Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely little hotel on a great street in the heart of Barcelona. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed complimentary coffee on rooftop patio. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy access to Metro. Be aware if you stay on street side you might hear neighborhood noise late into the evening. We will stay here again!

Excellent place but very small and simple! Just keep in mind that there is only one elevator…. And the housekeeping service did not clean our room on our first night. Other than that great staff at the front desk and room neat but very small! Great bed

Ik had een suite met uitzicht op de stad. Zat op de 3e verdieping. Ik keek heel gezellig uit over de de Ramblas de Catalunya waar het tot laat in de avond/nacht leeft door de kilometers lange terrassen. Als je de balkondeur dicht deed hoorde je daar totaal niets meer van. Dus fijn als je even rust wil of wil slapen. Heerlijk bed. Er zijn geen kasten, er hangen 6 klleerhangers aan een systeem aan de muur. Je koffer kun je dus niet helemaal uitpakken. Voor mij geen probleem. Alleen de douche had warmer gemogen, dat heb ik bij uitchecken aangegeven en ze waren blij dat ik het meldde. Op het dakterras kun je gratis koffie en thee halen. Er is op de kamer geen waterkoker of koffiezetapparaat. Verder zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prima tijd gehad bij Mosaic by Ona🙂

This was a last minute hotel, and it was excellent. Particularly enjoyed and used frequently the rooftop Terrace where coffees and teas are accessible about 12 hours each day.

Ok hotel, Italian receptionist lovely and very helpful on restaurants. Hotel has no tea or coffee making facilities and no mini bar. You get one flat awful pillow so ask for 2 each. Asked to borrow 2 wine glasses for our room, not possible. Expensive hotel, breakfast shouldbe included. Hotel is in good location

The staff was very helpful and kind. They never missed an opportunity to greet us. Location was perfect! Walking distance to Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. Also very close to excellent shopping on Passig de Gràcia. Subway station is also not far and then from there, you can go anywhere in the city! Lobby and reception area was very small, but is to be expected in this area. Rooftop space was very nice and fun to watch the city activity from there.

No se quede aqui! Sucio. El 28 de agosto llegamos al hotel después de volar por 9 horas y 5 de aeropuerto, me sorprendió mucho el estado del lobby. El señor trabajando en el front desk nos informó que era temprano y que nuestra habitación no estaba disponible. Dijo podíamos dejar las maletas y pasar al baño, en el 2do piso. El hotel está en muy mal estado, descuidado y sucio. El piso, las escaleras, las puertas , el ascensor, la alfombra manchada, paredes rotas, en fin necesita un equipo de limpieza y mantenimiento eficiente. No podíamos quedarnos a dormir en Mosaic cuando la falta de higiene y el descuido era muy obvia. Por mi experiencia en la industria hospitalaria esto era inaceptable. La reservación la hice por las fotos website. Lo más importante era que el hotel fuera seguro y limpio para descansar y disfrutar mis vacaciones en Barcelona. Me causó un ataque de ansiedad y pánico cuando no sabía donde dormiríamos esa noche. Había hecho la reserva con anticipación como es lo habitual. Le dije al empleado del front desk que no podíamos quedarnos hospedados ahí y el me dijo que tendría que cobrar por la primera noche. No quise causar problemas ni hacer un show porque habían otras personas presentes. Imaginen salimos del Mosaic y empezamos a caminar con maletas sin tener donde hospedarnos el stress que nos causó.

Our overall stay was an average experience and that’s fairly generous. We booked for our anniversary celebration and made sure Expedia told the hotel (and tried contacting them months ahead of time with no response). There was absolutely no acknowledgement of that which was disappointing. Rooms were extremely tiny, pictures are misleading. Rarely greeted by front desk. Rooms were cleaned late or not at all. Just overall average experience and that’s me being generous..

We really liked this hotel, however, the shower drain in room 302 was clogged and the sink was also draining very slowly. We reported this when we arrived as my husband took a shower and the bathroom flooded. Some came and put a chemical down the drain and told us that he will send someone the next day to look at it. The following day the shower drain is still draining super slow and causing water to overflow outside the shower door. I don’t think anyone came to the room to fix it but we were only staying for a 3 nights so we just sucked it up and didn’t bother complain. Having said that, they should really fix the drain in the shower and the sink to prevent future flooding and property damage.

The hotel is in a prime location, but the room facilities really need improvement. We rented three rooms on the first floor, and all of them had serious water leakage issues when showering — the entire bathroom floor would be soaked, which was very uncomfortable. In addition, one of the toilet paper rolls provided had a bad odor, which my friend also noticed.

The stay overall was very poor, especially for the price per night of the hotel. First things I noticed when I checked in to my room were the AC was not cooling and the shower drain was plugged. I left the card in the slot in hopes that maybe it just needed time to cool, but it never did. When I went to the desk ask about it the next day, they said the whole 4th floor is out, as if they knew but never mentioned it. He offered me a standing fan, which I took because it was better than nothing. The room remained very hot, humid, and uncomfortable my whole stay. A lady came to unplug the drain, which water would flow into the room within one minute of starting to shower. She was quick and left; I immediately checked the shower and found that it was still backed up and still flooded the room. So she fixed nothing and left within a couple minutes. The shower lights barely worked and the tv didnt turn on either, just basic stuff that really shouldnt be an issue here. Do not recommend this place, and I wish I didnt spend so much on the room with the terrace.

