The room was very nice, clean and spacious. I visited the work out room and was unimpressed. Wanted to do weight lifting-no option for that. In the morning I went to the complimentary breakfast around 8am mostly every option was gone. When I asked the staff will they be refilling. They told me yes and never returned.

We chose this property because of the proximity to the Union Station. It was about a 10 minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and was well lit. Lots of restaurants is the surrounding area that were walkable. Easy to get an Uber for further locations. Several stations for public transportation nearby. The hotel stay included a full breakfast bar, with a variety of items (hot and cold) and friendly staff. There is also a social every Wednesday evening with light appetizer type food, beer and wine. We stayed in a king suite with a sleeper sofa. The room was spacious and quiet. There were housekeeping services daily. We used the fitness center daily that had several options for cardio and free weights. There is a terrace and indoor pool, but no hot tub. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

we definitely enjoyed our stay here. views are beautiful, beds are comfortable, everything is easily accessible. check in was smooth. having the parking garage linked to our room was nice as well. the only issue we had was the parking garage itself. spots are limited and I assume it’s more limited on weekends. just be aware that the garage also has a one way exit. once you reach the top of the garage (and just so happen to find no parking) you have to turn around which can be difficult to say the least. overall our stay was very nice. we would book again.

Let me start off by saying the hotel itself exceeded most expectations. The employees were the best part; Annette, the hostess during breakfast was an exceptional example of how the staff went far and above what would be considered excellent customer care; very welcoming, answering questions, very knowledgeable. Downside: the whole parking scheme is a disaster, far too few spaces for guests, workers, and public, 2 and 1/2 levels with what seemed to be less than 50 spaces. No instructions on how to access the parking prior to coming and no mention of the extra charge in their Expedia listing (big no no in my eyes and really would be one of the first things I mention to anyone asking about the property). Afterwards the keycards did not work to get in and out, however quickly corrected by the exceptional people at the front desks. If the parking was not an issue I would have no problem giving the hotel a 9/10, could use a bit more types of cooking utensils in the room would be the only suggestion apart from being more transparent about the parking.

Everything was great except terrible terrible Parking. We were trying to let another car pass and although the corner seemed far away, the corner wall actually extends out about 2-3 inches at 4 or 5 feet below and you cant see it from inside your car and we ended up scratching our Telluride! Just ruined our whole trip!! Not to mention we have to fix the car now for who knows how much.

Very nice room and facilities. Staff very helpful. Room was fine, but bedcover was snagged - needed replaced. Half and half in kitchen was so old it had congealed - housekeeping should pay closer attention to these details. Nevertheless, I had a good experience overall and would stay there again.

This is a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Two notable areas of improvement needed...first, there was hair still on the sink and in the bathroom sink area drawers. It was visible so should have been caught by housekeeping. The most difficult part of the stay was the air handling in the room. The blower vent is located in an area that, when the air conditioning came on, it was loud and a blast of air is directed right at the bed. The blast of air and noise level woke us up several times during the night. Highly recommend that you place a diverter over the vent where the cold air comes out to redirect it into the room and not directly at the bed. Not sure what you can do about noise level but that would have been tolerable. The blast of air was the most problematic part of this. Thank you.

We were in room 1225. There must be some machine room or electricity room next to us. There was a loud motor sound the entire time. A whirring or even like the sound of a washing machine agitator going.....constantly! Had to turn tv up and sleep was interrupted.

This place made for an excellent base while visiting the city. Room was huuuuge for two people, comfortable, and the mini kitchen was useful. Area was close to a lot of restaurants and near a bus that would take you to the Magnificent Mile and connecting subway lines. The actual room was not in the best shape, a little on the older side, but was clean enough.

During my trip in Chicago I stayed both at Hyatt House suites and Homewood suites by Hilton, although they are direct competitors and the offer the same amenities, room layouts and facilities, hyatt house was much better and with a lower price point. Although the room at Homewood was very spacious, the furniture were pretty old and seemed run down and the bed, pillows and sheets were bad. We didn’t even have a duvet, but a very light and short cover, pillows were overused and felt thin and old and mattress was mediocre. I was very disappointed by the room condition, as it looked quite old as opposed to hyatt house were we paid much less and the furniture mattress etc were in excellent condition and as they should be. Other than that, the staff was pleasant and the neighborhood in walking proximity from the main attractions at west loop.

The hotel was awesome! Right in the area we needed to be, within walking distance to so much! Our only complaint was the bed was AWFUL! Springs in the back, couldn't get comfortable, thin, just awful. We asked about it at the desk and was told nothing they could do. For the price, I was expecting something a little better. I am pretty sure the pullout couch at my grandma's has a better mattress.

The room was nice despite the downtown noise that was seeping through the windows, a lot of car engines roaring up and down the streets (mostly at night), like they were racing or something. I couldn't see them, but I could hear them, which made me wish the windows were soundproof! but I guess a lot of noise is expected when you stay in downtown Chicago or any bustling big city for that matter.

Security after 10 om asks for the Hotel cards upon entrance. Employee was very rude and told me to get my ass in the elevator when i asked whats the attiude for. Also staff at the breakfast are not friendly. Terrible experience. Front dest at the check in was okay but any misunderstandings might trigger an attitude. Barely smiling as i had to break the ice to feel welcomed with my family. Only one staff tried to.make it better and gave us a free ice cream!

This day started off good, When we checked in our reservations were wrong for how many nights we were staying the room that we reserved wasn’t available and wouldn’t be available. manager said that she will cover our second night due to the moving of the rooms and reservations messed up. Come to find out She lied and we had to go somewhere else to stay. I don’t recommend anyone to go stay there and I will not be back

I came to visit with my family for the weekend in hopes of having a good experience. I paid EXTRA for a suite and was given the wrong room. I inquired about the room I was given, and even provided documentation, but the staff not helpful and tried to blame it on the website. They offered no solutions to the problem and were combative. I won’t be coming back.

Pleasantly surprised by our stay! My husband and I love to stay in the West Loop area when we visit the city and have tried many hotels. For the price and suite, this felt like a steal! The suite was extremely clean (my number one priority always) and spacious! Staff was friendly and the area is great! Walkable to major Fulton Market restaurants, bars, etc.

I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Chicago. The staff was great, the rooms were very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the location was easy to get to via the blue line train from O’Hare airport.
