The only issue with this hotel is the elevator I had the 67 floor and it took every time to get down like 30 minutes I would avoid this hotel just for the elevators it’s really difficult to go down it stopped at every single floor going down and sometimes it was fully pack you had to wait another 20-30 minutes to go down

Very nice hotel close to Dubai business areas and also the metro which was convenient. Has a nice view of the Burj Khalifa from some rooms. Staff were friendly and generally accommodating. Only negative point is that to go to the top level you have to have a reservation and minimum is $D100. We had 20 people staying at the hotel for a wedding and wanted to take some pictures up there but were not allowed. This was disappointing considering the amount of money we'd spent there already. Elevators during Fri-Sun are also quite busy so can take a while if you're above floor 41. Overall it's a nice hotel and I'd stay there again.

Great Hotel, amazing staff. valet parking was great. The rooms were really clean but the bathroom needs a make over. needs to change the old style bathtubs with half mirror glass. They say they are the tallest hotel in the world but have only 6 elevators. Expected to wait for over one hour during check-ins and check-outs.

Good location in the Citycenter. Walking distance to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, and close to a metro station. Our room was spacious and nice, though there were not much room for your personal stuff in the bathroom The pool area was nice. Famous being the tallest hotel in the world, so everyone needed the lift. That was the big issue. You had to wait for the lift for so long, when the lift arrived it was crowded and we had to wait for the next one. We stayed at the 45th store out of 72. We heard a person being so tired of it so he took the stairs all way down. At 10 o’clock in the morning we waited 30 minutes until we managed get down. So this is the big issue for this nice hotel.

I stayed for 5 days and the experience was amazing. From valet FREE parking to easy access to public transportation. Staffing was great from arriving to the hotel to all amenities it has to offer. All other bad reviews of the elevators and everything else did not have no relevance to my stat. Everything was fine and up to par. The pool has one of the best views in the whole Dubai in general. I have recommended this to friends and family. Will definitely stay here again. Transportation is walkable as the train station is about a 3 min walk. Close to the museum as well. Amazing experience

Praktische Lage an der Metrostation und faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Hotel hat einen super Pool, ein großes Becken und bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Die Dachterrasse ist der Hammer, mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den Burj Khalifa und die Umgebung, Essen und Getränke sehr lecker! Kann das Hotel und die Mitarbeiter sehr empfehlen und komm gerne wieder. Aber Vorsicht bei Zimmern in den oberen Etagen, hier kann es vereinzelt zu Wartezeiten an den Aufzügen kommen.

We had so many issues here. The keys were not working half of the time. Elevators take forever to get you to your room or lobby. Windows are terribly dirty, could not enjoy the view because the windows were so dirty. I had a leak of water in my room. Bathroom was dirty, the room was not very clean. We had some random beds in the hallways.

Room was not spotless and one of the 6 days, the staff neglected to leave a roll of toilet paper. One aspect of this hotel that is unattracitve, is that staff use the same elevators as the guests and often getting off at multiple floors, making the ride down excessively crowded and slow. One staff member did however stand out - he was exceptional and customer-driven....His name is Kashyap. Look for him, he's courteous, professional and very helpful.

I stayed here for four nights, and honestly, the cleanliness and service were just not acceptable. There was a lot of water leaking from under the sink in the bathroom, so the floor was always wet. There was also a really bad smell coming from the bathroom, kind of like sewage, and unfortunately, I even saw cockroaches in the shower. The management of guests and the overall environment was practically nonexistent. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel, and I’m sure you can find a much better place to stay for the same price.

Absolutely disgusting rooms. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, bath tub reeked like sewer. Only two elevators!! Air conditioning was on and off and vents were right on top of our faces. We had to sleep with the covers on our faces to prevent us from getting sick. We had the worst time here. Only two towels in the whole room. Hotel is in filthy conditions.

This hotel is great for convenience in central Dubai.The king room with views of the Dubai skyline and Burj Khalifa was great even though the bathroom was a bit dated I appreciated the views . In the daytime the windows on the 60th floor was so dusty but at nights I slept with the curtains open because the views were incredible. The breakfast buffet seemed adequate but the guests had left the buffet stations untidy so I did not try much of what was being offered. The pool was refreshingly after a long hot day and the views of the Burj was lovely.

