This place is very nice and clean. They are a kitchenette with two burner stove, fridge, and dishwasher. They have cookware and utensils. They offer games and other kitchen appliances you can borrow. They have a dvd player and dvds you can borrow. A very nice indoor pool and grill area. They have a little snack bar area with free coffee and tea and snacks and frozen meals for sale. You can also buy beers and wine at the front desk. We really enjoyed our stay here and if you are a family waiting for a husband or wife to get out of the military training then this is a great place to spend a few days with your family.

nice hotel that is far enough from the hustle but close enough to still be able to get around, if needed. stayed here during fiesta and it’s close to stmu. has tesla chargers as well, which was a nice surprise. overall, great stay.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It's very nice and quiet. We had a spacious king-size suite that was clean and comfortable. We reported an issue with the bathroom door not closing properly. We were there six nights and it was never fixed. Although we didn't use them, there are a lot of nice amenities like a fitness room and indoor pool. The sundry area where you can purchase various items including food, snacks, and drinks was nice and well stocked. We travel to San Antonio often to visit family, and we would stay at this hotel again.

Amazing property!! Check in was a breeze! Staff is SUPER friendly. Room is huge and clean. Love the bbq pit availability and bbq area with lots of tables and it’s right next to the pool. Love the convenience of having a small shop with meds, drinks, food options and alcohol for purchase. Great Stay!

Elevator near lobby needs service. Even when working it’s too slow and was not working part of the time. Bath sink did not empty properly and it took two calls to get help. Eventually it was fixed. Upstairs room had two small children and one call to desk got them quieter. Desk staff was exceptional

it was a budget for the hotel close to Seaworld and I had no issues with the room. The area was not bad. It was great they had security in the parking lot during the night. I like that it was free parking so I don’t have to pay extra. they have an indoor pool, which is really nice and clean. we stayed three days in the room and I like that it has a kitchen with appliances, a fridge we’re able to put a pack of waters and our leftovers. It’s 30 minutes away from the cantera outlets. we needed a crib for the baby and they gave it to us right away and it’s free.

This property was not what I was expecting at all. The building is very very dirty inside and out. The bathroom had a broken drawer and a hook that was ripped off the wall and not replaced. Also no room service so if you need clean towels etc you had to go to the front desk and get them yourself this is not what I was looking for especially for what I paid a night. We paid $707 for 4 nights and got a dirty building, no breakfast and no room service. We’ll never ever stay at a Candlewood suites again.

The location is perfect. Super close the Luke visitor center. The staff was really friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I found a German roach in the bathroom and if there is one there are millions.

Our stay was wonderful and this hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming. We felt very much at home and the free laundry was a big plus. When you stay at a hotel you either have those that feel kind of icky and those that are so-so, and then those that you feel completely at ease and comfortable in - Candlewood Suites was the latter!! Would most definitely stay here again!

We stayed here 4 nights for Air Force BMT graduation. It is in the perfect location for those visiting Lackland AFB. The rooms were quiet, spacious, and clean. The bed was firm but comfortable. It was nice to have a full size kitchenette in the room. Very nice indoor pool and a covered patio to escape the Texas heat while getting some fresh air. Loved having free laundry service! The staff was super helpful and friendly. They were very welcoming and gave great suggestions for local restaurants. My only complaints were the the water pressure in the shower was barely above a trickle and the elevator was broken for most of one day of our stay. We will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Staff was nice and courteous, the hotel condition was average to below average. The elevator seemed fairly rickity, and unreliable. Luckily my fiancé suggested we take the stairs. About 10 minutes later, we got a text saying the elevator was out of order. The televisions work, but would be nice to update to a tv with app options, not just cable. Appreciated nonetheless. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way, unless you force it shut. Then to open, you felt like you were pulling the handle off. Bed and linens were good, ac worked, ice machine worked, everything else was about average.

DON\'T BOOK HERE. NO GUARANTEED ROOM. We booked a suite here four months in advance for Air Force BMT graduation. We travelled from Colorado. Upon arrival for check-in, we were told our reservation had been cancelled and they had no rooms available. They were (luckily) able to "comp" us a room in a lesser hotel further away from the base. I\'m still trying to get a partial refund from them.

The staff was so amazing, especially Mauricio. He was very engaging and enthusiastic. He made us feel more than welcome. Like we were special guests. Our only problem was the elevator. It was so hot and had an unpleasant smell. That is such a small thing and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

They are renovating and they gave us a room next to the construction. The noise was going all day until 10pm. When we complained to front desk we were told that according to city ordinance they can work until 10pm. We had to call the police so they can stop. Horrible customer service. I don’t know how they have 4.5 ratings.

This hotel is by far the newest and nicest place within close proximity to the Luke Gate of JBSA LACKLAND. This is the place to stay if you are attending BMT Graduation. Bring your Airman back to relax and visit. The surrounding neighborhood is older, but the hotel property is safe!

The front desk guy was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The inside of the hotel was very clean. The outside was well lit up at night for walking to your vehicle. Only thing is they do not offer breakfast here.
