Overall a good experience. Rooms clean and modern. The place has a chic feel. They could add deck chairs to the pool area, and at times you could hear noises from the next door guests, meaning walls/glass let noise thru.

I stayed the last full week of March. This hotel is discreet, peaceful and beautiful. From the moment you check in, greeted with smiles and warmth. From the moment the glass door is opened to guide you to the courtyard you realize you are entering serenity and calm. The room was well spaced, I stayed in the king suite which was big enough for one person very comfortably. The grounds are clean and, well kept and serene. The pool area is not big but it is sophisticated. The location is in a power area but so close to Calle 60 and the Paseo without having to deal with any lingering noise. The food, I had breakfast daily, is balanced and beautifully presented. Everything about this place is wonderful but not for those that aren’t looking for peace. If you are looking for loud crowds and rowdy evenings, this is not the place. At least not during the time I was there. I will be going back, it felt like home away from home.

Great location. Walking distance to what you want to see in historical center. Quite place even though the streets of Merida often feel clogged with traffic. The manager spoke excellent English but others were less proficient but still enough so that the conversations went smoothly. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms are close to each other. We heard very well what neighboring room was talking about on the phone. Parking is close by and free. I wish we were informed about this earlier. It simply says “self parking” which I don’t know what it means.

Very pretty boutique hotel. Pool was very clean. Great customer service. Great location 10 min walking to the gastronomy 47 where lots of restaurants are located also walking distance to the Centro of Merida. Hotel block is very quiet nothing right by the hotel which makes it very peaceful not noisy at all you can hear the bird’s chirping instead of people and cars passing bye. The food at the restaurant was very good . Bedroom was very clean as well as the hotel. Would stay here again for sure

Amazing food! The breakfast is unbelievable. The burger will change your life. The staff get it. If Expedia offers breakfast and a $25 food credit. This is a crazy deal. The space is stunning. Quiet and beautiful.

The hotel was simplistically elegant. The room was perfectly outfitted with all travelers needs, beautifully designed and the bedding was luxurious. The breakfast was delectable, generous, and impeccably presented. The small pool is actually the perfect size for a short lap and a cool down. Amazing place! Really look forward to being back there in a couple of days!

Great hotel with nice decor and facilities. Staff were alway available and very helpful. Minibar items were also included which was nice. Great location only a short walk to the main square in Merida.

Comfortable boutique hotel near the center of Merida with free dedicated parking nearby. Very helpful staff and excellent complimentary breakfast with made to order dishes. Very quiet, peaceful vibe with lap pool and ample common sitting areas outside.

The welcoming and cordial staff at all hours made our stay at this hotel! They even offered us a room upgrade at no additonal cost, but we reluctantly declined to have a room right next to the deliciously clean and refreshing pool. The restaurarant was excellent, room and lobby decor was well appointed, and desk staff assisted us with restaurant suggestions and reservations.

Property was well designed and ckean. Staff super friendly and the food was good. Only comment is that there was a coffee maker but no convient place to plug in. As well we found the bathroom very small with limited counter space.

Comfortable small hotel. Great service, best restaurant in town, quiet, good beds and pillows. Air conditioning. A 10 minute walk from Plaza Grande, which we walked to at least once a day. The room that we had (the suite, which is just a large room) had some light coming through the black out shade (maybe they will fix this soon.) Nice pool area. I would definitely stay there again.

El hotel es bonito, situación óptima, el servicio muy atento y las habitaciones son confortables. Sin embargo tienen un grave problema de insonorización y si como a nosotros te tocan a unos vecinos ruidosos en la habitación contigua, la experiencia es muy, muy desgradable. Se escuchan todas las conversaciones y todo lo que ocurre en la habitación de al lado, así como en la zona de la piscina. Las primeras 2 noches casi estábamos solos en el hotel y fue muy bien pero la última y debido a este problema no ha hecho llevarnos muy mal recuerdo de Ya’ax Hotel. Una pena.

Table next to us sat later and received food before us. Took over 15 minutes to get breakfast after our coffe, bread, and tea. Room Decor and room were beautiful!

