Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande

Good option in this area. No bar, but service is good, rooms are nice, comfortable and nicely appointed

Modern hotel with good amenities and efficient and friendly service. We stayed for 2 weeks, using it as a home base. Within a 15min walk you can reach many restaurants, bars and shopping in Ginza and Tsukiji. Less than 5 minutes to two subway lines, which you essentially can use to go anywhere. We picked this hotel because it had a gym and laundry. Gym was small with 2 treadmills, an elliptical, and a bike but nothing else. The equipment was quality but dated and showing wear and strain. Laundry had 3 sets of washer and dryer with everything from paying and checking the status being online on a web page, which was very convenient. The detergent was included automatically as part of wash cycle. We never had a problem with availability when we stayed. We did laundry twice. We found that the 30min wash and 60min dry was sufficient for a reasonable big load and we tried to be courteous by immediately removing loads from each when they were done (either through monitoring the time or checking the web page).

Gym was not the best.

Staff and hotel were good. They had a gym which was key but i disnt see any weight machines...they had an all you can eat breakfast but the food seemed more localized and more of a lunch. They offered no alternatives for allergies or menu items ...

The hotel and all amenities were beautiful. The self laundry equipment was efficient and effective. The room was serviced with new sheets and towels every day of our stay. We liked the location and will return on our next visit to Tokyo.

Business hotel with all the amenities you need for your stay. Comfortable beds, daily cleaning and towel changes. There are laundry facilities on site which is really helpful. The staff are very polite and happy to help with any requests. The location is nice and close to the train and it's fairly central to get around town easily.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the train station entry, which we used daily, in addition to walking to nearby cafes, shops or ramen/sushi houses. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They would exchange our large yen bills for smaller ones and make change for us to use the laundry room. We used the laundry room twice during our stay. There are 3 machines available that do both the washing AND drying. The tv in the rooms allowed us to see if one of the machines was available or it told us how much time was left if we had clothes in them. We could also put in a 4 number pin to lock the machine, which was really nice because the machines are on the 2nd floor and our room was on the 9th floor. There were complimentary toiletries available, such as q-tips, hair ties, toothbrush with a tiny tube of toothpaste some sample-size facial cleansers and lotions and more. Our room on the 9th floor had a great view! Staff kindly called a taxi for my daughter and I when we needed to get to Haneda Airport the day we were leaving. The taxi came within 10 minutes! The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is the beds are hard as a rock and so are the tiny pillows. I had some rough nights due to the discomfort. It felt like I was sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks. We never did use the hotel restaurant, which had breakfast and dinner (for a fee). The only reason is we were always on the go and had a million choices of places to eat. I would recommend this hotel for sure.

Great breakfast options, clean laundry room.

The hotel was great and the view from the bedroom fantastic. The lack of a bar or lounge facility was a little disappointing but other than that the hotel and staff were great.

Very convenient to walk to the heart of GINZA while being located in a quieter street. Friendly and professional staff. Great breakfast(Japanese, other Asian, and Western options). However, cleanliness could be improved. There were large visible stains on the carpet, a layer of dust on top of the bed’s headboard, and the seat part of the chair looked worn and old. The pajamas were appreciated, but one of them also had noticeable stains. Overall, good stay for the location, has lots of potential once the hotel steps up their game in more thorough cleaning.

Friendly and helpful staff, hotel in average condition, needs more thorough cleaning at the rooms, especially the bathroom, which has an unpleasant urine smell. Took a picture of toilet showing that it is not cleaned regularly but this site won’t allow me to upload it.

The location of the hotel is amazing as it is close to the train station and lots of konbinis around. However, the cleaniness is super bad. The room if very dusty! you can see ball of dusts everywhere. You will see in every corner of the room it is very dusty. Ive the front desk and the house keepers if they could vacuum the room TWICE as both my husband and son have allergies, they just said Yes but didn't do anything. My son had a severe allergic reaction becuase of the dust; swollen and red eyes. My husband couldn't stop sneezing once we are inside of the room. Too bad as this hotel has great location but VERY BAD HOTEL ROOMS AND SERVICE. I will never book this hotel room again.

Clean hotel with kind and accommodating staff, located in a convenient location in Ginza

When I arrived we found a rotten piece of banana on the carpet and a very large fresh stain that included crumbs . Was not expecting this for the high price .

Very high quality looking from the entrance, elevators, hallways and room. Nice modern decorations. In the room I love the control panel that let's you adjust lighting and temperature from your bed. Plenty of wall outlets available and close to the bed. High quality shower, sink and toilet. I didn't use the tub, but it looked very nice, too. Highly recommended. I hope to stay here again some day.

We had a triple room which was a bit of a squeeze once you opened a suit case (probably par for Tokyo). Bed too hard and pillows not the most comfortable. But location excellent for Tsukiji and a short stroll to Ginza and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Hotel is situated in a very calm area of Ginza. Within a 10 mins walk you are in the middle of Ginza and the metro station is very close. The hotel is modern and nice - there in no onsen/spa or pool - which is great to relax after a long day in Tokyo. Unfortunately, the room we received had no view - just a big window overlooking a commercial building roof. A better view would have been appreciated - I doubt that it was sold out on a Tuesday night.

