Bedsheets were not clean/changed when we checked in late night. We asked the bed sheets to be changed and were upgraded to a new room which was super cold and temperature was 11C. We turned the heat on and it did not warm up the room for most of the night so we slept with layers of clothes on. We were so tired that we did not bother to call the front desk. Truly disappointing stay this time around as we always stay at this hotel for Christmas and never has any issues in the past.

Déçus de notre séjour. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec deux lits doubles à l’hôtel Times de Drummondville, mais plusieurs éléments ont malheureusement compromis notre expérience. À notre arrivée, la chambre était complètement plongée dans le noir. Nous n’arrivions pas à trouver l’interrupteur pour allumer les lumières et avons dû utiliser la lampe de nos cellulaires pour nous orienter. L’interrupteur principal se trouvait derrière la porte entreouverte de la salle de bain — un emplacement peu pratique et non intuitif. De plus, contrairement à notre réservation, la chambre ne comptait qu’un seul lit double, ce qui nous a obligés à dormir à deux dans un lit trop petit pour assurer un confort adéquat. Le matelas était peu confortable et il n’y avait que deux oreillers au lieu des quatre attendus. Durant la nuit, aucune veilleuse n’était présente pour faciliter l’accès sécuritaire à la salle de bain, et l’éclairage dans celle-ci était très insuffisant pour se préparer convenablement. Enfin, l’insonorisation laissait à désirer : nous avons été réveillés par une dispute provenant de la chambre voisine, ce qui a ajouté à notre inconfort.

This property looks good on the outset. Front of a convention centre by the looks of it. Air conditioning was set at 21C but was at 30C in the room as the AC was not working. Went to front desk and they said others have complained the same. An employee was resetting the central HVAC computer? It then worked but took hours to cool the room down. Walls painted black (concrete) with pointed direction LED lighting. Very poor lighting. Dark everywhere. Then I asked how to access the pool. Once I found out from the front desk it was in the basement, I went and changed for a dip. Then I went down and there were no towels! Just used ones in a hamper. The front desk neglected to tell me to pick up pool towels AT the front desk when I was there inquiring where the pool was. Then come the morning shower, the clean hung bath towels were thin and actually torn in areas. Not worth the price of admission. Bed was comfy and it was quiet so I got a good night sleep. But will not return due to all the negatives.

This hotel tries to be unique but in the process some design choices are weird like no real door in the washroom, a glass wall between the shower and bedroom area and no electrical outlet on one side of the bed. Reasonably comfortable but just kind of weird

Room was clean and nice but there were no USB ports anywhere and we had 3 pillows for 2 people and they were so soft that even folded in 2 it didn’t provide sufficient support for a side sleeper like me. Curtains don’t overlap but mattress was comfortable enough. The shower doesn’t have a door so I took a really quick one because I got real cold, real fast.

It was pleasantly surprising to us and we will definitely be back. I’d say that the staff need additional training. Housekeeping shouldn’t get on elevators with 4 guests and their bags. Front desk staff should be more welcoming and friendly. It is a major corridor through Quebec and staff should be conversant in English.

We spent only one night at Grand Times on a stopover. It always seems odd to me when the front desk can’t match the online deal … so we literally booked online from the lobby to save $60. Our rate did not include breakfast but was still a major savings and the breakfast was $13 each for a cold, continental. There is a modern vibe and it looks nice, and both the lobby and room was clean and modern looking. A few odd things included black walls with black light switches… a bit of a scavenger hunt. The one bed in our 2 bed room was actually a “Murphy bed” and could have been folded up against the wall. There was shampoo and soap dispensers, but no conditioner or moisturizer… which seemed odd for a property that was twice the cost of others in the area. It did have a pool that we didn’t check out but not a hot tub which we had hoped for. An easy walk to many local restaurants and amenities which is nice. Also a nice large tv and small fridge in the room. The walk in shower was also hot and good strength which is key for me. Overall … not sure it was worth the money, but that’s probably a personal preference depending on what your priorities are.

I have stayed at the Grand Times in the past. The staff on the front desk are great. Very helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Close to downtown and equally close to the highway if you’re passing through. I found the pillows on my bed a little soft for my liking but otherwise the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

I found the room extremely warm. In order to turn on the ac you need to contact the reception desk. You also do not have control of the AC so there was no way to regulate the temperature. Another thing I felt was unfair- because we booked with Expedia the Continental breakfast was not included. Friends of ours booked directly with the hotel and they had the breakfast included. We both paid the same price.

Air conditioning didn’t work for 2/3 days (either freezing or too hot). You have a remote in the room but apparently you can’t turn the air con on or off, only adjust the temperature but mine didn’t work for a bit. Breakfast is only bread, jam and fruit so you need to look for places around, luckily there are some good options not too far. Gym door was locked both times I went so I had to go back upstairs and asked at reception to open it.

Wall were a little dusty, seems like no body was in that room for a while base board smell like burnt dust when we turned on. Also be ready to pay 4$ for the water bottle in the room. Also if you book from Expedia the breakfest is not included its an extra 13$ a person.
