We really enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, our guest service was wonderful. But we were saddened by the fact there was no hot tub. And the pool was dirty. You could see things floating around in it and it was supposed to be heated. It was, but not to warm.

Only one of the 2 elevators worked. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Housekeeping did not replace empty kleenex box when cleaning room. Hot foods at breakfast were only room temperature and not very good.

Power was out most of the first day. Elevators were out of order so we had to walk 4 flights of stairs everytime. Kids running around randomly knocking doors. Not a great stay but hotel manager reached out to say they’d try to make it right but had to go through hotels.com bc that’s how we booked the room.

Front desk staff were lovely and very helpful, but the rooms need significant attention to cleanliness. The first room had heavy staining on the floor, dirty spots on the walls, and unclean bedding. The second room still had dirty socks left in the closet from a previous guest. The third and final room was acceptable, but overall, the experience was disappointing. The front desk staff was very apologetic and explained that carpets were being shampooed and that he would notify the manager, but I never heard anything from management. Unfortunately, due to the low overall cleanliness standards in the rooms, I would not stay here again.

The staff was excellent. I notified the front desk about the noise coming from the adjacent kitchen when preparing the breakfast options. My room shared a wall and there was also a sewer odor in the bathroom when the kitchen was in use. They offered to move me however I declined as I was leaving the next morning. The front desk made notes and assured me that it would be looked into.

The floor was disgusting. The brown wood floor was so filthy that socks and bare feet were immediately dirty. After the shower towels and feet looked like mud. Had to wash feet and change socks. I told the front desk.

I didn’t like the hard bed. The desk chair had huge stains all over it. The bathroom door was a sliding door and wouldn’t stay shut. The bathroom faucet was awkward and hard to control. The walls were very thin. Children running and yelling in the hall made it hard to read or watch TV. Instead of a dresser there was a small cabinet with 3 wire baskets!

When I walked through the door and was greeted right away, everything was great after that. That young lady was very professional, but very kind and warm to talk to. And many of the amenities that they had there was wonderful also. They have wonderful breakfast that comes with your stay. The room was excellent had a nice step in shower. The bed was very comfortable. The young lady that checked me and also check me out. She was very warm and wonderful person to talk to.

Karla at the front desk was awesome, friendly and professional! She did a fantastic job decorating the lobby, breakfast area, and entryway with over-the-top halloween decorations. It was really well done! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed themed decor. Our room was one of the nicest rooms we have had while staying in a hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the large walk-in shower was very nice. The breakfast was phenomenal too as there were so many options that even the pickiest eaters would find something to eat. From hard-boiled eggs, fresh waffles, and oatmeal to scrambled eggs, cold cereals, yogurt, and sweet breads, this breakfast had it all! Oh, and freshly brewed coffee too! We were so impressed with the facilities here we will be looking first to stay at Hampton Inn & Suites for future travel needs. This location was close enough to downtown Detroit (30 min to Little Caesars Arena) and quite a bit cheaper than staying right in Detroit. We would stay here again!

We had a very pleasant stay...everything from checking in/out to breakfast and the pool! Rooms were nice and cozy and we loved the size of the fridge. Our room was clean and welcoming. The hotel was very quiet while we were there and our kids got to enjoy the pool all to themselves! Breakfast had a good selection of food and it was all hot and yummy. Very close to lots of food and shopping options as well as some fun things to do. When cheer competition comes back to novi we will be sure to book here again!

We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns in our travels and visits. This one was the best. Room was the same as others— clean, comfortable, nice functional bathroom. We loved the shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel dispensers and the fact that they OFFERED us daily room cleaning if we wanted it (we did). I especially loved the skin moisturizer dispenser— forget those little squeeze bottles, which put too much plastic container in the trash. But the best part? The breakfast bar. Everything was exceptional, the hot eggs, meat, potatoes, nice coffee and tea choices, lots of toast, muffins, bagel choices, and a large pot of oatmeal— not those awful packets. And did I mention the waffle bar? Over the top! And the wonderful lady who tended the breakfast bar on the weekend— I give her 5 stars! A smile on her face and she works like the ever-ready bunny!

I made my reservation a week in advance. I booked a king suite and the hotel overbooked. We ended up with twin queen beds. The breakfast was terrible. I’ve never heard of chicken sausage. It was more like jerky!

Staff was super helpful. Karla was there to check us in. And Morgan was there during the weekend. And he was super helpful. Our floor was very quiet . Breakfast was tasty . Lemon poppyseed scone, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, juices, eggs , waffles, sausages, potatoes , yogurt. Lots of options for breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Showers were warm. We would totally stay there again. 5 stars from us.

This is truly a Hotel totally based on providing excellence! We were greeted by a friendly staff member and the room was very clean and totally inviting. The breakfast was great with a doting attendant wiping every crumb and drip and keeping everything fresh and full. We will definitely be staying here at our next visit! Thank You!
