Hotel is in a great location to all the main attractions of Great Yarmouth. The hotel is nice and our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has parking which they allowed us to use both days for a 1 night stay which was an added bonus

On website it’s stated that it has a garden but this is not true. No garden at the hotel. The sink was very small so a bit inconvenient to use. The location was brilliant. Walking distance to beach and shops. Friendly and helps staff

Lovely welcoming to the Marine Lodge, excellent location with being in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, take outs and shops. Lovely full English breakfast is served in the lodge. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Exterior is in need of a lick of paint and refresh but that all costs so much. Did not make any difference to our stay of course. Great being able to park at the lodges parking for free. I took my own fan for the room, did not ask if they had any as I was happy to provide my own. Would recommend to take your own toiletries and not rely fully on lodges. I also took hot chocolate sachets for my children which I am glad I did as we only had tea and coffee. Also for a family room only two biscuits where provided when there was four of us. Was not a problem at all as we brought our own snacks. But something I noticed. Lovely big towels provided in the room with a hairdryer. Comfortable beds. Would return. Thank you.

Our stay was really great staff were friendly and welcoming onsite car parking excellent room was great and service and breakfast excellent. The hotel is ideally placed for everything the beach and pier are just a 2 minute walk along with the shops, pubs and places to eat. They have a lovely patio area out the front with views of the pier and beach, we arrived early and parked with no issues and on arrival although we couldn’t check in we were told we could use the hotel facilities which was brilliant. Overall our stay was fantastic breakfast was excellent and the staff were brilliant we will definitely be staying again.

The Marine Lodge is situated in a perfect location. It was very clean, the food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is securely locked by an inner door which helps to keep it safe. We had free onsite parking which is a blessing. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Great Yarmouth.

Nice hotel very close to everything. 5 min walk to Joyland. Plenty of free parking on site. We had a double sea view room. It was a bit small and up in the eaves, bumped my head once, but it was certainly adequate for our 2 night stay. Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits too! Breakfast was really good and there was a nice little bar area too where you could also sit outside. Would stay again.

This hotel consistently maintains a high standard of cleanliness, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and polite, always striving to exceed expectations in meeting guests needs. With ample complimentary onsite car parking and reasonably priced food with generous portions, it comes highly recommended. I definitely returning.

The hotel is a lovely old building on the sea front. We booked a double room and paid extra for a king size bed. The room was very clean but there was a smell in the bathroom. Maybe the drains need cleaning. The bed was ok but the room a little small. The kettle had limescale so needed descaling.

We had a lovely overnight stay, just myself and my husband. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who showed us the ropes, spoke to us about the area and services available. Our room was super clean and comfortable, with a lovely view (Room 11). As it was a midweek stay it was super quiet, just what we needed.

Great staff, and well kept throughout. Only things that let it down a little we're the quality of the breakfast (cheap OJ - seemingly watered down, not the greatest quality of sausages, etc.; not great given the price), the soggy ultra soft mattress, and a shower curtain that eats you alive whilst attempting to shower.

Saw plenty of 5 star reviews before I booked, but I’m guessing they didn’t stay in our room (apparently the smallest on the second floor). I’m also guessing they didn’t bring a cat, because they’d have no room to swing it. Add to that an ill-fitted toilet seat, the sauna-like conditions, and the creakiest, wobbliest bunk bed in the world (we ended up putting the top mattress on the floor), and you’ve got a recipe for sleepless nights. Nice shower though.

Disappointed overall rated as a 4 star but the room was tiny and oppressive no water provided in room and a small selection of tea and coffee also didn't sleep all night because of a loud humming noise from the room I won't be using Expedia anymore I was expecting breakfast for the price I paid for the room

Nice hotel, good position in relation to the sea front. Food was nice but quite expensive. Rooms were a bit dated but fine for us - was a lot cheaper than other places so generally very happy Generally a good stay, polite staff with parking on site.

Brilliant stay . One tiny issue with the radiator not going off but even though it was 10.30 pm the chap on reception came straight up and sorted it for us . Breakfast was delicious and service very friendly . Would definitely recommend the hotel and we will be returning.

It was the first time we brought our baby Grandson. Nice hotel with good parking spaces, very friendly and inclusive environment, the staff has loads of time and patience.

Surprisingly good! And very friendly! Got upgraded to a sea view room, and we had a drink in the bar and on day of check out the guy allowed us to leave the car in the car park whole we went the day at Yarmouth and said we could leave it there as long as possible. (Very greatful) Shower room was amazing and room was very clean in general. We would 100% stay here again

We had a lovely stay, staff were attentive and happy to help when asked any questions. Great location too. Breakfasts were very good cooked fresh on ordering. Can not fault Marine Lodge at all.

Hotel is in a great location to all the main attractions of Great Yarmouth. The hotel is nice and our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has parking which they allowed us to use both days for a 1 night stay which was an added bonus

The Marine Lodge is situated in a perfect location. It was very clean, the food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is securely locked by an inner door which helps to keep it safe. We had free onsite parking which is a blessing. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Great Yarmouth.

Nice hotel very close to everything. 5 min walk to Joyland. Plenty of free parking on site. We had a double sea view room. It was a bit small and up in the eaves, bumped my head once, but it was certainly adequate for our 2 night stay. Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits too! Breakfast was really good and there was a nice little bar area too where you could also sit outside. Would stay again.

Great staff, and well kept throughout. Only things that let it down a little we're the quality of the breakfast (cheap OJ - seemingly watered down, not the greatest quality of sausages, etc.; not great given the price), the soggy ultra soft mattress, and a shower curtain that eats you alive whilst attempting to shower.

Nice hotel, good position in relation to the sea front. Food was nice but quite expensive. Rooms were a bit dated but fine for us - was a lot cheaper than other places so generally very happy Generally a good stay, polite staff with parking on site.

Jodie at Marine Lodge was very helpful with advising somewhere to eat out in Great Yarmouth. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was hot and cooked to a very high standard. I will definitely go back to this Hotel again it was excellent value for money.

Property was located right on the beach excellent location to all local attractions. Went with my husband and daughter. Staff were lovely, I extended my stay for another day and the staff they were so helpful. Made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was lovely and the parking was great right outside the property with plenty of parking in the back. In fact they even let us leave our car in the car park even after we had checked out, so we got the extra parking for the rest of the day. Will definitely book again.
