I loved the 'lost in the country' feel, while being walking distance from shopping and restaurants. The property is gorgeous and the grazing horses so peaceful. Staff was exceptional

Overall our stay was good. Hotel is old reception and room and separated. Rooms are in the courtyard and there was smell as you enter the building but room was good and big. No fridge or microwave. Nothing for ironing. But free parking.

It was my first stay in Leixlip Manor. Honestly i booked it by mistake, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The location was very nice, quiet and peaceful. Loved the old style architecture and open space, plenty of parking. The room was nice and clean and had all you need for a short stay. Will book again if visiting Dublin!

This is a lovely hotel set in quiet countryside close to the small town of Leixlip. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room we had was very large, we were told it was the bridal suite. Food in the bar was very good. We stayed two nights only as we were touring, but it would make a good base.

Old house and vixtorian garden was lovely. Food was good. If you are coming in after 11pm you should give them a heads up as they lo k yhe door but there is a doorbell to be let in. The duvet came out of its cover easily and the sheets were not the softest.

Friendly service from Jamie at check in, stayed in courtyard room but the bed was not comfortable, usb sockets did not work and the 3 pin plug socket was very slow to charge my phone. Could not charge a second item due to usb socket not working. Felt the price paid was definitely not worth the quality of the room or furnishings for a remote location. The room and bathroom needs modernising, carpet was dirty and was only in room for 10 hrs due to late check in and needing to be out early next day for a commitment. I personally would not choose to stay here again and only booked here as friends had booked this in a package deal but was not my hotel of choice.

This hotel has some much potential. The lack of attention to cleanliness and guest comfort detracts substantially from how beautiful the manor is. Our room was very dirty—brown blood spots on the sheets, mold spots on the walls, pubic hair in the bathroom, urine under the toilet seat, cobwebs and spiders in every corner, brown residue in the kettle, and black grime on the ledges of the doors and windows. Our bedroom windows faced an outbuilding used by employees, who could look straight into our room. However, with the windows closed there was no air movement or ventilation, probably the reason for the mold on the walls. Even the bathroom blinds would close all the way because of knots in the cords. The breakfast spread was beautiful, but again there was mold on the walls of the dining room and rotting fruit in the bottom of the fruit baskets. It seems that a lot of attention has been given to upkeep of appearances, but less to actual guest experience and comfort. There’s so much potential here if someone could overhaul the cleaning protocols and guest experience.

Our room wasn't in the main manor, it was in a completely different building. Our room was dirty. There was dirt all along the baseboards, one of the bedside tables had chips, crumbs and cigarettes inside the drawer. They dont allow you to order food and bring to your room. You either eat at the manor or inside another restaurant. No elevator inside the building we were in. Very disappointed

The site and the buildings are charming, but there is a lack in sense of involvement on the part of the staff. We arrived for check-in (2 rooms) at 3:30 pm, being told that one room was not ready yet; we came back after 10 pm, and the pictures thereafter shows the result of the housekeeping work (which benefitted from a further 6.5 hours to finish its task). The beds were clean and made, the bathroom was clean, and that was it. I forgot to take a shot of the used cups and cutlery, but you get the idea from the bin that had not been emptied. The carpets had not seen a hoover for quite some time judging by the amount of hairs and dust/fabric of all sorts. I flagged this up kindly when checking out, noting that otherwise the beds were very comfortable and the place was warm, and was told 'I'm sorry to hear that, we'll flag this to our housekeeping team.' I later sent them the pictures to give them an opportunity to acknowledge that there was a slight miss and make up for that; 'We can only apologise.' So normally when you pay the full price for goods or services and they fall short of expected standards, the seller tries to make up for this by a commercial gesture (rebate, discount, offer, upgrade, in the case of hospitality). Not here. This is unfortunate.

While some parts of the property (plumbing) were on the older side, it was very clean, tidy, and had was up to date otherwise. Appreciated the availability of coffee and tea in the morning.

