We loved our time at 45 Times! Rooftop pool gives a beautiful view of the entire city. You can see all of the main sights of Barcelona all while relaxing poolside.

Hotel parking is tricky to enter with constant pedestrian challenges.

Great service, excellent location - central and nice rooms. We loved using the rooftop pool and loungers to chill with great views.

Situation fantastic Extremely clean and services good Pleasant welcome at check in with a complementary glass of bubbly or water. This was available always in reception. One downside was the free WiFi which was really not good.

Extreme convenience, right in the heart of tourist/shopping area, on top of subway station Catalunya。However, the elevators are a nightmare。

We enjoyed our stay, until the elevator quit working to the 9th floor. We are 70 years old and my husband has bad knees. It was a great hardship to us, especially since the elevator problems were during the weekend, and there were an abundance of people using the elevator to the rooftop bar. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast were excellent, but the elevator problem was a huge negative for us.

The elevator werre working welll over the days of my stay. Theree weee time I had to waot foe over 10 minutes. The hotel lobby is small. There are plent of better hotels around.

Nice location, good staff, very good view and at 7 floor balcony bar. The room is clean and Morden. The rate is expensive but not that high comparing with other 4-5 stars hotel nearby. Only one thing that I don't like, it seems non hotel guest could also go to the 7 floor bar, and they get the elevator occupied and left only one elevator for the hotel guest.

Do not stay here. Spent two sleepless nights. The hotel is shutting down for a few months for room refurbishing so maybe it will be better after that. The location is great. Many other hotel options in the area. Room 1: I booked a triple room for my mother, daughter and I. The room was a good size however there was black mold in shower which made the room uninhabitable. The couch was stained. Halls were dirty. Room 2: Also had black mold, but less. I was still not prepared to risk it. Room 3: Fine but too small for 3 people. They wouldn’t give a discount bc they said it was an upgrade due to the “city view” Room 4: Finally they “upgraded” us to a large beautiful suite on the top floor but they didn’t tell us that the AC was broken! To their credit they brought us multiple fans but with 90 degree temperatures we spent two sleepless nights.The bathtub drain was also broken which they fixed quickly. It was disingenuous to give us a room as an “upgrade” but not tell us that they couldn’t have rented the room anyway because of the AC! Also they lost one of our bags and my hat in the luggage storage. I finally went to search for it myself and it was connected to someone else’s luggage! The hotel has refused to give us any kind of refund. I am pleased to say hotels.com did give us a small discount. I can recommend the sky bar and pool on the 7th floor which are operated independently.

Old and dated. No room service… said they would bring ice but never delivered. We paid a lot of money for a suite and did not provide suite hospitality or comfort. Old oil faded couch with stains. Bathroom shower smelled like sewer. Terrible. Sink was broken and no air conditioning.

La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable, fue nuestra segunda ocasión hospedandonos en este hotel, la primera vez fue hace 2 años y quedamos encantadas, todo estaba impecable y perfecto que decidí volver al mismo sitio. DESAFORTUNADAMENTE la calidad de las habitaciones y sus amenidades ha disminuido, estuve en 2 tipos de habitaciones y en ambos nos tocaron mantas de cama desgastadas, las toallas de baño olían mal y estaban percudidas y desgastadas; en las regaderas se podía ver corrosión y en mal estado las agarraderas o la misma regadera. Las habitaciones también tienen un problema que todo se escucha de la calle, deberian pensar en ventanas insonoras, al estar en una plaza tan concurrida es imposible no escuchar el ruido de la calle. En cuanto al restaurante, solo probamos el desayuno y en general la comida es buena, a excepción de los pancakes y wafle, que estaban duros como si fueran de congelador y solo los ponen en microondas..pero su barra fría, panes y demás todo bien. En mi opinión lo que rescata a este hotel es la ubicación y la calidad del servicio del personal, todos son muy atentos y dispuestos a ayudar. ME VOLVERIA A HOSPEDAR AQUI? No, el precio es bastante alto para no tener una calidad alta en las amenidades y las condiciones

