Great location and sweet hotel with lots of character and charm. I stayed here at the end of a long trip and mostly loved it, but they advertise laundry services and did not actually have laundry and it negatively impacted me. Room was also a little dark.

Front desk staff were not very friendly. Tried to ask for help with my luggage because the main street was closed off and I had 3 bags and they were rude about helping me. Also at the front desk the women were overall rude and didn't care to engage. Got locked out of my room before 2 hours before check out and the housekeeping woman was sweet enough to open my door - the front desk had no reason to why my room was locked. The surrounding area was easily accessible to the main attractions and shopping. No water kettle, fridge, or microwave in the room, which was annoying.

Artık en alt seviye otellerde bile su ısıtıcı bulunuyor. Su ısıtıcısının olmaması büyük bir eksi. Odanın pencereleri sadece avluya bakıyordu ancak oldukça güzel ışık alıyordu. It's bit small for 3 adults but nice accommodation. Main lift broke and didn't get fixed in a day. Staff are good but no chit chat or small talk. Just answered queries well. Over all, We loved Barcelona and enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very old and extremely moldy. We had to change our room because we could not take the smell of mold. The bad smell of this property is sick. First time we stayed at a hotel that does not have complimentary water and coffee for its guests smh. I wont recommend it to anyone.

The staff was good. The property was relatively clean. But, they desperately need a renovation. Water damage on the doors, plywood, furniture, bathroom door knob came off in our hand. Would not recommend without some major investment on their part.

Yes the room was very clean and well kept. Outlet for charger was not conveniently located in the room. Had to use the one in the bathroom. Staff was very courteous and helpful. It is a beautiful hotel. Would stay here again.

The building has lovely details but everything came from a place of "no." We asked for ice - sorry, ice machine broken, come back later; asked for towels - sorry, no towels available until the afternoon - wine glass? No (even though there's a restaurant and bar onsite). No washcloths, tiny bar of soap, no conditioner. They did set up a taxi for us to take us to the train and we liked the balcony. Hair on the bathroom floor at check-in and grout needs cleaning.

There is no airport shuttle. They call a taxi for you and it cost $70 to get to the airport. They provide only one bottle of water for two people for three days. I got bedbug bites on my ankles. The lobby was beautiful, but I saw saw a cockroach come in from the street. I wouldn't stay here again.

I was a solo traveler in one of their Single Rooms for 3 nights. While the hotel is interesting and in a great location, there are a couple of negatives that I can't ignore. The AC either was barely working on one of the nights there, or when it was it was only doing the bare minimum. Which is pretty bad considering August humidity there. The room wasnt humid per se but uncomfortably warm. The other negative was the doors. The doors lock system works fine for locking but unlocking can be tough sometimes. The first room I was in it was very hard to open it, and the 2nd room I was moved into I noticed the lock being permanently engaged but luckily I could still open it fine. The bed in the 2nd room was definitely not even as if there was a hole in certain parts of the mattress. Other than that the layout of the bathroom is narrow and the shower doesn't have anything to hold your shampoo while showering. Other than the above it was a decent stay

The best part of the hotel is its location - very hard to beat. I was shocked to be assigned a room with no usable window. While it was changed for day 2, I thought it should have been made clear with the booking.

The bedroom was immaculately clean! The staff was friendly and accommodating. AC was incredible. The walls were a bit thin from the room to the hallway as you could hear every voice or sound beyond the door, but the comfort of the room made up for it. Only thing I'd suggest is to have a bedframe around the mattresses, as it would stop them from sliding on the floor.

The property is in good location.The beach is walkable distance from the hotel (about half an hour). However, the rooms, compared to the price (very expensive) were very small. Also, the AC did not work and the room was very hot. After speaking with the front desk multiple times, they provided a small fan. After requesting room change, we were moved to another floor, next day, same situation, the AC did not cool the room, one part of room had cool air coming in from the AC. Metro & bus station close by.

