tub at the entrance so not at all private, there is a vanity with a tap that is too high and splashes water everywhere and little vanity space for guests. The shower has great water pressure but it’s small and hard to have conditioner stay on your hair, or try to shave in there. There are limited spaces to put things and the “mini bar” takes up half the desk space.

The hotel location was really good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I had to move to a different room because my room had a constant noise coming from the AC outside and they kindly offered to move me. I will say that while the first room was clean, I didn't really like the setup. The bed was right next to the door and made the room look tiny small which I didn't really appreciate since I paid premium money for the room. The second day, the second room I moved to was quiet and was more comfortable. I will likely stay again.

Firstly, Eduardo the guest experience manager was fantastic. Great recommendations and made us feel welcome at the hotel. I’m so happy we stayed at this hotel. The room was clean, although the regular room does not have a separating the toilet / bathroom - so it’s a little awkward

The hotel was very clean and staff were helpful. The only comment is that the shower was tiny and the room configuration was awkward (you needed to duck underneath the tv post to get around the bed, little storage area, small sink). However the room was beautiful and the hotel building too

Location was great. Nice rooftop deck and staff friendly. Our room was not what hoping for. Premium garden view gave us a view of a brick wall and the room size was incredibly small. The bathroom was only 3 feet from the bed. I am unsure how you could possibly give this a 5 star rating. Having stayed at other hotels on this vacation this did not compare

UMusic Hotel is in an excellent location with amazing service. However, the room design offered very little privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. Only a two-way mirror divides the two spaces, with frosted glass shower and toilet partitions. It's an ok space for a couple but would not be appropriate for others traveling together who want some modesty.

We have stayed before at UMusic and was so impressed we chose to stay again. The decor / architecture is impressive inside and out. We had an issue with a leaking shower which was resolved seamlessly, without any effort on our part and the Guest Services Manager Eduardo personally came to see us to offer his apologies. Even a cake and a bottle of fizz for my birthday. Would highly recommend.

Was a bit thrown off upon arriving to the hotel. Security guard was standing in the doorway as it started to rain and didn't move despite seeing me coming. At no point should a guest have to walk around a staff member upon arrival with bags, then have to open the door on their own. Immediate terrible first impression. Staff upon check in were nice, got me settled in right away. Room was big, clean and spacious. Not much of a view as I faced another building, and was hoping for a brighter/ better view. Hotel was well kept, shower, tub, hallways were all very well maintained. If you have a chance, definitely get the breakfast, some good options before a day of sightseeing. I would consider coming back here, the location cannot be beat.

I think you should consider re organizing the front desk. It was chaotic between people checking in and others who just had questions. Wait time because of it. We also got a key that did not work so had to come down and repeat the entire experience. Of note, one day we left our room at 8 am and put the service needed sign out. We left a tip to appreciate the staff. When we came back at 3:30 nothing was done but the money was gone? So once again we had to go and seek someone to get our room done. A little suspect I think. Not the quality one might come to expect.

Our stay was overall average. We arrived before the official check-in time, and the staff kindly accommodated us a bit earlier, which we appreciated. The room was decent but nothing exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was of average quality. One disappointing experience was with a discount offer of up to 20% off. UMusic is a great place to stay. What stood out the most to me was the staff at this hotel. You could tell that customer service is extremely important to them. Everywhere we turned they were there offering to help and exceeding expectations. I was truly impressed by this. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

We arrived early and Madrid and checked our bags before exploring the city. On our reservation request, we asked for a king size bed. By the time we came back and checked into our room, the hotel was fully booked, and we had been put in a room with a single bed. The hotel staff Shuffled the things around and moved us to a room with a double bed, but the bed was placed in such a way that there was less than a foot from the end of the bed and the wall, making it extremely difficult to move around the bed in the evening. We were rather than drink tickets upon arrival and decided to take advantage of the lovely rooftop bar that evening and when we went to check out, we were told that we could not use those shrink tickets for the drinks that have been ordered Overall, we felt disappointed in the hotel. I needed to speak to several people before we were able to get some of these issues resolved, and it felt like that should not have been the case for the caliber of hotel. Eventually, they did offer us breakfast in the morning, which was lovely and much appreciated, but I don’t know if I’d stay in this hotel again.

Great location in Central Madrid. Hotel is clean, sound proof so you don’t hear the noice from the streets when busy. Staff was friendly, willing to help and explained the services the hotel could assist with (from taxi to help with local reservations and shows). Great breakfast - albeit some may consider it a bit overpriced given the options surrounding the hotel - that said they did have live music during breakfast (piano and singer) just loud enough to be soft and give it a special ambiance. Only 2 small issues during our short stay: 1) hotel guest do not have special access to the rooftop- so if you plan to go make reservations - incase the day you goo is a busy day for them. 2) a cleaning staff member entered our room unannounced when we where inside. the sign outside the door was places so that we wouldn’t be bothered. It may have been a sincere mistake but one that should not happen - it can create a violation of trust and personal space. Other than those 2 things - the hotel is very good and relatively new. The theater is also pretty good. We saw Carmen and it was an excellent production. They have different shows during the year.

Stayed here only because of location to a meeting that was within walking distance. The location was great, walkable to dining and shopping. The room was very small, fine for 2 nights but more than that would have been tight. The bathroom is open and part of the room which I hate -- if someone goes to the bathroom or turns on the light you hear/see everything and will wake you up. Room service was horrendous. I ordered a Cesar salad and requested no anchovies and it showed up with anchovies all over the top. The dressing was like mayonnaise. Ordered a fruit salad and the kiwi was rock hard, like a hockey puck. Whoever put it on the plate had to have known that it was rock hard and inedible. The AC didn't work well, never got to the temperature set. The breakfast served in the restaurant was great, room service needs to learn from that chef. If you want young, think Hard Rock hotel, you'll like it here but if you are an experienced traveler than look elsewhere.

The Welcome champagne and Friendly Concierge was Wonderful. The cleaning staff was efficient and thorough. The cost of breakfast was not specified upon check-in and was over priced for the options available. We were not advised of the cost until check out. That was disappointing.

Excellent hotel with spacious rooms and a great bathroom. The breakfast offered a wide range of options, including à la carte choices. The hotel team was extremely helpful, providing great restaurant recommendations and handling reservations. They even assisted with booking train tickets from Madrid to Malaga. The location is perfect, very central and close to Sol. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Madrid.