The room was clean, though there were a few stains/marks on the wall next to the bed. The bathroom was also slightly stained but looking past that, it was excellent. The staff were very accommodating and helpful in any questions you have regarding your stay or any plans you have. Only minor complaint was that the television was very slow, unable to watch a programme or YouTube without the television freezing for a second every minute.

Loved this hotel. We arrived way too early before check-in time. But receptionist immediately took our baggages and stored them behind the counters so we could start exploring the city. Room was big for 3 person (2 adults 19 yr. old teen). The bathroom layout was excellent, the toilet, bath, and sink were separate (with the toilet and bath in separate rooms), so it was easy for each of the 3 people in the room to do different things, vs. waiting for one person to finish using the bathroom. Very quiet, spacious, beds were comfy & clean - we had the best night sleeps out of the many cities we visited on this trip. Very accessible with Tsukiji metro station a 2-minute walk. 7-11, drug store, and great coffee shop right around the corner. The Tsukiji Outer Market (the outdoor fish market with lots of individual stalls where people go eat) is very close by. Tsukiji Hongangi (a very famous Buddhist temple) also literally right next to the hotel if that's what you like to see. Just overall great experience w. the location and condition of the property. Didn't find this location to be "far" from other areas like Ebisu, Nakameguro, Shinjiku, etc., since the metro system is so well-established and runs excellent. I would definitely keep Keihan hotels in mind if we see this chain in other locations in the future.

It was a great stay. There are 2 train stations only minutes away. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed placement, awkward position, one side was to the wall, and the bottom of the bed was so tight to get out of the bed. I had a hard time, every night when I use the bathroom, you have to cross over the person to get out of the bed.

Super Hotel um Tokyo für ein paar Tage zu erkunden. Metro Station direkt um die Ecke. Die Zimmer lassen sich komplett abdunkeln und sind ruhig, im 13. Stock hatten wir einen tollen Ausblick auf die Skyline. Die Zimmer sind außerdem etwas größer als sonst in Tokyo.

Modern, clean and spacious hotel

The staff was terriblly bad. They always watch you judgy to be able to charge you something extra. Really impolite! I wont recommend that hotel to any one. We were 10 mins late for checkout and they wanted to charge extra 8.000 jpy.

We selected this hotel due to its proximity to key attractions. While the location is decent but the staff at reception are not trained properly on attending guests and helping them with basic things like check-in. The lady that attended to us, upon our arrival, was rude and dismissive. She did-not seem interested at all in helping us navigate the check-in procedure. The language barrier and her bad attitude made it a cumbersome check-in process for us (after a long overnight flight).

On my trip I stayed in a to6 different hotels and this by far was the worst service. When we checked in the staff was rude and when we asked for extra room key since it was 3 people staying in one room the employee said only two room keys allowed per room. Even thought you need to place one room key by the door to make all the lights and AC work. Then when asked if there was a possibility of late check out they said no. When another employee was asked they stated that late check out was available for a fee.

Loved this property. Quiet area, highly efficient operations, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Nice location, right next to Tsukiji station so it was easy to get around. 7 Eleven is around the corner for any late night snacks! Room was really nice, would highly recommend!

Spent a week there with teens during spring break and had an incredible time! The property was spotless and in a fantastic location, just steps away from the famous Tsukiji Market and other top attractions. Don’t think twice, book this hotel!

Maravilhoso Perto do metrô ( 60 mts) , confortável, muito limpo! Escolhi um quarto com cama queen e foi muito bom. Usamos a lavanderia e o restaurante foi razoável, poucas opções.

The only complaint I have is the tight space of the room. The walkway is very narrow but I guess that’s Japan. Otherwise, the room was very clean which is important to me. The breakfast was wonderful each morning.

Location within walking distance to Ginza shops. Not a very good western breakfast- would not advise paying extra for it. Staff are okay - nothing outstanding. Rooms are a decent size.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely hospitable. Their professionalism and warm attitude made my stay pleasant, and I would rate them 5/5 without hesitation. However, I cannot say the same about the restaurant. Although the staff tried to assist, there was a noticeable lack of knowledge regarding dietary requirements. As a vegan, I found it very difficult to find suitable options. Steamed vegetables, for example, were stored alongside pork, which was disappointing. Room service was also very limited, and finding vegan meals through it was practically impossible. Had I known about these issues beforehand, I might have reconsidered choosing this hotel. That said, the reception team and housekeeping staff did an excellent job and paid attention to the special requests I had noted for the room, which I greatly appreciated. In conclusion, while I found almost everything else positive, the restaurant was a significant drawback and the main reason I would rate the hotel 4 stars—perhaps even 3—instead of 5, as dining was a real challenge during my stay.

We had a great stay in Tokyo as a layover for our Japan ski trip. The hotel was well located and we were able to easily get to sights. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast.
