Loved how convenient the property and location was. It was easy to find food and to get around. Staff were helpful with checking in and about the area. Additionally the rooms had everything I needed and more:: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shoe cleaning supplies, fridge, in room washer and dryer combo with detergent, and western style bathroom. They had dark out window shades and very comfortable beds for restful sleep.

1. The most amazing thing about this hotel is its location. There are direct trains from both Narita and Haneda airports (these two airports are far apart!) to the near-by metro station (Sengakuji), which is just a few steps away on the corner from the hotel. The hotel is also across the street from a new Takanawa Gateway shopping area. This is a large facility, with many excellent restaurants with a night view of Tokyo, and high quality stores. It feels like a good old large scale department stores. You can find a wonderful groceries in this facility. So you can buy inexpensive boxed meals and microwave them in your room, if you want. Takanawa Gateway also functions as a JR train station. It is not a hub, so it is not very crowded and also you'll never got lost in the station. From this station, major stations such as Tokyo main station, Ueno, Shinagawa etc. are just a 10 or so minutes ride. 2. Every room comes wish a washer-dryer combo. It is very quiet. I used it twice. You need to be prepared that in a humid season in Tokyo, drying a full load would take 3 hours. 3. I also liked their breakfast. The quality is good, and perfect for me, a gluten free non-meat person. The staff is also very nice.

The hotel is very clean with polite staff and a convenient walk to the nearest train station. The only improvements I would make, would firstly be the windows. We were not able to open the window to get any fresh air, plus the window was made of frosted glass, so we couldn’t even look outside. This made us feel quite claustrophobic. Also, there are no areas downstairs for guests to relax unless we pay to eat at the restaurant. In other hotels, there are lobbys with sofas, where you can rest, which was particularly needed after a 13 hour flight and it was too early for us to check in - but there was nothing like that here. However, we still enjoyed our stay. A few improvements as mentioned, would make a difference and make us want to return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tokyu Stay. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable, quiet, and very well maintained, and the location was incredibly convenient for getting around Tokyo. The staff were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed anything. After long days exploring Tokyo, it was so nice to come back to a comfortable and relaxing hotel. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would 100% stay at Tokyu Stay again on our next trip to Japan.
