The property is surrounded by trees and feels like a getaway even though it is a very short distance to the town square. The pool is shady and has built in seating all around the inside of the pool for lounging. The pool side bar is convenient and fun. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and are always clean. Love that they brew fresh coffee and provide hot water and tea in a lounge area as well as an option for a full bar and dining. You can stay in and relay or go out on the town with ease.

Nice place, but honestly nothing special. It was clean and quiet, and the room was on par with a mid-range motel like a Hilton Garden Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Parking was a bit of an issue because it rained, and the lot is unpaved. The little bar/restaurant on property was fun with a helpful staff.

This property is walkable to the cute downtown. The landscaping of the property and surrounds is beautiful but wish the fountains had been working. We really enjoyed the pool but it needed to be scrubbed and the water was murky. Pool bar only open limited days. The staff was excellent. We texted about turning on the spa, and it was running when we arrived back on property. We would stay here again.

Relaxed and beautiful setting. Superb pool. Check in was a bit chaotic. The office closes at 6pm. We were supposed to receive a text message with instructions for self checkin but it never arrived. We had to call twice to figure out how to access the room.

Service at reception was thorny and inhospitable. Beyond stupid policy that hotel guests can’t use the pool until the 3 p.m. check-in, and are not allowed to enjoy the pool after the 11 a.m. checkout. They oversell pool day passes so it’s too crowded without enough pool chairs for the overnight hotel guests.

It was a return visit to this hotel after 10 years.The property has been updated and has a new pool!The pool area is very nice with some outdoor games.The rooms and exterior have been painted so it looks clean.The only drawback is that at night its very dark and hard to see anything in the parking lot so you have to be very careful driving out so not to crash or stumble across a rock or tree.Maybe eventually lighting will be added.

Had a great stay here! Room was very clean and had a lot of beautiful extras. We absolutely loved the pool and easy access key code. Our days were busy, so I never talked to the staff. Excellent property. Rooms were clean and efficient, pool was so nice to relax, and enjoy the outside. The bar/restaurant is a must do. Delicious food and drinks. Only downside was walking into town, very close, but had to cross a few busy roadways with no sidewalks. Would definitely return to this property!

The experience was excellent. I was texted our room information since our arrival was after 6 pm. The office closes at 6 pm. The room was spacious, clean, lots of closet space, bathroom was huge, and the bed's were comfy. The room had a nice ceiling fan and wall unit that cooled nicely. The pool was large with plenty of seating. We had a couple of sandwiches and drinks at the bar which is conveniently located on the property. Overall our stay was excellent. Definitely a winner 🏆

This hotel was a great stay for my family of four visiting the town of Wimberley. The room was renovated and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The town is maybe one minute away by car, you could even walk if you wanted. I also recommend hanging by their pool and maybe going to the Blue Hole for the day. With your stay, you also have access to 7A Ranch. There they have river access and a fun pioneer town that is great for a family with small kids. This was a fun family trip, but would also be great for a girls weekend.

The hotel was nice and had lots of room, but the bed was hard as a rock and made sleeping pretty rough. The shower was the only other issue as the water pressure was very weak and made washing out shampoo and conditioner difficult.Those two issues are small considering the overall experience.

10/10 across the board. Clean, quiet, safe, beautiful property. Everything was technically in walking distance but we did take the 2 minute drive to downtown Wimberly only because there were no sidewalks/crosswalks directly in front of the inn- didn’t feel like an inconvenience at all though. The two staff members we interacted with were kind and helpful. Parking was EASY, room was spacious, and super clean. Checkin was a breeze- if you’re looking to have a sweet escape this is the perfect spot.

Had a great stay here for my birthday weekend with my boyfriend. It was cozy, trendy and had everything we needed with a great location. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the Wimberley area!

The area is only .5 miles from the town square. The staff was kind and very helpful. The pool was so charming and shuffleboard was so fun. The bar wasn’t open when we were there but there are enough wonderful places in the square to eat dinner. Everything was very close to the Wimberly Inn. The only downside would be that the A/C was extremely loud but it did cool the room wonderfully in the summer heat. I would definitely come back.

Check in and communication were great. My wife and I liked the step in shower. Plenty of grab bars without being excessive We spent hours on the road to get there and just wanted to hang in the room chilling. There was only one chair. Most hotels in this price range have two comfortable chairs. These chairs were too low and not that comfortable. The TV was unable to connect to any channels. The shower drained slow. The bed was a little low to the ground for us and sagged a bit where it had been sat on too much. Worst of all, there was no Coffee on the grounds. We get up around the same time every morning and were looking forward to sitting outside to watch the sun rise. I ended up driving to the other side of Wimberley to find a place that was open and had coffee. By the second morning I found the electric tea kettle and 'tea bags' of coffee. (There was no microwave) Sorry, learning new technology should not be required before coffee.

Tucked away among the trees, the Inn offers a quiet oasis. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a full length mirror, since we were in town for a wedding, but overall, we were happy with the accommodations.

Had a nice quiet dinner and the food was hot, quick and fairly priced. Nice outdoor view for eating and drinking. Bartender-waiter not overly friendly but attentive. Love the way you can communicate with front desk by text so you know when your room is ready and ask questions. On a busy street but surprisingly quiet with easy entrance, exit and parking. Close to town, shopping and zipline adventure. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Great location, easy parking, super nice staff. Room was 4 out of 5 clean, grounds was 5/5, pool was 4/5, so not bad. We stayed Sun-Tues so the bar/restaurant wasn’t open. Felt like we missed out on some of what makes the place. I’d recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Wimberley Inn. Brunch options are great. Pool area was nice although water was cold. Had a really fun night with a local duo that obviously had a local following. Bartender made awesome skinny jalapeño margaritas. All in all a real cozy place to stay that’s a 3 min drive to the shopping square.