Dejligt hôtel beliggenhed var helt fantastisk, udsigt over byen, værelset var rent og stort, personalet meget hjælpsomme.. Dog manglede der nogle hylder eller et skab til lidt tøj, men det fungerede alligevel.. Et sted jeg absolut gerne ville bo igen

The location is great! Right around the corner from 2 Gaudi buildings. And tons of restaurant options available right out front. However, the shower flooded into the whole bathroom and the AC does not cool down the room. Staff was hit or miss.

We had a terrible experience, very bad customer service, rooms are very very small. Nothing like the pictures they shown.we're supposed to have bed for three people we had only for two we had a couch there that was very dirty and not set up at all, front desk was not helpful on anything we had to wait hours to get a iron for clothing, remarks of receptionists were very condescending, not a good place at all, you Expedia should take this place out of the system because I think they don't want tourists to be in Barcelona

My room was not cleaned when I arrived at 10.30 pm after a long travel day. As no other rooms were free the front desk clerk told me to deal with it. The next morning they said they would not refund me as I had slept in the room therefore using their service. They also would not reimburse my next two nights if I left as my booking was non refundable. One of the worst experiences at a hotel for this ridiculous price with no managers or contact information for anyone other than the front desk staff. I cannot believe these places get away with this type of behaviour strictly because there is such a high demand for accommodation in these tourist cities.
My room was not cleaned when I arrived at 10.30 pm after a long travel day. As no other rooms were free the front desk clerk told me to deal with it. The next morning they said they would not refund me as I had slept in the room therefore using their service. They also would not reimburse my next two nights if I left as my booking was non refundable. One of the worst experiences at a hotel for this ridiculous price with no managers or contact information for anyone other than the front desk staff. I cannot believe these places get away with this type of behaviour strictly because there is such a high demand for accommodation in these tourist cities.

The staff was very helpful and kind. They never missed an opportunity to greet us. Location was perfect! Walking distance to Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. Also very close to excellent shopping on Passig de Gràcia. Subway station is also not far and then from there, you can go anywhere in the city! Lobby and reception area was very small, but is to be expected in this area. Rooftop space was very nice and fun to watch the city activity from there.

The location is great! Right around the corner from 2 Gaudi buildings. And tons of restaurant options available right out front. However, the shower flooded into the whole bathroom and the AC does not cool down the room. Staff was hit or miss.

On our checkout day, the scheduled taxi company called the hotel to inform us they would be 1/2 hour late. Since we had a mid-day flight to catch this was unacceptable. The hotel desk told us he would find us another taxi & dashed out into the pouring rain to find us another taxi. Within 10 minutes we were in a taxi on our way to the airport.😄 Unfortunately the clerk was soaking wet. Before getting in the taxi, I thanked the clerk for his effort & gave him a good tip. Great service, well beyond his normal obligations. Thanks again!

For a first-time visitor to Barcelona, the Mosaic Hotel was hard to mentally picture due to its small street-level footprint - an old-school beautiful doorway and petite lobby. What a lovely surprise to see that the hotel is perfectly situated on the street, mere feet from terrific patios and elegant shops. I always wonder when booking a hotel as to what atmosphere the lobby/bar area will offer, but in the case of many hotels in Barcelona, the magic is to be found outside, just steps away with literally thousands of options. The Mosaic staff were charming and the room was as delightful as one could ask for. There is a rooftop garden where you can enjoy a coffee or tea and fire up your engine for a day of exploration. I'd happily return to this property and am already missing the view from the balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mosaic by Ona. It’s a well-located city hotel, with plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés within easy walking distance. The location also worked well for our tours—pickup and dropoff were convenient. The room wasn’t hugely spacious but perfectly fine for a family of three on a short holiday. Everything was clean and in working order. We had a small issue with the fridge on our first night, but the 24/7 reception team—especially Diego—were quick to help and got it sorted right away. There’s no restaurant onsite, but that didn’t matter given how many good food options are nearby. Overall, a smooth, pleasant stay. We’d recommend it and would happily return.

They did not honestly reflected on the description nor the price that the rooms where extremely small actually there is not such thing as a separate bathroom,the bathroom is part of room terrible please see the pictures avoid this hotel they offer breakfast and it’s a joke the give a box full of cold and unhealthy food (all processed) and you have to eat it in your room or in a rooftop

We really loved our stay here. It was right in the middle of everything extremely easy to find wonderful restaurants and amazing shops. The staff were all very attentive. And we got more than enough to eat with our breakfast boxes. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great location and great price.

Based on Europe Hotel standards. Room had big double bed with plenty of space for luggage. No closet but hangers and a rack was available to hang a few items. Mini fridge and safe were available. Bathroom was small with large shelf space to place toiletries. Shower water leaked out to main bathroom space. My reservation included breakfast every morning. They deliver to your room and you have option to eat in room or on terrace 6th floor. Bfast included some type of sand which, yogurt , pastries and juice. Was nice way to start your morning. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Area is close to many cafes restaurants and shops. Bring ear plugs for quieter sleep. Barcelona is a night city. Things start late. Very easy to get Ubers or Taxis. Overall good stay for a couple nights in the city.
