Taking my 81yr old dad away I would have benefited from better photos as the property had more stairs than expected and outdoor steps were often uneven. His first and only go in the swimming pool was problematic and hit his confidence. The single bathroom and inability to flush paper in the toilet also presented inconveniences. The property was good but just not suited for our needs.

This is a homely house with an effective log fire if it's cooler and a lovely pool and outdoor living area when the weather is warmer. Sunset views each evening as the property looks towards the west. Lovely walking around Ponta do Pargo and the nearby Levada too.

We booked this looking for a quiet place to stay for our last week of vacation. And we loved it. The house if very private, has everything we needed and was very clean. The host was great, made checking in very easy.

We had a wonderful time! There were all of the necessary amenities to help (washing machine soap, toilet paper etc) and enjoy our stay. We enjoyed the pool and the surroundings. Being an hour away from the airport or Funchal was not a problem for us and we managed to tour the island and we had some wonderful activities.

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen hier verbracht. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Der Pool ist wunderbar. Unsere Kinder (7,9) waren zunächst ein wenig skeptisch, da es leicht salziges Wasser ist, haben ihn dann aber um so mehr geliebt. Man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick auf den Atlantik und es ist einfach nur ruhig. Ein Auto wird allerdings auf jeden Fall benötigt. Für die morgendliche Joggingrunde sind auch schöne Wanderwege vorhanden. Tolle und günstige Restaurants in der Nähe sorgen für ein sehr gutes Abendessen. Der Kontakt zu Mariana und Susana war sehr gut. Wir haben unseren Urlaub auf Madeira und besonders in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Für einen Familienurlaub ist dieses Haus perfekt. Es gibt sogar ein Spielzimmer, was unsere Tochter gerne zwischendurch genutzt hat.