A beautiful spot if you prefer the feel of the country for your stay in Dublin. Friendly, welcoming staff. Immaculately clean room with such a comfortable bed! Lots of hot water. Just 15 minute drive from Phoenix Park. Quiet situation away from main road and traffic noise. Beautiful grounds for a wee dander outdoors. Breakfast was scrumptious- from full Irish fry, toast & jam, savoury and sweet topped baguette slices, overnight oats, cereal selection and mini French patisserie selection. The only negative was the paper thin walls and our neighbours snored. NB. our room was in the external block so can't comment on sound proofing in the main hotel.

We thought we would be in the hotel but our room was actually in the outbuildings, which were in fact quite charming. The room was clean and bright with everything we needed. The furniture was a little dated but solid. It was very nice and we would recommend it to anyone. We would definitely go back.

Hotel room was huge! Very comfortable, elegantly furnished and large bed. Only bad thing was it was extremely cold. I know temperatures were down to near freezing on Friday night, but neither the restaurant nor the bedroom were warm. I dined with my winter coat on.

It was all fine, check in was easy and efficient. The room was fine a little dated but nothing wrong. It was quiet, which for me is a big plus. The food was dull, the bar was limited (several options weren't available). The worst for me was the courtyard lighting, it was like daylight through the curtains all night.

I have stayed here a few times recently, on 2 occasions I arrived very late and I have to say that the night porter was most helpful regardless of the late hour. The hotel provides excellent hospitality and service. I will certainly stay there again. I appreciate the service.

Very busy and noisy with four separate parties. The staff were overworked but welcoming and friendly, however the bar area where we ate had limited seating space and was noisy with groups of people and children. We booked 2 rooms (one double and one twin) but one of the beds in the twin wasn't clean and looked like it had been slept in already leading to an uncomfortable night for my daughter who had to share the other bed (admittedly larger) with her aunt who is disabled. We reported this in the morning to the manager and they were to follow up on this. Unfortunately not good value for the money we paid.

Staff were amazing . Food was delicious. Parking was easy . Nice warm room on arrival .we stayed in the courtyard. Amazing bath perfect depth for winding the evening away in . Chef was very accommodating of dietary request . All the staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel is located in a beautifully tranquil area a welcome from the hustle and bustle of other hotel in Dublin or just outside . So peaceful . We will stay again . Value for money .

The bar menu had no vegetarian or vegan options, so i had to eat out (which was good, because i found a pub in the town with a great selection of vegan food). I didn't eat breakfast because the hotel information said it wasn't available until 07:30, which is rather late for people staying on business. I had to leave by 07:30, but when i handed my key back to reception i saw people already sat eating. The hotel needs to be much clearer about its breakfast offering.

I was in Ireland for a concert. Felicia at the front desk helped me figure out transportation to and from the event. Her and Karina were two of the nicest ladies I meet in Ireland! Both were warm, friendly and welcoming. Stayed in the main house and will defiantly stay again, when i go back. The hotel was just beautiful and peaceful.

We took the bus which means you’ll have a serious 15 minute ish walk to the hotel with last but up a steep hill but we’re young and knew what we signed up for. The grounds are beautiful and the room was great. The staff were super friendly and kinda. Great time would do again but if you have bad knees drive or rent a different hotel

Old manor with beautiful gardens, located on a small hill at the outskirts of Dublin. Walking distance to restaurants and busses. We had a small room in the courtyard, which was nicely renovated. Calm and relaxing environment, while still so close to the city of Dublin.

Stay at the hotel is ideal. Relatively near the airport if you have a rental car. Old style hotel and not too busy. Menu was basic and had enough to satisfy everyone. Bar was good. Checkin was fast and no issues. Check out the same. As for the room ii stayed in a very big room with a dible and single bed. Very comfortable, slept very well and had no issues. The room and bathroom was clean. Old style but charming. Overall i would recommend the hotel based on it style and comfort, and very importantly it is quiet, especially for those who want a good night's sleep before travelling. Only one disadvantage of this place is it location to other services, only ideal if who are travelling by car.

