The Aurora Inn Hotel and Event Center

Stayed in the "pet wing", lower-level space for which the hotel tacks on an extra $80 per night. Tiny room, very dated. Bathroom even smaller. No way to navigate sink/toilet/towel rack without hitting something. Linens worn out. TV not smart. Internet very slow. Window, sill, screen filthy. The room did include a cheap plastic dog bowl. The bar and restaurant are fabulous. But I'd never stay in the hotel again nor recommend it to anyone.

Yes... Not a big deal but the shower head was about 5 feet and I'm 6'1.. quite low LOL. Check-in staff excellent friendly!! Bar staff was nice but they were all business

Had a great weekend staying here. Between the kind staff that were all lovely to talk to, the beautiful indoor pool, and spacious room it was a good time the whole time. We definitely plan to stay next year when we come for our event again.

Great little Inn. We loved the building, the room and the restaurant/tavern. The staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint is we were waiting for people to leave the fireplace area so we could sit there and have a drink. We finally got the opportunity and the owner of the end came over and asked us to move so if someone else could sit there. Very disappointing! We had looked forward to sitting there to enjoy a drink and conversation, so it was a very rude to ask us to get up so that another group of people could sit there. Maybe he could’ve offered us a drink or something to thank us? Just felt very rude and we were so disappointed in that.

This place was perfect for my wife and I as we were in town from Mississippi to visit our grandchildren. Location was great, property was so quaint, very quiet, and we loved the bar! Every staff member was so nice! We will be back next year to stay again! You can consider us regulars!! See you next year!
