My partner and I had a perfect stay at Ocean Porto Beach House. We stayed for 5 nights and wish we had stayed longer! The hotel is beautifully decorated inside with a beachy vibe. We loved the heated outdoor pool and the free use of surfboards/body boards/bikes! Our room and communal areas were spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel is great, it is just a 5 minute walk from the beach and the metro stop is just around the corner from the hotel. It takes just half an hour to get the metro into central Porto and the metro is super cheap. Ocean Porto Beach House is perfect for wanting to spend the days at the beach and the evenings in the city, we loved it!

This property is a little gem. Direct transport into Porto and very straight forward. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble when we needed advice on how to get around. Ivo was often present very professional & kind. Even booked our trains to Lisbon and assisted us in being able to pay in cash as they used the hotels account which was a massive help. Throughout our stay Fatima was present cleaned our room doing breakfast providing anything we needed. Beautiful kind person. Has a beautiful well maintained garden area with a plunge pool & jacuzzi was so peaceful and lovely to relax in have breakfast outside or a glass of wine later on. We have no complaints or downsides whatsoever. We stayed twice hence the reviewing twice. We will be back.

Ocean Porto Beach House ist eine superschöne Unterkunft. Alles ist noch fast neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal und der Besitzer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Fahrräder und Surf-/Longboards werden kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Für uns war die Lage perfekt, weil wir uns Porto anschauen wollten, aber auch den Touristenmassen entfliehen konnten.

We've enjoyed the little hotel near the beach with the splendid inner courtyard with jacuzzi every day. Very friendly staff, very nice breakfast and easy access to go downtown. Uber is cheap in Porto as well. Will certainly come back whenever we ware in Porto, again.

Super sejour à Porto. Le lieux est très bien situé à côté de la plage de Matosinhos et des restaurants de poisson. Le centre-ville est à 40mn avec le bis 500. Chambre parfaite, petit déjeuner au top et petite piscine pour se détendre en fin de journée.

This property was gorgeous and so unique. It felt like a home away from home. It’s decorated beautifully and immaculately clean. The breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Ivo was very helpful and communicative during our stay. We wished we stayed longer.

Derrière l’immeuble une jolie petite terrasse avec piscine chauffée. Bon petit déjeuner. Chambres refaites, très bon lits. Belle adresse et rapport qualité prix très bon.

limpeza impecavel, cafe da manha bem delicia, staff sensacional. ficamos num quarto lindo, com mutio vidro e tinha blackout, porem nao estava funcionando, esse é o unico ponto que eu acho que vale pontuar, mas o hotel é muito gracinha , super bem localizado em Matosinhos, tudo limpinho, lindo de execlente gosto, check in rapido, sem complicações e as profissionais foram excelentes.

This area outside of Porto is the best of both worlds. The hotel itself was impeccable. Clean, spacious and exactly as pictured. Some people mentioned the noise of the trams but it really was fine—you can hear a soft rumble but no wheels screeching or horns. Would happily stay again

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, extremely well located, near great restaurants and the beach. The property is simply stunning. However, THE NOISE! Paper thin walls that damper nothing between floors or rooms. Unfortunate since the place is incredibly beautiful.

I was told we would have a garden view when in fact it was a bedroom on the third floor with no windows and quite isolated with a slanted ceiling that my husband kept hitting his head on. Wouldn't stay there again especially in that room anyway!

Location is good for restaurants and beach. Clean rooms but room 1 ground floor is a bit noisy at night when trams passing and room 6 top floor room ceiling too low. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. The property has been beautifully remodeled and the room was spacious with a wonderful en suite. Breakfast was delightful and the location was great! If you stay here, we HIGHLY recommend the restaurant Crivelli Restaurante Italiano. It is a total gem with delicious Italian cuisine created by Sergio Crivelli, the chef himself!

Outstanding week at Ocean Porto! Very charming boutique hotel with all the amenities one would want and an extremely warm and helpful staff. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The shower was second to none, and a luxury after a day scaling Porto's hilly terrain.

Great place to stay! The breakfast was lacking for sure! Only ate there the first morning, chose to dine out the second day. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and very comfortable. Would definitely go back.

10 stars all the way around! Ivo was a most excellent host. His pre-arrival instructions were thorough, he answered so many questions for me, found a pickleball court for my obsession, etc. The property is beautiful. You can tell much care, design and detail went into the furnishings. My room was so comfortable and had everything I needed. The pillows and shower were amazing. His pre-arrival instructions were thorough, he answered so many questions for me, found a pickleball court for my obsession, etc. The property is beautiful. You can tell much care, design and detail went into the furnishings. My room was so comfortable and had everything I needed. The pillows and shower were amazing. We had a great time at this hotel. Ivo and his staff were extremely welcoming and the hotel had a ton of attention to detail. With breakfast included every morning, as well as the bikes and pool for some relaxation, made it very easy to plan our time. Would definitely recommend!

This property is a little gem. Direct transport into Porto and very straight forward. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble when we needed advice on how to get around. Ivo was often present very professional & kind. Even booked our trains to Lisbon and assisted us in being able to pay in cash as they used the hotels account which was a massive help. Throughout our stay Fatima was present cleaned our room doing breakfast providing anything we needed. Beautiful kind person. Has a beautiful well maintained garden area with a plunge pool & jacuzzi was so peaceful and lovely to relax in have breakfast outside or a glass of wine later on. We have no complaints or downsides whatsoever. We stayed twice hence the reviewing twice. We will be back.

This is a lovely little guest house in an out of the way spot, around 30mins out of Porto by tram. If you’re looking for a relaxing location very close to the beach then you’ve found it! The pool is excellent, breakfast is very nice and the staff are very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. The property has been beautifully remodeled and the room was spacious with a wonderful en suite. Breakfast was delightful and the location was great! If you stay here, we HIGHLY recommend the restaurant Crivelli Restaurante Italiano. It is a total gem with delicious Italian cuisine created by Sergio Crivelli, the chef himself!

Accomodation was cosy, but we missed some place to lay down pur clothes in the room- no Chair no table, but ist was extremely clean- bed comfortable. Pool is a Mini Edition of what you expect regarding the photos. Breakfast so boring: no differences in one week! Egos always cold, one cheese and one ham all day- no legumes. Handling of juice and Müsli Not comfortable. Staff very good and helpful, public transports in a few metres , sea nearby but Dirty.

Erika and her assistant were extremely welcoming when we arrived at the hotel. They had snacks available in the afternoon and they fixed us a delicious boxed breakfast to take with us, as we had an early flight. The hotel is a few blocks from the beach, and we enjoyed walking around the waterfront. We had an amazing dinner at the Italian restaurant directly across the street! One of the best meals we had in Portugal. I highly recommend the hotel.

Very nice place to stay. Almost walked past it a few times. The sign on the house is small. Once inside house and everything wonderful. Great location. Tram runs next to house. I live in a large city so this didn’t bother me but white noise may be needed by others. My mom loved staying here
