Travelodge by Wyndham Walterboro

Our check in was awesome - Thank you Andy. Check out was another story. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. We decided to leave after the first night, since we had other obligations, we had to handle the next morning. Well, they ask for a $50.00 cash deposit. We came back only to check out. Well, the guy that evening said he had to check the room for damages. He comes back and states a washcloth is missing. I asked him why a dirty washcloth would be missing. This is the same person I spoke with to let him know I did not need room service and when we come back -the 2nd night I will pick up some fresh towels and rags. He really acted like he was going to keep my deposit for a dirty rag.

Lobby is still in Covid-condition with staff behind windows. Woman who checked me in tried to chage me $20 pet fee when the website says it's $15- she adjusted the charge to $15. Room was relatively clean except for brown stains on tub. Was awoken twice during the night by what sounded like something vibrating in the duct work. Although room was adequate, I probably won't stay here again.

Everything is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Even under renovation the room was well kept

Very accommodating, very clean, comfy bed. They were in the middle of renovating but we had no issues with noise. We stayed one night as a break from a long drive. Perfect rest stop.
