Well located hotel inside the walls of st Malo. Our room was cosy (small), the café below our window was noisy, no A/C but comfortable with the window open except for the noise. We found it very hard to get to the hotel by car with roads closures and the bridge was temporarily closed. Staff were very helpful. Cheaper than the other hotels in the area.

Fabulous location (but parking difficult), bathroom door didn’t fit the hole!? Repeated banging of doors in the morning.

Bad start - drove through the maze to drop off bags, asked hotel person (hard to identify since it's also a restaurant) for advice on where to park, and he said he had no idea at all. As parking is clearly an issue in St. Malo, he should've had some idea. We finally figured something reasonable out after 40 minutes of trying to get back out of town. Second - no AC, which is fine, but if you opened windows the noise from the bar went on late into the night. We asked about a fan, and they said they didn't have any, a first in my years of travel in Europe. Third- the bathroom is dark, and it looked like the bulb above the mirror was dying. We asked to get a new bulb, and they said yes but never did it. I'm sure they understood our request. Fourth - literally the only place to hang a towel in the bathroom was on a tiny towel rack/heater. It was impossible to be "eco-friendly".