Mooi hotel, fijne kamer. Eerst ff bang dat er geen tv was. Maar toen hebben we die uiteindelijk gevonden in de spiegel, dat was erg handig. Enige nadeel daar van was dat je geen tv kon kijken met de gordijnen open door de weerspiegeling overdag. Sanitair is wel beetje aan grondige schoonmaak of vervanging toe door wat aanslag. Maar was wel schoon. De locatie van het hotel is wel top, mooi uitzicht gehad op het plein. En geen geluidsoverlast van buiten

Fantastic hotel, we really recommend it! Perfect location, the room was clean and had a modern layout that really suited us, the breakfast was very good (we had breakfast in bed and especially enjoyed the perfect scrambled eggs and the freshly squeezed orange juice). The staff was friendly, service minded and gave the extra service that lets you know you are staying in a premium hotel. We have no complaints and will definitely stay here again next time we visit Barcelona.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar zentral gelegen. Zu Fuß sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichbar, Bus zum Flughafen direkt davor. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist großartig mit einer tollen Aussicht. Frühstück ist gut. Zimmer und Betten waren gut, allerdings könnte mal wieder Staub gewischt werden und nach dem Duschen, steht leider das halbe Bad unter Wasser. Hotel ist aufgrund der Vorzüge zu empfehlen.

Location is very convenient, however the bathroom was not well maintained.

Das Hotel selber war super,die Lage,der Service alles top. Nur die Sauberkeit könnte etwas besser sein.

This is somewhat strange hotel. Long waits for checking in and checking out since here was only one person at the front desk. The room is awkwardly designed, with the toilet, shower and washbasin in three different spaces, separate from each other. The architects who designed the rooms did not believe that it would actually be convenient to have an integrate bathroom, with all facilities in one room; they wanted to be different for the sake of difference, sacrificing the comfort of the guests. This is an overpriced hotel and I am not likely to come back; there are better options in Barcelona.

Superb, central location, soundproof room, comfortable bed, great breakfast and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The Room is very special and cool

It has a fantastic room and terrace.

Love this location and hotel quality. Really liked the water refill available just outside my room. My room had a view to Plaza Cataluña which I highly recommend. There is a public piano in the square which you a can listen to if you open your window.

Room was spacious and clean Only one elevator working - was very slow It was very noisy- both street noise and loud people in the hallways til very late

I loved my stay at 45 times. I have a couple of comments: the trash bin at the bathroom is not very functional. Maybe a larger one could help. It was too small. I loved the mirrors in the bathroom but again not so functional for its purpose. Lighting was great, fridge perfect, the closet very good. the TV was great. Of course my room was noisy as it was facing the plaza but I didn't mind

The only problem with my stay was the soundproofing and the air conditioning. The room faced the Placa de Catalunya and the noise from this area is constant throughout day and night. Daytime you have tourists and traffic and and a Grand Piano for people to play and the night Road Sweepers clearing the area and the window double glazing let the sounds in. The air conditioning ( we like a cool room) day and night, but the setting can be lowered to suit (18 degrees) but after awhile especially during the night it automatically resets to 23 degrees . That said, we had a very very pleasant stay and the Skybar has spectacular views of the city. It’s fantastic for getting around as right from the front door there ar bikes to hire, metro station over the road and a fully manned Taxi rank 100 meters away

El hotel da la impresión de sucio. Los elevadores no se dan abasto. La gente de recepción no es amable y los botones piden un taxi con una tarifa más elevada. No lo recomiendo.

I was only at the hotel for a single night, but the service I received was spectacular. Friendly and efficient check-in, staff was also quick to offer me a welcome drink. The room was extremely clean and modern, and I had a nice comfortable sleep after a red-eye transatlantic flight followed by an afternoon of exploring Barcelona. For anyone looking to explore Barcelona after checking out, or before being able to check in, they do offer complimentary luggage storage.

Terrible experience, ending up with manager apologising and promising 20% discount - which they never gave. I log 150 nights per year, and I recommend staying away from this hotel.

Everything from the staff to room were excellent.

