Aux Herbes Hautes is located in a beautiful place, just by the bord of Pas-de-Calais, but not far from Lille and some of the busy parts of the Nord department of France. The owner keeps a pristine apartment comprising a small kitchen, sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor, with a king bed and bath on the first floor. Nice decor all around, comfy beds to sleep, amazing shower to relax and nice toiletries (Shower gel and Soap). Air Conditioning helps with sleeping both upstairs and downstairs. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. Again, the owner was pristine in taking care of details. The only negative point was the inexistence of premises secured parking space. We had to park on the road, in front of the B&B, which was not a significant problem. Also, because of its rural location, there are flies everywhere, again not a significant problem.

Fantastic! Out host could not have been more helpful, the accommodation was immaculate spacious and quiet. The food at breakfast was delicious and filling, our favourite were the home made puddings created by Silvia our host. We had two nights of peace and quiet oh and the Air Conditioning was a big plus for us in the warm nights. The restaurant in the village recommended by Silvia was very good.
