RSL is across the road, and the meaks were great. Found a cafe in the morning less than 5 min walk. Place was clean, and the aircon was positioned well for the hot weather we experienced. We liked to walk and the walk ways took us to the sea side in about 2km. We didn't have time to use the good sized swimming pool, but it was inviting. The place is older than some, but is clean and not run down. It is a comfy stay for a good price and it is convenient to shopping centres and eateries.

Lady who booked us in was absolutely lovy to speak with and very informative. Community laundry also had 2 microwaves and a toaster available as none in the room. Rooms were on the smaller size but still good for a nights stay. A older motel, but had all you needed for a night or a few stay. Used our key tag at the RSL across the road to get big discounts on food and drinks. Book if attending as they get very busy. Would recommend for staying.

Average old style hotel/motel. The room and buildings were clean, but there was no provision for help to get my heavy case up two flights of concrete stairs. The price was cheaper than other places, but didn’t really reflect what you got for your money.

Whilst the motel is showing signs of age it is spotlessly clean and well appointed. Check- in was friendly and efficient. The motel is two stories and has no lift, so those with mobility issues should contact management to ensure ground floor rooms, I am sure that they would do there utmost to accomodate. Parking is plentiful, but open to the street.

We’re both over 70 and weren’t told or didn’t read there were no lifts. We had to walk up three flights of stairs as were told no ground floor units available. I have a heart condition and a pacemaker. . Were told ‘next time ask for a ground floor unit’ No wardrobe just a U shape bracket for clothes carpets and sitting chairs stained and we had to wear shoes as carpet felt dirty and greasy. No safety chain on door for added security. It was very windy for our stay and windows and door continually rattled. A shelf in the bathroom would make putting toiletries more handy. Insect screen torn. Small well worn but clean bath towels. No caddy in shower for own products. This is not the owners issue but on the Thursday night a small dog barked 6pm to midnight. Not great after driving 10 hours. A microwave would have been a nice addition. Tried to make ice but on our departure day the ice hadn’t set

The room was too small but did the job. A refurb inside is needed, to be in keeping with the area. Window in Bathroom couldn't be opened. Security not good. Needs more/better locks on door and windows.

unfortunately the Wi-Fi was a bit poor in this room tucked in away from the Wi-Fi transmitter, but hey the room was clean neat and tidy, a bit tiny - next time if we stay in Cleveland we might will book a balcony room which overlooked the pool maybe a few extra dollars - main issue was no internet, staff were friendly and ok price almost acceptable

Currently a lot of construction in area so quite noisy, 14/5/24 construction should continue for at least 12 months. No dining options at motel but plenty not far from premises. Did not like step into bathroom and bathroom quite small. Good for a quick stay.

This place exceeded my expectations. Check in was very helpful and very friendly. They seemed pleased that I was there! My room was perfectly clean and appeared recently remodeled. Bed was comfy. There was a refrigerator and coffee setup with a little cookie. Restaurants are nearby, as is the ferry to the islands. It is a long walk from the train station. The pool is cold.
