The hotel is very close to North Gate which is great when carrying bags. The rooms are centered around a courtyard which is lovely. The staff are very helpful and we even received a gift bag on departure

Located just inside the old city so close to the sights, restaurants etc. Boutique style. Staff were friendly and welcoming but don’t expect much English spoken. There’s just enough for basic checking in etc although written messages pre check in were very useful. A driver was arranged for me to pick up and drop off at station at a cost of CNY30 each way.

We were very well accommodated at Elsewhere Boutique Hotel. They provided us a map and mapped out a route for us to follow to get the most out of the ancient city. They heated the room well while we were out so we came back to a nice warm room. The room was tidy and clean.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful, very clean and the staff is like no other. They really helped us during our stay and were super nice.
