MOB HOTEL Paris Les Puces

The staff were awful except for Chris the night porter he tried to be helpful. Thank you Chris. . Before booking we called the hotel and specifically ask about changing points which we were reassured were available by the receptionist. We then booked the hotel . Upon arrival we discovered the charging spaces were blocked with kitchen equipment and an electric trolley full of empty drinks crates so we had to move them ourselves. Then we realised the charging points required a house hold plug to use which we were not informed of. If we were told this we would not have booked the hotel. We spoke to Chris the night porter who reassured us an adapter was available at a sister hotel and would be available for us to use the next morning. We then asked Chris for a late check out to allow us time to charge our vehicle as this method can be slow sometimes, he kindly gave us a 3 PM check out thank you Chris . Unfortunately the next morning we were told bye the receptionist this would not happen, she was remarkably unhelpful and unpleasant and offered no solution, but reminded us we got a free extended check out . Finally when checking out we were 30 minutes late 3.30 and told by the receptionist that we needed to leave the room straight away, which we did . After taking our car from the car park I expressed my disappointment with the manager lady about the charging points to which she said it has never been a problem and again reminded me we got a free late check .Thank you

Spent two nights with two bookings because of lack of availability on Hotels.com. From check in to check out it was a big confusion at the reception. At checkin we wanted to sort all the payment for the rooms and the tourist tax for both nights so we did. A couple of hours later we got a call from the reception asking us to come down and pay, apparently one room was not paid even though I asked when we arrived. So we went down to pay. The next morning when checking out of the first room the receptionist said the tourist tax is not paid. We had a discussion, showed the payment on our bank, she showed the computer and it ended with her apologising saying it was a mistake by them, everything is paid. We had problems with the parking garage. We were able to book for one day but not the next. The receptionist instructed us to sort it on their ipad in the reception, it did not work when we arrived, nor in the evening or the next day. The receptionist assured us that this is no problem and it will be sorted when we check out. At check out the last day the receptionist ask how our stay was. I said that it was good exept for the garage and the confusion with payments. He answered “it will get worse”. Again we had the discussion about tourist tax. We ended up paying for tax for tree nights on our bank but for two in their system. After me expressing that I was not happy we got the parking for one night free and 50 cent discount for drinks when using my 10 € voucher. Not impressed!

Lovely clean room, friendly staff, great bar with lovely cocktails and pizzas

Clean room, terrace was nice but webs here and there. Check in and out was smooth, very easy to get there on train and to your room. Favorite space was the public second floor terrace, a nice space to grab a pastry from one of the places walking distance away and relax.

Our stay at MOB HOTEL Les Puces was overall just ok. I’ve stayed here in the past, and unfortunately a few things have changed over time. The hotel and rooms are starting to feel a bit dated and could definitely use some updating and maintenance. For example, the phone jack in our room was completely broken, so anytime we needed assistance or had questions, we had to physically walk down to the front desk. One thing I previously appreciated was the refillable water bottles in the room, but when I asked this time, I was told they were no longer available. For such a small gesture, it’s disappointing not to offer complimentary water to guests. Another issue was the temperature in the room — it was extremely hot, and there’s no way to control the air conditioning from inside the room. We had to ask reception to turn the heat off, only to be told the hotel was only running heat at the moment. The hotel does have a nice outdoor seating area connected to the restaurant, which appears to also function as a wedding or event venue. There’s also an on-site restaurant, although we did not dine there during this stay. One small thing that stood out was that cappuccinos for hotel guests are charged at around $5. In my opinion, complimentary or at least discounted cappuccinos for guests would be a thoughtful touch. The staff overall did not seem especially accommodating or warm during our stay.