We love the location ( centrally located) and the beautiful view from our 71st floor. Also the rooftop swimming pool have the great view day and night too. The elevator was the only major issue( slow and small for the tallest hotel in Dubai. Other small things in the room can be improve like lower the bathtub or eliminate it, it’s too high and not safe to walk in and out. Not too much outlets, more closet space. Overall it was a great stayed for our 9 days trip in Dubai.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and my experience was nothing short of dreadful. I’ll list my major concerns below to highlight the issues I faced during my stay.1.Old and Unkempt Facility: The hotel is quite old and in desperate need of renovation. The room I stayed in was on the 56th floor, and although it was "clean" by the hotel’s standards, it certainly didn’t meet the standards I would expect from a hotel in Dubai. The floor was stained, the furniture had visible dust, and the overall feel was outdated.2.Hygiene Issues in the Bathroom: The bathroom was a major concern. There was black mold present (I’ve attached pictures below) in several areas, which was both unsightly and concerning. Additionally, the sink was leaking, and despite raising this issue immediately with the hotel, the problem was not properly addressed.3.Poor Maintenance Response: I first complained about the leak, and an “engineer” was sent to fix it. He claimed the issue was a loose connection and assured me it would be resolved. However, when I returned that night, the leak was still there. I complained again the next day, and although they offered to upgrade me to a suite, the suite was even dirtier, with stains on the carpet and visible dust on the furniture. I declined the upgrade due to my allergies, hoping for a solution to the leak issue instead.Unprofessional Management: I requested to speak with a manager, hoping for a resolution. The manager was extremely unprofessional and rude

Mein Aufenthalt im Gevora Hotel war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Das Personal war ausgesprochen zuvorkommend, freundlich und immer bemüht, alle Wünsche schnell zu erfüllen. Man hat regelmäßig neue Handtücher und frische Sachen bekommen – der Service war wirklich top! Das Hotel selbst ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und man sieht hier und da kleinere Mängel, aber das wurde durch die gute Betreuung und den Komfort weitgehend ausgeglichen. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die zentrale Lage direkt neben dem Burj Khalifa – ideal, um Dubai zu erkunden. Insgesamt war ich mit meinem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden und würde das Hotel vor allem wegen des Service und der Lage weiterempfehlen.

Even if you stay in the hotel, you cannot access the lounge at the top of the building without paying upfront 100 AED. Even to have a look at what it looks like, unacceptable. No water in the room either, breakfast very mediocre, old rooms.

We spent two nights here. Main reason was easy access to Metro and price plus (3) Restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was great as was the shower. The only knock was the room decor was pretty dated. The sink leaked in the bathroom, the bedroom was colder than the suite area. We paid for the breakfast; buffet style with lots of options you won't go hungry. When we checked in we were asked about what time we planned on checking out. Since we were checking out at 5:00 AM to make our flight we were offered a "bagged" breakfast. It was quiet the bag full of food, we didn't start our trip hungry. The Gevora met all of our needs and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel close to all attractions and near the subway/metro line to go anywhere else in the city. Attentive staff, breakfast buffet very good and the rooms clean and large. We had a room with Burj Khalifa view, excellent. Other guests were polite and private. Totally recommend to north americans and not only.

Not great at all. Lifts took forever from the lobbies to the rooms simply because of the volume of people. On one occasion, it took more than 40 minutes to be able to get down from my floor. Stairs not an option. Breakfast poor.

The Highest View restaurant was amazing, dining with a view of the city. The pool time should get extended so people can enjoy more Conveniently located and 10 to 15 mins taxi ride to Dubai Mall and Burj khalifa. Dieses Hotel buchen Sie für den Blick auf die Stadt oder das Restaurant auf dem Dach. Leider ist es sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Rund um den Pool war es schmutzige. Besonders die liegen wurde schon lange nicht gereinigt. Der Chlor Geruch rund um den Pool war sehr unangenehm. Auch hat uns das Essen an der Pool Par nicht geschmeckt. Die Pizza war ungenießbar. Bezahlen mussten wir diese trotzdem. Die Beschwerde beim Hotel Management hat auch nicht geholfen.
