I stayed here just shy of two weeks and had a lovely stay. I was greeted warmly by the staff and my room was very comfortable. Bare in mind if this is your first time in Japan; the rooms of most hotels are very small. I had a double room and was travelling alone so it was fine for me but two people may find the small space difficult. The room was cleaned when requested and the staff speak a good level of English if your Japanese is limited. I can’t comment on the restaurant as I opted to get breakfast from a near by cafe most mornings. The hotel is a stones throw away from Kinshicho JR station and Metro which has great connections to different spots in and around Tokyo. My one issue is the limited washing facilities. There are only two washing machines and two dryers for the entire hotel. Most times when I wanted to wash my clothes, they were in use making the time I could use them very limited. I’d recommend going to a local laundrette instead. Thank for a comfortable and pleasant stay, I’d definitely recommend!

Very cute, small, compact room. Barely enough space for 2 big luggages but as expected of Japanese hotels. It was surprisingly very sound proof, could not hear any other rooms at all but we could hear outside the door (usually very quiet anyways). The check in, check out was super simple and easy using a machine with multiple languages. To leave luggage, you need to talk to the front desk and they were very quick to assist. The staff were very respectful and polite during our stay. A lot of amenities provided on ground floor including hair straighteners, hairbrushes, pyjamas and chargers, etc. The shower head was super nice, although do note it is a shower in a bath. The bathroom did smell a little at first but there’s an air freshener and air purifier in the room. Room comes equipped with hair dryer, mini fridge with small freezer compartment and kettle. No microwave in the room but available in the common area. Overall, very comfortable and a pleasure to stay, would definitely recommend for the price.

Room is small but common to Japanese hotel sizes. The location is so convenient, only 3 mins walk to Kinshicho station and 3-4 7-11, Lawson and family mart around, also many restaurants with various options. Two department stores within 5 mins walk. Staffs are nice, efficient and very friendly. Only a tiny inconvenience is there are only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for the whole hotel so you need to line up for the usage. Overall it is a true good value hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn. The staff were all very friendly and attentive with staff speaking really good English. The hotel is a 5 minute flat walk for Kinshicho station so easy to move around with suitcases. The hotel let us store the luggage before check in which was a life saver! Room is on the smaller side but that is expected in Tokyo, just keep yourself organised and you won't notice as much. The hotel had all the amenities advertised and more offered down in reception such as tea, coffee, pyjamas ect. Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Tokyo!

The room we had was a bit dusty. The air conditioner smelled like it was molding when turned on sadly so couldn’t really use it. The air filter in the room wasn’t even cleaned and the floor could of been vacuumed as there was quite a bit of hair.. I didn’t make too much of a fuss bc we were mostly out anyway so I guess it was just OK. Staff was nice though.

Had a comfortable stay for a week and a half in a small double. Yes, they aren't huge, but for one person it was fine. I was quite comfortable apart from the room being too warm at night. There is air con but it's quite noisy and ferocious, and an opening window which was good for ventilation but then you get the outside noise. Great location, with the nearby stations, easy to get anywhere. Some pretty parks nearby with cherry blossom. I ate on the 7th floor of the department store a few times, lots to choose from.

The Location of the hotel is great, 3 min walk from kinshicho station. We were very aware that the room might be small, however it was even smaller than expected. You can not even open one suitcase properly. Also, the bathroom was quite smelly & the toilet paper is even thinner than on public toilets (there’s a sign „don’t use too much toilet paper for environment“ but with this toilet paper it’s impossible to use less lol). The AC directly blows on your head & also be aware that you can not use cash.. we possibly would not come back and get a air bnb for the same price but bigger.

The staff was very welcoming, greeting you as you come and go. The rooms are small, but honestly its a good enough space to put your things down and get some rest. The bathtubs are also great for soaking in. The location is also amazing because it's very close to two train lines with lots of food and shopping around the area.

Room was very small with no space at all to put luggages, we were constantly tripping over them. Other hotels we stayed in during our japan trip that were a similar size had the option of storing luggages under the bed which really helped with the minimal space of the room. Cleanliness was fine, not the best but not the worst. Location is great though, 5 minute walk from Kinchino station with access to both the subway and railway station.

