Everything about the hotel was wonderful except 1 elevator was out of service the whole weekend. We had to wait awhile to get up or down bc of 1 elevator especially in the morning for check out time.

Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Valet parking is convenient. The one goofy issue concerns a treadmill in the hotel gym, which has made a horrible noise since I have been staying here (intermittently since 2022). Please either fix the motor or replace the treadmill. It is on the left as one walks into the gym. Thanks.

Used hotel Valet and thought the car would be safely parked. It was moved several times without our knowledge and parked illegally on the street on last night. All for $50/night. You can park yourself in a safe garage two blocks away for $20.

Aside from dirty bedding there was garbage on the floor, some spilled liquid all around the fridge, the toilet required multiple flushes for urine/toilet paper, the room smelled and in the hallway it smelled like a rotting, dead animal. The digital key wouldn't work nor would the digital checkout and the front desk always had a waiting line which amplified the lack of functioning digital services. The cleaning team should be fired but the front deak staff were extremely friendly. There were white stains on the brown bed skirt that gave me the heebie jeebies.

I checked into Room 508 on 6/19 and immediately noticed that the room was not perfectly clean. Unfortunately, matters became much worse after I took a shower: when the water drained, the entire bathtub was covered in someone else’s hair, as though the floor of a barbershop had been swept into it. It was revolting. The hotel manager gave us hotel points (equivalent to less than one night stay) and argued that this would be enough given that they cleaned the room during our stay. Of course we only stayed that first, and did not get compensated for the other nights.

The room was fantastic. We had the king suite with a beautiful corner view. The staff was amazing. Carlos was very accommodating. The roof terrace had a very nice view of the Loyola and the lake. Breakfast was good with mini- western omelettes. Very convenient location. I would definitely stay here. Again.

The pillows on the bed were terrible in both rooms. We had it was hard to get to sleep, and there were some whining noise coming from our air conditioner. Will kept you up a little bit and they won’t let me park my pick up in their back lot parking garage two blocks away. I went put in at all because it was too skinny. I don’t think I’d be coming back to this place.

Bed was too soft and sagging. There was not a flexible shower. There was not possible to crack out the window. Otherwise room was spacious, light and plumbing work perfectly.

We have stayed here before and loved it, and chose it again. Convenient location near the red line train. Friendly helpful service. Clean rooms. Great hot breakfast with a nice variety! Also fruit, yogurt, and bran cereal when you want to be healthy. Love the complimentary 24/7 self-serve tea and coffee station. Hot herbal tea is nice after coming back from a chilly Chicago evening walk. On site parking is expensive, as it is at any similar hotel, but a convenient cheaper parking garage is around the corner. Good restaurants and stores nearby. The Cambodian restaurant next door is great, and they gave us a discount when we said we were staying at the Hampton next door.

The staff here is always incredibly friendly and they all seem happy! Which means it's a good place to work, therefore a good place to stay. The breakfast is always good with many choices and it's only a 5 minute walk to a beach and a 5 minute walk to the redline! The hotel has been clean and the rooms comfortable every time I stay there.

Gerard was fantastic when we checked in about explaining how to manage the train which was 1 block away. Reena was AMAZING greeting us every day with a smile, conversation, advice about the area and taking care of any need!! And although i cant recall the exact spelling of her name, Mayla was terrific over the weekend with her food advice of Drippin Bites for burgers and Greek food close by. She also made sure Sunday and Monday stay was fun and eventful!!! Such a great location and STAFF!!! Have traveled for work for years and rarely get to stay for pleasure, this was the best staff ive ever encountered!!!

The property was is well located near transportation. I was in town to visit Wrigley Field and it helped having transportation nearby. Also it was cool being so close to Lake Michigan. I would definitely recommend this property.

This property is very convenient for University of Loyola-Chicago visits - it is right across the street! Standard, well run Hampton Inn location - clean, up to date, quiet, good service, and consistently decent breakfast. No signficant complaints and this is a good exeperience. Being near a large campus, there plenty walkable of food options. Of course their prices increase significantly for Loyala events. For ease of use I accepted it. As a likely 3-4 times a year visitor for the next 4 years, I may have to shop around a bit - but I have a strong preference for Hampton Inn properties. Valet parking is very convenient - easy, quick, removes the almost impossible task of self parking. It was $40/night, with in/out priviledges. Plus a tip if you are so inclined. Factor that into your budeting if you are driving. This location is right on the Chicago Transit red line rail service. Without traffic it is a 25 minute drive dowtown. With traffic, all bets are off. I'd recommend this location anytime for a Chicago stay.

Best location in Chicago. The hotel is 1 min walk from Loyola station. You are well connected to the rest of chicago theough CTA. Especially for Indians, the devon street is 8 min drive or 15 min by bus. Downtown chicago is 30min in CTA metro train. I recommend taking train to Downtown than bus.

Location was great. Only a few minutes away from the redline and a very short walk to the beautiful beach. Staff was attentive, very helpful and kind. Breakfast changed daily and overall cleanliness was excellent.

This us our 4th stay at this property. The cleanliness and staff are always fantastic. Our child goes to school at Loyola of Chicago which is directly across the street. The ease and convenience is unbeatable.

Nice hotel that was built around 2018. Very clean and well-maintained. Great location close to public transit and eating places. Parking is overpriced at near $50 a day. The complementary breakfast was good and plentiful. Overall good experience and I probably would stay again.

The lobby looks beautiful with the fireplace and Christmas trees, the room was nice with a nice sized bath with hot water. The free breakfast was delicious 😋. Loved the mini churro waffle, eggs and potatoes. The staff are all very friendly, giving my daughter and I great experience that wasn't going so well.

Very good value for the money. Staff was great, roomv was nice and breakfast was very good. Plenty of dining options especially reasonably priced ones like Chipotle and Pot Bellies subs.
