My Place Hotel-Council Bluffs/Omaha East, IA

The hotel is in good condition. It’s in an area with lots of arena and sport venues nearby. The shower is great. Lots of parking. Noise from the hallway is not silenced very well. The staff at check in was very personable.

The check in was very easy and they were very friendly. The room was comfortable and had a kitchenette which would be great for an extended stay person. However, we noticed in the morning that the bank of outlets by the stove for the coffee maker were not working. There was a fuse box in the room to reset the outlets. When we flipped the breaker, it flashed red. We left it off as to not start a fire in the room.... No coffee. We also noticed that in the shower, there was empty shampoo and conditioner. Thank goodness my husband was able to grab mine to use.

First room the bathroom plugs didn't work! They sent a repairman who spoke very little English. The breakers would trip every time you plugged something in. He asked if we wanted a new room! We said yes. They gave us a handicap room. That was all they had left a 9:30pm. So not exactly what we had a reservation for. These hotels have little kitchens but supply you with nothing. So, it doesn't do you any good to have the kitchen! They have no breakfast either! Won't ever stay at this hotel or Myplace hotels again!!

My family and I always have a great stay plus with a kitchenette. I get to travel economically as I get to cook for my family.

Great place, we came for the Berkshire Hathaway event but we did felt too far from the event
