Staff were fantastic from checking in to servicing the room and our needs. Nothing was any trouble. Restaurant staff were amazing along with all the chefs. Food was amazing cannot fault any meal we had. Nice garden area to sit outside The only thing to mention is outside our hotel room door (room 5 first floor) there must be a generator as every morning from 7am onwards. Along with the sound it also caused vibrations on our door. So if you are a light sleeper bear this in mind. We were there 3 nights and got used to so this did not cause to much bother. Will definitely return

I didn't like the fact that we could not take our drinks out into the terrace after our meal. The bed was very low and small too. Apart from that, everything was fine and we had a nice stay. thanks

There is no lounge or bar area to relax in. You can only buy,a drink with a meal, this applies to residents as well, there's a nice paved,garden area where it would be nice to sit out on a pleasant day, but you can only do this if you buy food. Rooms very basic and small and at £90 overpriced

Double bed (queen size bed advertised). No free bottle of water (as advertised). No restaurant from Monday to Wednesday (hotels.com say restaurant available). Walls are paper thin where I could hear the guests conversation in the room next door as well as every time they used the toilet. Definitely not worth the £98 I paid.

Spotlessly clean throughout. We stayed for 2 nights and ate in the restaurant both evenings. The food was excellent and great value for money. Wonderful breakfast freshly cooked to order on both mornings. Location great for exploring the Gower. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast was superb. We only stayed one night. The deluxe room needs to be updated. Crack in sink, floor unstable in shower, noisy and vibrating washing machine from 7am from above. The staff were superb. The restaurant and bar area looked superb and if we visited again we would definitely go for a meal.

Possibly the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Some fixtures dated, but all worked perfectly, no damage, everything spotless. Best breakfast I've had for months.

The room was fine however there was a synthetic air freshener smell I hated. I think it was placed under the bed. If we had stayed longer I’d have asked for it to be removed but we were in and out quickly. The room was good for our requirements. The inn itself looks wonderful. We had a quick drink before we went elsewhere. Wish we had eaten at the Fountain as breakfast was superb - 10/10. Staff were all incredibly nice, happy and chatty.

Spotlessly clean throughout. We stayed for 2 nights and ate in the restaurant both evenings. The food was excellent and great value for money. Wonderful breakfast freshly cooked to order on both mornings. Location great for exploring the Gower. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast was superb. We only stayed one night. The deluxe room needs to be updated. Crack in sink, floor unstable in shower, noisy and vibrating washing machine from 7am from above. The staff were superb. The restaurant and bar area looked superb and if we visited again we would definitely go for a meal.

Enjoyable stay, great location and lovely pub. We would definitely stay again, the only niggles for us were the mattress could have been better quality (we like a good mattress) and the room being not so roomy meant that the unit with tea/coffee etc was quite crammed with the fan on it also so made it a bit of a chore space wise for making a cuppa. The breakfast was excellent quality my husband had the full breakfast which was lovely, good quality ingredients and plenty of it, the only bug bear there was the toast was cold and as I only have toast and jam, I would have enjoyed the toast hot. All in all it was a lovely place, really friendly staff, clean and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay.

Room wasn’t overly clean. Was dusty and had cobwebs. This was a gold room and in picture advertising it showed a lovely bath which is why we chose it. When we got there it was a shower and we questioned it to be told it was just a catalogue picture and they had no baths! The shower was stained with orange and needed steam cleaning and bleaching. The bed was metal and squeaky when sitting on it and only a double so small for a gold room. Couldn’t open window as level with bushes so let all bugs in and it’s was 30 degrees outside. The breakfast was nice however cups were all stained with lipstick and dirt. Staff in the evening weren’t helpful and taking our drinks order got it wrong which was only two drinks! Password for WiFi is all in capitals on back of door when actually it’s only one capital letter the beginning. Really disappointing stay.