We had a WONDERFUL stay at the Leixlip Manor Hotel. The staff were super friendly and our check-in process was so easy. We stayed in the courtyard on the second floor of a walk-up. We did not eat there but we had a few drinks and the bartender Jamie was lovely! The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and we even got to see the resident horse, Golden Girl! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay near Dublin but outside of the hustle & bustle of the city.

The fact your staying in a lovely Manor House, it was cheaper than staying in Dublin City centre and free parking, the rooms were massive, large bay windows with stunning views, the surroundings were beautiful, a lovely walk down to the village to pubs and restaurants if you didn’t want to eat at the Manor House for a change, plus the bus was so easy to get into the city centre.

Beautiful, well maintained manor. Staff were very nice and helpful. Food at the bar was great, loved the Caesar salad. Room was beautiful and well appointed. Bed was so comfortable, didn't want to get up in the morning. Loved the bathroom! It was large, nicely (classically) decorated, and the rain shower head was great. Would loved to stay again!

Such a special place! About 30 minutes from the airport and train. A country oasis. We had an overnight flight to Dublin and were dead on our feet. She got us in our room hours early. The room was huge and beautiful—so comfortable. We walked the grounds, incredible gardens, a pony—perfect! Easy walk to the village with food and shopping. The dinner and breakfast we had were amazing. We will return!

A beautiful spot if you prefer the feel of the country for your stay in Dublin. Friendly, welcoming staff. Immaculately clean room with such a comfortable bed! Lots of hot water. Just 15 minute drive from Phoenix Park. Quiet situation away from main road and traffic noise. Beautiful grounds for a wee dander outdoors. Breakfast was scrumptious- from full Irish fry, toast & jam, savoury and sweet topped baguette slices, overnight oats, cereal selection and mini French patisserie selection. The only negative was the paper thin walls and our neighbours snored. NB. our room was in the external block so can't comment on sound proofing in the main hotel.

It was all fine, check in was easy and efficient. The room was fine a little dated but nothing wrong. It was quiet, which for me is a big plus. The food was dull, the bar was limited (several options weren't available). The worst for me was the courtyard lighting, it was like daylight through the curtains all night.

This is a lovely hotel set in quiet countryside close to the small town of Leixlip. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room we had was very large, we were told it was the bridal suite. Food in the bar was very good. We stayed two nights only as we were touring, but it would make a good base.

Wish we could have stayed longer! The property is breathtaking, dripping with history and food/beverage services was top notch. The room was very spacious and clean. This stay was the perfect place to wind down after a busy day exploring.

Read a few bad reviews about the property but we had a lovely stay. We were in the courtyard and the shower had hot water, the facilities worked fine, bed was comfy and the TV had Netflix, Disney, prime etc all included. The property also comes with its own Horse which says hello to you every morning.

The hotel has lots of potential but we were very disappointed. We arrived late with two kids. Check-in wasn’t particularly welcoming but we were keen to get kids to bed anyway. Our room was dirty. The beds were clean but almost everything else wasn’t. Dead moths in the bathroom, dirt on carpets, dust everywhere. We were in a family room in the courtyard on the ground floor. These are very noisy from the room upstairs and anybody outside. We were keen to leave as quickly as possible so we didn’t bother with breakfast. We got the feeling that management don’t really care for the hotel so we wouldn’t use again and we wouldn’t recommend.

It was in a beautiful place, out in the country, and for the age of the place it was very well kept. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. Just one thing, maybe because the windows were open, there was more than a few spiders for my liking, arachnophobia ☘️, all in all, very nice people, very friendly, and I would stay there again

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at the Leixlip Manor Hotel. After a full day of travel, we couldn’t believe this gem was only 20 min outside of Dublin center. The staff were extremely helpful, the room was spacious, the grounds were magical and food was delicious. Our family also loved meeting the manor’s pony and the proximity to St Catherine’s Park (BEST playground for kids). We will highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Dublin!
