The facilities are OK, but we felt it was too expensive for the cost of lodging without breakfast. We also felt that the staffs were not kind and friendly compared with the other Japanese inns or hotels we used. In addition, thee places for dinner or breakfast were scares near the hotel.

Staff and food were excellent. Property is old and needs upgrading. It rained overnight while we were there and the hotel leaked in corridors. Water everywhere in corridors and the stairs between floors. Rooms acceptable but not as clean as they should be. This hotel has a sister hotel across the street and that is where most of the facilities are, big onsen bath etc.

Located in Higashiizu, Shinyu no Yado Sazana is near the beach. Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park and Inatori Bunka Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Inatori Hosono Kogen and Izu Animal Kingdom. Oyukakebenzaiten and iZoo are also worth visiting.
