We spent 2 days with friends to celebrate our sons’5th birthday and we had a great time!The house is supper well equipped, including the rolls Royce of the barbecue.All the rooms are spacious, including the terrace.The surrounding is nice too and all green.We had a great time !

This was such a lovely house to stay at the beds were comfortable, and there was an ample space for all of us. The owner was lovely and met us and gave us a tour. Was definitely a lovely stay.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. The place was amazingly beautiful and everything was perfect. This place is great if you want to visit Brugge, Ghent and Antwerpen and also if you want to disconnect and just enjoy a quiet place. Just keep it in mind that you need a car to get here. We would love to stay here again soon.

With all beds made and plenty of towels provided, we could feel right at home from minute one. The equal distance to Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp proved to be ideal. Across the boarder into Zeeland you find some quieter beaches at similar proximity. With just one bathroom for the four double/king beds, I wouldn't occupy this place to capacity, but for a family of four it was fantastic. The WiFi is based on 4G wireless, which our teenagers used up in hurry. Extra data volume was quickly provided, but if you plan to lock yourself up watching Netflix, this is not the place to go. Alternatively, if you're speaking Nederlands, the library would be enough for several winters. The landlords where quick in answering all queries and perfectly unobtrusive during the stay, which is quite a feat given that the occupants are entrusted with such a fine property. Gas BBQ, Miele applicances, freezer and big fridge, laundry machine and dryer. You can use the indoor garage, but leaving the car out on the lot next to the house suited us well enough. Bruges does have an overtourism problem in summer. We're likely to come again, but in a different season. When we found the place on this platform, we immediately knew it might be special. A big thank you to Annelies and Filip for creating such a wonderful and relaxing ‘home from home’, offering everything we needed, together with some thoughtful additional luxuries. This was our first visit to Belgium and the house was perfectly situated for visits to Bruges and Ghent, as well as being near to the beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this peaceful location, watching the farmers working in the fields around the house and exploring the walking routes just outside the door. We would highly recommend this property.