The hotel was wonderful! We arrived early morning and dropped our luggage in storage. The front desk staff was so helpful at deciding at how to see Barcelona. They gave great recommendations for bus tours, food, and must see highlights. The hotel was clean, lovely, and beds were so soft and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here. Perfect location for all the places to see Barcelona. Would stay here again next time I’m in Barcelona.

Tuve que hacer late check out por un imprevisto de viaje. Le notifiqué por email al hotel desde las 9:00AM ese mismo día ya que les llamé varias veces por teléfono y no me contestaron. A la hora que regresé al hotel a recoger mi equipaje e irme, dos señoras me empezaron a regañar por haber llegado después de la hora de check out normal y me cobraron 50 EU (el costo del late check out en ese hotel es de 30 EU). Me enojé y les dije que esa no es manera de tratar a un cliente, aún así les pagué los 50 EU. Les dije que les había avisado por correo desde temprano, a lo que ellas respondieron que si me habían contestado (si contestaron pero hasta la 1:30 de la tarde, justo cuando regresé). Nunca me habían tratado así en ningún hotel en ningún país, nunca.

The hotel was clean and beautiful and our room was well appointed, spacious with comfortable beds. The location was terrific with proximity to shopping, restaurants, transportation and sites. There was a small mix up where Expedia pictured our room with a balcony, and there wasn’t one, but we still liked our room. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were not particularly friendly, especially the male evening staff member. His affect was ‘bothered’ and he was borderline rude to any guests approaching the desk. We do travel often, and this was not typical Hotel Customer Service behaviour.

Staff and hotel was great. Front desk member James was very attentive, he took care of breakfast, taxi, & general information. Hotel is clean, housekeeping fabulous, toiletries always replenished and bed nicely made- they even folded pyjama for my friends and placed them at them on the pillow. Location is perfect, close to everything yet off the beaten pathway which makes it quiet at night and no cars can travel in the alleys. Definitely will stay here again !

Excellent location in the middle of the prime tourist spot of Gothic quarters on Las Ramblas Ave - 5 mins from Placa de Catalunya and Barcelona Cathedral. Tons of food and shopping options within 5-10 mins walking distance of this hotel. Tip: no need to use Uber at this hotel. The local taxi stand is right across from Placa de Catalunya, and the metered taxies are always available, and they all accept Visa/Master card or cash. Very friendly drivers with transparent metered pricing.

Older property right by Catalunya Placa great for bus tram and airport bus less than 2 blocks away. Walking all over Gothic Quarter easy.. 10 minute walk to Catalan Music Theater( a must see) and 30 minute walk to Sagrada Familiar . Perfect location

Very professional staff. Great breakfast options for a reasonable fee. we were two families travelling and were given rooms close to each other connected by our own hallway so very private and quiet. Free water available. Provided information on transportation and arranged for a taxi to pick up at the front door during a very rainy day. Looks like a former palace and just off La Rambla. Nearby bus stop for Barcelonetta Beach and the shopping mall near Catalunya with the 9th floor cafeteria with great food and views of the city.

This hotel is in an older building and is very charming. The price reflects the fact that rooms are small and beds not that comfortable. However, it is clean and centrally located. It has its charm and our room was quiet. I would recommend the hotel but would skip the breakfast which is not tasty. There are many cafes within a short walking distance and that’s a better option for your first bite and coffee.

The property is in the older part direct next to the Ramblas. Thereby it is a great location. Rooms are okayish. All rooms are different, and ours was relatively small. Do not buy trips at the desk, but search and buy online: just the sagrada is difficult to get due to ticket scalpers. Avoid the breakfast: plenty of better and cheaper options within 5 minutes walk.

The room was clean and very comfortable. There was wide choice of breakfasts at super chap prices. The ambience of this old building was lovely. The staff were super helpful, pleasant and professional at the front desk and at the bar. The a/c was good. One minor point - for heavens sake ditch the little plastic bottles of soap and shampoo - most other hotels did this a decade ago. Little waste plastic bottles every day from every room are NOT GOOD.
