Loved the decor and proximity to Wrigleyville without being stuck in the middle of the crazy crowds. The queen suite was huge and quite comfortable. Loved the free popcorn and lounge area. If you have large luggage be aware that the elevator is pretty small, but that's typical of a 125-year old hotel.

Lovely historic building in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to Wrigley Field! Rooms were quaint and cozy with nice bedding and bath robes. In-room Courtesy bar and snacks were reasonably priced. While there wasn't in-room coffee, complimentary fresh brewed coffee is available in the lobby. Staff was friendly and efficient as was the parking garage staff. Guests park right around the corner at a reduced rate in a secure parking garage. While a little more expensive than some hotels, the perk was being super close to Wrigley Field and restaurants. You can park your car in the garage and walk everywhere! We would stay here again.

Arrival at the Majestic can be a little challenging. It may be necessary to parallel park, and there are only two, maybe three "loading" places in front of the hotel. The parking garage is around the corner ... probably a 5-6 minute walk. Parking is an extra $25 per day, plus tips for the valet. It does seem safe and secure and was always very accessible. Room 108 was tiny. Everything was pretty nice. It was quiet and clean. The entrance to the hotel is not ADA accessible. Several steps. Just a heads up. If you book through Hotels.com or another third party get a confirmation of your rate per night. We ended up being charged about $50 per night more than we had expected from our reservation. The hotel referred us to Hotels.com to try to access a refund. by the time we got our invoice there was no evidence on our Hotels.com portal of the price we had seen at the time of the reservation ... only the price we were charged by the hotel. Not sure how that will turn out.

We spent one night here for a concert in boystown/wrigleyville area. The property is very cute and the Wrigley theming is tasteful and fun. Parking is in a garage behind the building, about a 3 min walk, and an attendant takes your car and parks/retrieves it for you. For $25 a day you get in/out access for 24 hours. Super close to lots of food and recreation! Ubers were $7 or less to wrigleyville (on a Tuesday night in March). The room was super small but I think that's to be expected. Also some remodeling noise early in the morning. Otherwise we were comfortable and the room was clean. Would like to see more than 1 bath towel per person (normally I use two).

Great place to stay if you dont need to park. If you need to park thats a whole different situation as the parking is in a different building run by different people. If you dont have alot of things with you then maybe its not so bad. but anything more than 2 bags and its a whole production. Just be prepared to do some walking if you need to park. I took off one star because the parking situation is so atrocious.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was easily walkable to many areas including Wrigley Field, Lincoln Park and numerous restaurants and grocery stores. There is no breakfast but there is coffee all day long. The $25 dollar covered parking was well worth it. Front desk employees were friendly and helpful.

Super cute location! Loved the neighborhood and the decor inside the hotel. The elevator is OLD. Like barely fits two people. There is parking offered for an extra $25 on top of your stay. Front desk was okay, nothing noticeable in service (good or bad). The rooms… yuck. Stained carpets, hair in the bathroom, dusty everywhere and the worst… previous guests tow nail clippings on the floor by the bed. Gross. Won’t stay here again,

Our trip was great. Unfortunately, the parking situation is less than ideal. We are from a small town and had no idea how valet parking worked. The workers in the parking garage will not help you or explain how the parking works. One worker called us names when trying to get out of the parking garage. Overall, the parking was the worst thing. When we went to leave, we found items left behind by previous guests, under the bed. We hadn’t checked when we arrived, as we assumed everything thing would be clean. It was not. One item was a pair of underwear.

Filthy place. Smelled like cigarettes in the alcove and down the steps. Carpet was dirty and pulling away from carpet strip. Wallpaper in the room had something on it. I don’t want to venture what it was. The mattress cover was ripped in a foot long hole. The shower head had black mold/fungus and the tub drain was clogged. Booked for 2 nights, endured it for 1 (slept in my clothes on top of the bed bc I was so disgusted) and checked out very early the next morning. Don’t stay here.

Really cool baseball theme with excellent decor in a nicely remodeled old building. Staff was very friendly and they offer popcorn and coffee. The walls must be very thin though because we heard a man snoring all night. Water temperature is hard to regulate in the shower, but other than that the stay was great! Really good location too!

Not like it used to be. No breakfast since Covid. No newspapers. Rooms renovated but the furniture in our suite was uncomfortable. No coffee table. No table for eating. Fridge still causes the food to freeze. AC still very noisy. No storage space in bathroom. Positives: nice street. Convenient to Wrigley.

Great location and proximity to Wrigley Field and Boystown with so many LGBTQ+ friendly businesses. The property is older with the charms that come with it and a lovely neighborhood. The mattresses and pillows were worn out and not comfortable. Our mattress was very concave and sunk in the middle. Little things needed repair like the toilet paper roll holder and the desk leg. The elevator was very small so we took the stairs most of the time. Not a good property for people with mobility issues. The suite had good space for our family of 4 to spread out and liked having the little fridge and sink area. The grocery store is very close by and loved hanging at Rocks for drinks and bar-type food. The price was good at the Majestic but not the nicest or fanciest place.