Staff was wonderful. They would try to help you as much as they can. It showed that they cared about the guests. I felt very comfortable staying at this hotel. Housekeeping did an excellent job too. The area around the hotel is very convenient. Train stations are just 3 min away walking distance with plenty of convenient stores around. I loved it!

We chose to pay at hotel when booking was done months before arrival. This hotel increase room rate when we checked in at mid-night. Instead of adding one extra child’s city tax for one room. They charged us as walk-in price for both rooms . We pre-booked two rooms at this hotel months before . This is very disappointing that this hotel doesn’t respect the deal we made prior. And the staffs doesn’t show care of customer’s experience. We will never stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Front desk staff was very gracious in assisting me with forwarding our luggage. Location close to Kinshicho station and the area was quite walkable. I appreciated that they had a translating machine were speaking different languages appeared typed in a screen. I’d recommend if wanting to look for a quieter neighborhood.

This is our 2nd stay at Sotetsu Kinshicho upon our revisit of Tokyo. We love how close the hotel is to the train stations and the many eateries and convenience stores that v surround it. Despite this, the hotel is quiet and clean. Breakfast was de delight every morning as we were greeted with cheerful and courteous staff. The front desk reception staff were always ready with greetings whenever we arrive or leave the hotel. They were always eager to help in every way. Would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family amd will stay here again when we visit Tokyo again!

Despite it being a decent hotel, clean and near a JR station. The poor rating was due to the customer service. It was very inconvenient and inconsiderate that the hotel did not even try to offer another luggage delivery service to ship luggage outside of Tokyo. (We were going from Tokyo to Osaka) We would have liked a little more assistance or even just given other options to ship our luggage, but the front desk didn’t want to do it, didn’t even try, just shut it down like too bad so sad. Don’t think we’ll stay here again because of that.

Hele kleine kamer, maar wel heel schoon. Het personeel stond klaar om ons te helpen met inchecken bij handige automaten die een Engelse functie hadden. Wel bevind het hotel zich in de buurt van uitgaansleven, en hebben we in de avonden in het weekend heel veel dronken mensen en dames met verkoopbordjes gezien. We hebben ons niet onveilig gevoeld, maar wel een beetje onprettig. Wel is het vlakbij een station, en verschillende winkels waar je makkelijk aan ontbijt en ander eten kan komen. De 7 eleven is ook in de buurt.

No complains its 3 minutes walk from kinshicho station you can get to akihabara shibuya shinjuku with just one train line the price is good too if you compare it to other locations it has konbinis nearby like family mart 711 and lawson donquiote kinshicho is near too and japanese fast food like matsuya yoshinoya and you order on a tablet with english so highly recommend. Sometimes i go to mcdonalds and kfc nearby too.

1 min. walk from kinshicho station, 1 min. from Wendys, quiet. cash change machine in hotel lobby. not many TV channels, but too many things to do and see in Tokyo anyway to be a deal breaker. convenient to Narita airport, from kinshicho to ueno, transfer to keisei ueno and take skyliner to airport.

This location has everything you might need for your trip to Tokyo. It has shopping, food, clean rooms, and laundry you may need during your trip. It is not the most convenient of locations if you’re trying to hit Tokyos main attractions as an average subway ride into Shibuya or Tokyo station will take at least 30 minutes. It’s a bit far to the Shinkansen too and not conveniently close to the airport. However, there is a limousine bus stop, a short 5 min walk away though. Their cleaning hours are later in the day which is nice if you want to sleep in! They Also held luggage for us which we got delivered there from our previous hotel. Don’t think I’ll stay in this area again though.

櫃檯人員非常有禮貌服務也很好，大廳環境乾淨整潔，房間也很乾淨沒有霉味與煙味，下次若有需要會再回訪，唯一的小缺點是車站到飯店的途中會經過一段較複雜的街道，晚上治安較差，但不影響整體住宿的感受。

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed in this hotel for the past 2mos. Great location — transpo is very accessible and the nearby airport bus pickup is such a win! Lots of food & shopping options surrounding the hotel, and a nearby Don Quijote. Would definitely go back here when in Tokyo.
