Great modern property, very spacious and clean rooms. Not many amenities, but town is in walking distance for cafes/ dining etc. Provide bikes for free to cycle around the wineries. Unfortunately couldn’t use this service as didn’t have any kids bikes. Overall great stay!

Great stop off between Melbourne and Sydney. Cute local town with lovely bakery and cafes. Hotel is great, new, spacious and great facilities for those travelling like a laundry and guest kitchen. Would stay here again as a perfect stopover on a long road trip

Es handelt sich offensichtlich um ein beliebtes Hotel bei Hundebesitzern. Die meisten Gäste kommen mit Hunden, die wie selbstverständlich ohne Leine im Hotel laufen dürfen und mit in den Zimmern schlafen. Uns war dies bei der Buchung nicht bewusst. Nachdem wir unser Zimmer bezogen hatten haben wir uns zum Koffer öffnen auf den Boden gesetzt. Und waren sofort komplett voll mit Hundehaaren. Auf unsere Bitte an der Rezeption nach einer Reinigung oder einem alternativen Zimmer wurde mit einem Ministaubsauger einmal gesaugt. Geholfen hat dies nicht viel. Für uns war es damit unmöglich unser Baby auf dem Boden krabbeln zu lassen. Am Abend kam aus der Dusche kaum Wasser, fast nur kalt. Ab und zu kurz warm, wobei es dabei so schlecht gerochen hat, dass wir uns schon sorgen um unsere Gesundheit gemacht haben. Auch eine Stunde später war weiter kein warmes Duschen möglich, womit wir dann aufgegeben haben. Einen Ansprechpartner gibt es am Abend nicht mehr, weshalb wir auch keine Chance hatten etwas an der Situation zu ändern.

Looks nice, has great facilities including he communal kitchen, but there is one downside - it literally stinks. The kitchen smells like rotting food. The room smells like wet dog mixed with fresh paint. Whilst overall clean - the shower corner had a solid 10cm length of black mould, and the grout is dirty. The drain was black with mould. Apparently this property "doesn't use chemicals to clean" - and it shows. Maybe a little bleach every now and then is still better for your guests than exposing them to mould? The shower has no glass door or curtain so is open to the bathroom, and is directly next to the sliding door into the carpeted room. If you don't pile a heap of towels against the door and floor, the water just splashes directly onto the wooden door and runs down into the carpet. I'd hate to look under the carpet at the door as I'm sure that's where more of the smell is coming from. Plus we asked for the room to be made up, got back that evening and it wasn't done - they said housekeeping was too busy. So had to take our used towels to reception to get a replacement (they were dirty from the floor) and the coffee cups as well. Did like that in the reception area is a self service of towels, tea, coffee, toilet paper, etc so that was appreciated. The fireplace and communal lounge was a nice touch but just couldn't stand the stench from the kitchen area wafting through the rest of the complex. If it was actually cleaned and didn't stink, it's be a great stay.

I had an overall positive impression of the hotel, situated in a charming location just outside of Canberra, approximately a 45-minute drive away. The establishment boasts modern amenities, and despite arriving after hours at 7 p.m., the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Upon entering the room, I was pleased to find it well-maintained and tidy. However, my satisfaction quickly turned to discomfort when I attempted to wash my hands in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the basin appeared to be clogged with what seemed to be pubic hair, creating a rather unhygienic and unpleasant sight. As the hairs began to resurface, I opted not to utilize the facilities further, and this has put me off for the rest of the stay. I stayed in room 33, future guests may encounter the same unpleasant experience unless addressed promptly. While I acknowledge that this is likely not a fault of the hotel itself, but rather an oversight by the cleaning staff who may not have noticed the issue without directly using the handwashing basin, it nonetheless detracted from an otherwise positive stay. I took some photos and happy to share with hotel management if needed

Good location. Only problem is room 37 and 38 have a long high window with a roller blind that faces the highway. Of a night the street lights shine into the room making it very bright. Needs a blackout curtain. Other rooms do not have this problem. Rooms are neat and clean, easy walk to pub for a great meal. Handy to local wineries.

Very clean and modern. Room a little on the small side. As they didn’t serve breakfast reception directed us to a great place for breakfast very close by.It was delicious and very generous serve. As we were only overnight we didn’t see much of the town. Only down side was the bed was too soft,but we slept well anyway as we had travelled a long distance.

Very nice place. Beds were too soft for my liking but the room was well appointed and modern. Breakfast coupons are for a restaurant up the street which serves excellent meals. The only downside was that we had no hot water in our room. I mentioned this to the front desk and they graciously compensated with a bottle of local wine.

Absolutely 💯% , Service, Room, Meet n greet. Could not expect more. It's the little " Unexpecteds" that make the point of difference also, from free bottled water, coffee pods etc. Definitely recommended.

Great location if you are visiting Murrumbateman, walking distance to the pub, take away shop, supermarket and just across the road to a great cafe & bakery. There are also a lot of wineries within a short drive. Canberra is about 30 mins drive but don't know why anyone would want to visit that hole of a place. We arrived after 9pm and reception was closed but they contacted us late afternoon and sent information on how to access the lock box to get our key. A very easy process.

Located about 15 minute drive from Yass. No local amenities but in an area of newly built homes. Stylish, comfortable hotel. Limited connectivity to Telstra network. We had to rely on hotel wifi. A great place to stay overnight. We will stay there again.

Great property. Just a short walk to the pub and a take away food shop. There is a bakery and café pretty much over the road that sell great food and coffee. The hotel has a pantry that you can buy food such as snacks and ice creams but they also sell frozen pizzas and meals that you can reheat in the kitchen. Wine is reasonably priced and cold beers are $5.5. To save money you can cook breakfast and dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. The reception area has a proper coffee machine and the staff make a great coffee for $5 for a large. Our room was spacious with 2 queen beds, a nice bathroom and a outdoor setting on the terrace.

It is such a lovely stay we have when we go to this property. Beautiful and quiet and the most comfortable linens and bed. The kitchen, dining and lounging areas are just lovely and a real bonus to he able to bring your own meals. Everything you could ever need and more is here for you. The food pantry is a fantastic added bonus.