The Majestic Hotel was in a perfect location for us, close to our daughter’s home and the lake. We made a poor choice of a room. Our queen bed seemed small (we have a king) and the room was tiny. It was clean but the AC was incredibly loud when it came on (husband liked the “white noise”). The shower was difficult to turn on. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We may consider the Majestic again, but take a larger room with a larger bed.

All of the staff were helpful and accommodating. I felt welcomed right from the beginning. The parking attendant was amazing and went above and beyond. This will be my first choice hotel for future trips to Wrigley!

The staff at the front desk did not communicate that the parking fee would be removed from the $100 credit card hold for incidentals. The garage has a sign that said cash only. I paid the garage directly $60 in cash. I contacted the hotel about the $50 not returned to my card. I was told a manager would call me back. It's been 5 days with no call and no refund of the $50.

Room was not made up. No towels.. when I asked to have the bed made and towels brought to me I was told there’s nobody you can do that. When I said to the clerk that I can’t imagine paying $140 a night for a room and two out of four nights, my bed was not made I was down to told the clerk, I was told “ if I don’t like it, I can leave” This hotel is not known for its service or the comfort of the rooms

The front desk staff were extremely helpful after our room key would not work on our door! The staff helped us pack and change suites. Options were given to us on local restaurants, and we had some delicious pasta and sandwiches for some late night room service. We checked out the next morning. The rooms were comfortable although outdated. The beds were very comfortable. Two TVs were nice for a family. Would stay again!!!

The hotel is conveniently located, clean and in a quiet neighborhood but the Serbian Front Manager is rude..condescending..profiling me as if im someone who will trash her hotel.The worst costumer service and i git a VIP pass from Expeda.Her treatment to m me was unprofessional and uncalled for.

Stayed here instead of dealing with traffic after a Cubs night game and it was worth it! The staff is super nice and helpful and the location is excellent to use as your base to explore the city.

Great location and proximity to Wrigley Field and Boystown with so many LGBTQ+ friendly businesses. The property is older with the charms that come with it and a lovely neighborhood. The mattresses and pillows were worn out and not comfortable. Our mattress was very concave and sunk in the middle. Little things needed repair like the toilet paper roll holder and the desk leg. The elevator was very small so we took the stairs most of the time. Not a good property for people with mobility issues. The suite had good space for our family of 4 to spread out and liked having the little fridge and sink area. The grocery store is very close by and loved hanging at Rocks for drinks and bar-type food. The price was good at the Majestic but not the nicest or fanciest place.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Nestled in a residential neighborhood of Wrigleyville, it kept an old-school charm that matched the neighborhood, while having spacious rooms that you’d expect from a hotel in the heart of the city. The location is incredibly walkable, with food and nightlife aplenty within a small radius. I will definitely consider this my first booking when I visit Chicago again!

A great location for Lake Michigan and walking to Wrigley field. Both are short easy walks. Area is safe. Staff is friendly. The hotel is an older building but is clean. We would stay here again

The hotel lobby is probably better if you enjoy baseball history, but the hotel is old, dark, and very small rooms. It was an easy walk to Wrigley. The room smelled like mold or rotten water. It was very humid. The room we were in was by the elevator so there was a lot of noise. For what you pay, there’s no free anything. There are NO frills. The water in your room (along with all of the snacks and drinks filling the fridge and leaving NO room for your own) all cost quite a bit. There’s not a fitted sheet on the bed and ceiling fan rocked so hard I was afraid it would fall down. The tv remote buttons didn’t work well. The door lock worked once every 5-6 swipes to get in. Do NOT order room service. It’s outsourced and never showed up and I’ve yet to be refunded. We called 3x during the order to only end up still hungry and nothing the lobby could do to help. It is better to DoorDash. We were allowed early check in but there’s also $100 being held on my card on top of the prepaid room fee.

Not like it used to be. No breakfast since Covid. No newspapers. Rooms renovated but the furniture in our suite was uncomfortable. No coffee table. No table for eating. Fridge still causes the food to freeze. AC still very noisy. No storage space in bathroom. Positives: nice street. Convenient to Wrigley.

Lovely historic building in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to Wrigley Field! Rooms were quaint and cozy with nice bedding and bath robes. In-room Courtesy bar and snacks were reasonably priced. While there wasn't in-room coffee, complimentary fresh brewed coffee is available in the lobby. Staff was friendly and efficient as was the parking garage staff. Guests park right around the corner at a reduced rate in a secure parking garage. While a little more expensive than some hotels, the perk was being super close to Wrigley Field and restaurants. You can park your car in the garage and walk everywhere! We would stay here again.

This cozy hotel has a rich history plus being near Wrigley Field, has a baseball themed decor. It is a charming spot. I do wish they had a light offering of breakfast items. They only have coffee and popcorn. But restaurants are a short walk away.

Was a baseball weekend with the Cardinals playing the cubs! Great place to stay - baseball themed. Staff friendly and helpful. Although no breakfast provided, coffee and tea available and coffee was great. Restaurants within walking distance Will definitely recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at the Majestic. The room was larger than expected, beds were comfy and room was clean. A beautiful Victorian building that is well kept and clean. We had no complaints. This was in a quiet, peaceful area where people walked their dogs and jogged down the street. We will definitely be back.
