Centurion Hotel Classic Nara Station

The laundry room is conveniently on the 4th floor where we stayed. Since it is public, the risk is someone removing your items before you go claim it so I lost some socks due to another guest not removing everything fully from the machine I was using. The dryer definitely needs multiple runs so I wouldn’t suggest heavy fabrics going in. The hotel has a board of cards for items you need (stool, ironing, hair straight, dvd player w/ anime collection nearby). They offer a number of amenities at the front if you forget your razor or toothbrush and other things. There’s a great dry footbath at the entrance to refresh tired feet. The front desk helped us book luggage forwarding to our next hotel for us. It’s very affordable and convenient.

建物自体は新しくなかったですた、騒音は全く気になりませんでした。 スタッフも親切丁寧でした。 特に困ったことはありませんでしたが、強いて言えばホテル裏の駐車場が最近の車のサイズに対して狭かったことぐらいです。 近鉄奈良駅、JR奈良駅、どちらも歩いて10分以内で、立地条件も良かったです。

駐車場は無いので、車の方は近隣駐車場に駐車ですね。

スーペリアダブルルームを2泊利用しました。 JR奈良駅寄りのロケーションだが、近鉄も徒歩圏内だし奈良旅行には便利でした。 朝ご飯の6種類のカレーも美味しくいただけました。 強いて言うなら、エレベーターが1機しかないので、朝やチェックインタイムはかなり待つのが難点かな。

It was nice and clean! And they had laundry room on the 4th floor. The foot bath on the first floor was a nice touch when coming back from a long day of walking all over the town! Staff was very nice, too!

Tres bon hôtel que je recommande, confortable, accueillant et avec une launderette super pratique. Le personnel est tres sympa et on peut même louer des affaires gratuitement (fer à boucler, à lisser...etc). Il est bien situé et ils ont des décoration mignonnes!

スタッフさんの対応や石の足湯が疲れた足を癒してくれて、とても良かったです。JR奈良駅にも近くて便利でした。

The design of the room is not good especially entering the toilet. The carpet of the room is little old. However, it is a good hotel. Free bottles of water and bathing salt are provided. You can enjoy the sand foot bath.

建物が新しく、内装、設備などもキレイ。駅から少し歩くが、遠くはない。春日大社などからは少し離れている。無料のお菓子や濡れない足湯など、いろいろサービスが多かった。全体的にコンパクトな作りになっていて、ロビーなどは小さめ。

とても清潔なホテルです。奈良旅行の定宿にさせていただきます

Clean room, central location

Staff were friendly and great. The room was not. Stained pillowcases floors etc…

The carpets were not exactly clean. There was no coffee or breakfast at 9am. Staff was ok. The bathroom in the room was interesting you had a full step up to get in. Everything seemed very used and old. The one thing I will say is that the beds and comforter were the super comfortable if you like firm beds.

Hôtel pratique car situé tout près de la gare et des transports, mais le quartier autour n’est pas très agréable ; avec le recul, j’aurais préféré loger plus près des rues commerçantes. Ce qui m’a surtout dérangée, c’est le manque de propreté et l’odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain, où j’ai trouvé des cheveux qui n’étaient pas les miens. L’état général de l’établissement est également assez usé, avec de nombreuses traces et marques visibles dans les parties communes. On sent que l’hôtel est très fréquenté, mais l’entretien ne suit pas. En revanche, le lit était confortable, ce qui reste le plus important : j’ai bien dormi.

Bathroom is very dangerous. The big step in as mentioned is a hazard. The size of the bathroom is barely the size of portable bathrooms (porta potties) and the sink is basically in the bath tub. Height is impossible for anyone taller than 5’ 10”. Step in to the tub is also incredibly high. The rooms are also very dated, and as mentioned the sofas need to go. Staff pleasantry and helpfulness was a mix. Early morning staff was excellent to help us with the luggage transfer. The ones that checked us in though was a little rough.

お部屋は綺麗で掃除も行き届いてる感じです。 スタッフも外出から帰ってくるだけでその度に立ち上がって挨拶してくださったり、とても丁寧に対応して頂けました。 ただ、惜しむらくはWiFiのクォリティが低く、とても重くて使い勝手が悪かったです。 それ以外はとても良かったと思います

Largest room so far, thinner walls but it’s ok, clean, very convenient location.

宿泊した部屋によるのかもしれぬが、部屋に机や収納ｽﾍﾟｰｽが全くなく、私物を出しっぱなしだと部屋の掃除できないとの説明あり、出かける際、洗面道具含め全てトランクにしまいなおさざるを得ず。部屋はあまり広くなく（申込時からわかっている事）壁掛TVが飛び出ておりベッドとのｽﾍﾟｰｽがなくぶつける危険性あり。ﾌﾘｰのﾐﾈﾗﾙｳｵｰﾀｰやｺｰﾋｰﾏｼｰﾝが有ることを、帰る時に知った（張り紙はしてあるが気づかず）。

部屋の床と風呂の床に段差があり風呂から出る時に足をくじきそうになりました。また風呂の前の机、壁掛けテレビには何回かぶつかりました。607号室でした。

The hotel is roughly 3-5 mins away from the nearest transit station. The area around the property is pretty good. It can be noisy at times, especially during the night, as the hotel is right by the main road and there are bikers that want to flaunt their lifestyles during the nights. The room I booked is a Superior Double Room and it's pretty nice. Spacious, large bed, HVAC is functional, decent size table with a small fridge underneath, and there's a couch. The bathroom size is alright - it will be inconvenient for you if you're a big or tall person, otherwise for Japanese people it's decent. The staff is pleasurable. They know decent English that checking-in is a smooth process. They're also very friendly and gives off a kind atmosphere. Amenities are alright - laundry room is pretty small though - almost like a walk-in closet. There's a restaurant downstairs right by the main lobby. Overall a decent place to stay at. One complain that I have is that there's only seemingly one wi-fi access point - if you rely on it, you're going to have a bad time, so make sure you have your prepaid mobile sim/pocket wi-fi ready. A small investment in adding additional router devices/range extenders for wi-fi will be appreciated. Will stay in again.

チェックイン時間はかかり過ぎる。

チェックイン時で忙しかったのかもしれませんが、駐車場の場所を聞きたくて何度も電話しましたが一度も出てもらえなかった。 駐車場に対する対応が曖昧。もう少しはっきりと教えてほしい

Great hotel. Very close to the Nara Station and can walk down the street for dining and things to do. Room itself was fairly large compared some of our other accommodations. Room was clean and reasonably priced for 2 day stay.

Near Nara Park

朝食のビュッフェが美味しかったです。パンも茶粥もおかずも満足です。カレーが非常に美味しくて驚きました。朝からカレー？奈良なのになぜカレー？と思ったのですが仏教がインドから来たので、理にかなっています。次回もここに来てカレーを食べたいと思いました。

I guess it’s Ok for one night but I would not go back again. Bathroom in the bed is like step up so your foot get bump especially at night. Breakfast is so so.

朝食のバターチキンカレーが美味しかった。

This is a fine hotel and I have stayed there many times when I go to Japan, however the breakfast offered has declined in the quality of the food .

I don’t like at all was the breakfast.

朝食のバイキングはいまいち。 出張時の宿泊として朝食付きプランを選んでも問題ないが、旅行で自腹で泊まる場合は朝食無しがオススメ。人1500円がかかるので外で食べた方が良い。
