Our stay had a few positives, but overall it was a mixed experience. The king size bed was comfortable, and the hotel provided plenty of Dove toiletries. We were pleasantly surprised to find a second full bathroom upstairs, which was very convenient for our family. The location was also great, just a short drive from the harbor, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and nearby towns. It was also quiet for the most part. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The pools were cold, poorly maintained, and appeared to have a crumbling liner or floor. Having to sign in with the lifeguard each time we wanted to use the pool was inconvenient. The front desk staff were not very friendly, and the Wi-Fi barely worked in our room. Maintenance had to reset it before we could connect, but the signal remained very slow. Our room had an awkward two-story layout with a small bedroom downstairs and a separate upstairs living room. The oversized furniture like the tv stand, desk, ottoman and bench made the space feel cramped. Only one arm chair provided in the bedroom. People were smoking right outside our window. The fold-out sofa our kids slept on was extremely uncomfortable, with wires that could be felt through the mattress. Overall, the comfortable bed, extra bathroom, and convenient location were the highlights. I would stay here again for a night or two, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.
