Hotel Risveglio was a great place to start our two week trip to Japan. A highly well decorated hotel, the rooms were spacious and well designed. We particularly enjoyed the bathroom area, which was cleverly designed in a long, narrow space. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel provided lots of amenities, including a hairbrush and hair dryer, toiletries and a safe for our more valuable items like money. The hotel is situated very close to Akasake-Mitsuke station, which meant it was convenient for travelling to many areas of the city. It is also close to a wide variety of restaurants and convenience stores. I would highly recommend Hotel Risveglio to all travellers.

Stayed in a suite as a family of 2 adults and a 10 year old child. Suite was a great size with 3 double beds and a seating area with a sofa and tv which was separated by a few steps and a black out curtain. Bathroom was large with a decent shower and a separate sunken bath tub. The location of the hotel is ideal, 5 minute walk to underground station. Lots of restaurants, bars and convenience shops close by. We would happily stay again.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, the room is smallish but well appointed with modern amenities. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and staff really helpful. They have a free espresso machine in the lobby with good coffee.

Good location a few minutes walk from two stations which allowed us to get anywhere within the main tourist areas of Tokyo quickly. Room was reasonable in size, the arrangement of the shower/toilet was strange but worked with the space available. Staff were friendly and free water refill downstairs was helpful. A convenience store a few doors down was great and recycling point for bottles and cans outside was helpful. The overall area would be great for anyone who wanted to stay out late.

Breakfast was awesome, served at the diner next door. Rooms were carpeted and not cleaned well (will cause issue for anyone with sensitivities), bed was extremely soft and saggy... Felt like sleeping in a V shape. Grout in bathroom missing many chunks and faucet was loose. Hallways not cleaned well. Location and breakfast were 5*... But deferred maintenance issues and half hearted cleaning puts it closer to a 2*

Compared to the other hotel I stayed in Tokyo for a similar price, this place was not as nearly as nice. I noticed some mold in the shower and scuffs on around the room. It just didn’t feel clean. Our in room refrigerator also did not work. However, the service and staff there were extremely helpful and kind.

I had a great stay at this hotel; clean and well-kept, which is important to me. The only issue I had is the light bulb in the room was cracked at the base, and it was taped together, and not with electric tape; clearly a fire hazard waiting to happen.

大変良かったですが，シャワールームに前の人の使用したあとの汚れが残っていたのが残念でした。 また，神宮球場へのアクセスを聞きましたが最寄りの地図もなく，調べますとのことでした。せめて近隣の有名施設へのアクセスくらいはすぐに答えられるようにしてほしかったです。

Location is great and the rooms are average size for the price for Tokyo. The bathroom was clean and the walk in shower was convenient. The bed was incredibly worn out however. It felt like sleeping directly on the box spring. Rotating the mattress helped, but only a little. The hotel is probably good for Japanese used to harder surfaces, but Westerners should avoid.

Great place to stay when visiting Tokyo. Quiet area but in a great location for getting around all of Tokyo as the metro is a 5min walk away. A bit of a hidden gem as the restaurants and shops nearby are great and out of the tourist hotspots. Hotel was perfect - large rooms (for Japanese standards) with a great bathroom and facilities. Off the main street so extremely quiet. Very clean too. Would highly recommend for any couple as well as families.

Staff spoke English and was very helpful. Great location 2 blocks from subway station Akasaka-Mitsuke. Tons of restaurants and bars, small food market, 7-11, etc. Hard to find hotel here with multiple douuble beds, so we were happy to find this one.

Small room (we had a Hollywood Twin), but everything else about the hotel made up for any lack of space. The hotel is very quiet, and you hear nothing from the street. The neighbourhood has oodles of restaurants and conveniences, and it's located just a couple blocks from the metro station. The walking instructions that were sent by email a couple days before were a lifesaver after our overseas and jetlagged flight. I enjoyed the variety of options with the included breakfast, and the front desk also provided dining recommendations for other meals. Small, minor complaint was that there was often no one at the front desk when we were coming and going. Other than that, thanks for a wonderful stay in Tokyo!

Smooth check-in process. All of the staff were super friendly. We had breakfast included which had good sized portions and a nice variety of Japanese and American style foods. Room was cozy but comfortable and exactly what we needed. Excellent location near Akasaka-Mitsuke station and easy quick access to areas like Shinjuku and Shibuya.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours after check out so we could explore before heading to the airport. The room was nice, it was a little small but the shower was spacious which more than made up for it. There's a little restaurant next to the hotel which had delicious food that tasted like it was home made. The station is only about a 5 minute walk and there's tons of restaurants in the area.

Great place to stay when visiting Tokyo. Quiet area but in a great location for getting around all of Tokyo as the metro is a 5min walk away. A bit of a hidden gem as the restaurants and shops nearby are great and out of the tourist hotspots. Hotel was perfect - large rooms (for Japanese standards) with a great bathroom and facilities. Off the main street so extremely quiet. Very clean too. Would highly recommend for any couple as well as families.

Good location a few minutes walk from two stations which allowed us to get anywhere within the main tourist areas of Tokyo quickly. Room was reasonable in size, the arrangement of the shower/toilet was strange but worked with the space available. Staff were friendly and free water refill downstairs was helpful. A convenience store a few doors down was great and recycling point for bottles and cans outside was helpful. The overall area would be great for anyone who wanted to stay out late.

Very close to the metro station and well connected to major shopping areas and tourists attractions. Surrounded by nice restaurants, Japanese cosmetics stores/ pharmacies, and 24-r convenient store. The room is small though, just like those typical room sizes of hotels alike in Tokyo.

The hotel is in a great location close to the station and local restaurants. The hotel itself is quite nice. However upon checking in I was asked to pay an additional tax (only about £2), which I thought had already been paid when I booked this place on Expedia. Breakfast options are in the restaurant next door, there are 6 options but only 1 option is vegetarian. All the options were tasty except for the Japanese breakfast which was surprisingly poor. The rooms are small, though I was expecting this to be the case. The shower facility is excellent, warm water and great pressure. Air conditioning was decent, though on hotter days (about 21 degrees) we found the A/C to be lacking a little. The bed was comfy and every night was a good nights sleep.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, the room is smallish but well appointed with modern amenities. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and staff really helpful. They have a free espresso machine in the lobby with good coffee.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel staff were all very nice and spoke English. Breakfast was included (not sure if it always is) and was quite good. There were 6 options to choose from, some Japanese style, some western style. We had kids with us and both kids found options they liked. There were a lot of restaurants in the area, 7 eleven is across the street and the metro was a quick walk away. We would stay at this hotel again.