Die Lage ist absolut perfekt. Vor dem Haus halten die beiden Flughafenbuslinien A1 und A2 und viele Metro-Linien. Gleichzeitig ist man zu Fuß schon direkt in der Innenstadt. Ein Traum war die Rooftop-Bar, in der man nach einem anstrengenden Tag wunderbar entspannen konnte. Das Personal an der Rezeption und in der Lobby war super herzlich und freundlich, hilfsbereit und sympathisch,

Pésimo servicio en la recepción. Desconocimiento total de reservas por hoteles.com, falta de criterio, empatía y profesiomalismo de parte del personal que de recepción. A excepción de dos chicos Fabián (en capacitación) y Salam (Bell voy) quienes fueron quienes nos apoyaron con suma atencion con claves de internet para acceder a la aplicación de Hoteles.com Llegamos con reserva pagada y ellos aseguraban que no. fue todo un suplicio hacerles entender que probablemente había un error, jamás aceptaron nuestra documentación de pago ante Hotele.com

The elevators were really slow and tiny, but location was good. Some of the staff were good; others were unresponsive, such as at the rooftop bar, where five of us waited to put our orders in for one hour. Nobody came, so we left. There were no other customers!

Hotel has an excellent location. Numerous tourist attractions nearby. Dinning options around hotel are excellent. Staff recommended a Spanish restaurant with a flamenco dancer that was amazing. Definitely will return to this hotel in future visits to Barcelona.

This property has a great location. It’s right smack in the center of Plaza Catalunya. Lots of shopping, restaurants and very close to the Metro and La Rambla.

Beautiful hotel, in the middle of the city

The location of the hotel is very central – with rail and bus lines right below the hotel. The plaza Catalunya station is a hub for connecting to different parts of the city. Our hotel room (triple room) was huge and accommodated our family very comfortably. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing. The breakfast buffet has a very extensive variety of both hot made to order dishes. In addition to salads, fruits, the best cappuccino we had in Spain (ask the staff to make you one instead of the machine). Christopher, Sergei, Alessandro and Karol in the dining area were very accommodating and courteous. Salah at check in was helpful regarding getting a taxi or giving us information for areas around the hotel. We will definitely stay at this location anytime we return to Barcelona again. Again, the staff at the hotel was absolutely fantastic.

It is a beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of the city. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, especially since we landed there right in the middle of the F1 racing Fan Fest in the park across the street. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location with walkable areas of restaurants and shopping. Beautiful property. Rooms are updated and we had an awesome view of the city. Fantastic rooftop bar and grill with amazing views of the city. Delicious buffet breakfast.

The hotel was fabulous. Absolutely awesome. The only issue I ever had was at the sky bar. I had waiters/waitresses passed by my table numerous times and no one ever asked if I wanted something to drink or if everything was satisfactory.. not the best recommendation for that venue, but it was beautiful and everything else is five stars

Clean/ pool staff did not look exited to work and the cafeteria hostess was not that friendly. Talked to us like we don’t have money to pay for breakfast. We gave her room number and asked her to charge she insist to sign the bill before we ate

Als Gold-lid kreeg ik een flesje cava en een persoonlijk berichtje, dat is erg geapprecieerd. Het hotel ligt fantastisch aan het centrale Catalunia-plein. De ingang van de parking ligt wel in de zijstraat en je moet even over het fietspad en voetpad rijden (wat je boze blikken van voetgangers bezorgt) en de weg naar beneden in de parking is wat stijl, maar te doen. Het ontbijt is fantastisch, een uitgebreid buffet en nog eitjes en avocado-toast à la carte. De bedden comfortabel en de belichting in de kamer zeer goed, wat zeldzaam is. De lift heeft een raar systeem en je moet soms lang wachten. Ik kon de roofbar niet gebruiken, maar die ziet er gezellig uit met mooi zicht. Een prima hotel, ik kom zeker terug.

First time visiting Barcelona, and this was the perfect location! Close to food and metro stations and all the great attractions! The staff was friendly, the breakfast bar was delicious, and we slept really well on those beds! The rainfall shower was the best experience!