This is a pretty hotel. We visited in low season and it was very quiet, but it was a good starting point for a number of activities in and outside of Merida. The staff were very kind and made us a packed lunch to take on our various excursions and travel to the next destination.

We had a fantastic stay at Ya’ax Hotel. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the perfect spot. The front desk and service staff were amazing—always helpful and welcoming. I especially loved the pool, which was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The food at the hotel was excellent as well. Plus, the location is great—close to downtown but still feels secluded. Overall, a wonderful experience with warm and friendly staff.

My husband and I stayed here for a week, it was peaceful, quiet, very attentive staff, and beautiful environment. The last night of our stay hurricane Milton was on the way, the city shut down and all stores and businesses were closed. The staff upgraded our room to be closer to reception and supplies in the event of an emergency. The next morning they opened up their kitchen to give us a wonderful breakfast and coffee, when we would have otherwise been out of luck as everything in town was closed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Merida.
My husband and I stayed here for a week, it was peaceful, quiet, very attentive staff, and beautiful environment. The last night of our stay hurricane Milton was on the way, the city shut down and all stores and businesses were closed. The staff upgraded our room to be closer to reception and supplies in the event of an emergency. The next morning they opened up their kitchen to give us a wonderful breakfast and coffee, when we would have otherwise been out of luck as everything in town was closed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Merida.

I stayed the last full week of March. This hotel is discreet, peaceful and beautiful. From the moment you check in, greeted with smiles and warmth. From the moment the glass door is opened to guide you to the courtyard you realize you are entering serenity and calm. The room was well spaced, I stayed in the king suite which was big enough for one person very comfortably. The grounds are clean and, well kept and serene. The pool area is not big but it is sophisticated. The location is in a power area but so close to Calle 60 and the Paseo without having to deal with any lingering noise. The food, I had breakfast daily, is balanced and beautifully presented. Everything about this place is wonderful but not for those that aren’t looking for peace. If you are looking for loud crowds and rowdy evenings, this is not the place. At least not during the time I was there. I will be going back, it felt like home away from home.

This is a pretty hotel. We visited in low season and it was very quiet, but it was a good starting point for a number of activities in and outside of Merida. The staff were very kind and made us a packed lunch to take on our various excursions and travel to the next destination.

Great location. Walking distance to what you want to see in historical center. Quite place even though the streets of Merida often feel clogged with traffic. The manager spoke excellent English but others were less proficient but still enough so that the conversations went smoothly. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms are close to each other. We heard very well what neighboring room was talking about on the phone. Parking is close by and free. I wish we were informed about this earlier. It simply says “self parking” which I don’t know what it means.

We had a fantastic stay at Ya’ax Hotel. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the perfect spot. The front desk and service staff were amazing—always helpful and welcoming. I especially loved the pool, which was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The food at the hotel was excellent as well. Plus, the location is great—close to downtown but still feels secluded. Overall, a wonderful experience with warm and friendly staff.

Very pretty boutique hotel. Pool was very clean. Great customer service. Great location 10 min walking to the gastronomy 47 where lots of restaurants are located also walking distance to the Centro of Merida. Hotel block is very quiet nothing right by the hotel which makes it very peaceful not noisy at all you can hear the bird’s chirping instead of people and cars passing bye. The food at the restaurant was very good . Bedroom was very clean as well as the hotel. Would stay here again for sure

The hotel is located equidistant between Parque Santa Lucia and the Plaza Grande where there is a good selection of restaurants and shopping. Great hotel with nice decor and facilities. Staff were alway available and very helpful. Minibar items were also included which was nice. Great location only a short walk to the main square in Merida.

Great place with the best breakfast in Merida, I did not have 5 stars because the alarm in the room beeped for new batteries and woke me up at 2AM. They came quickly to solve it, yet I had a hard time sleepimg again.

The restaurant in the hotel was incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to any request we had. The room was decorated nicely, and the grounds of the hotel common area were beautiful.

Excelente lugar para quedarse en Mérida, la atención es muy buena y se come muy rico, el chef cocina delicioso, vale la espera de los platillos. Súper tranquilo y las habitaciones bonitas. Solo un detalle con la puerta del baño por que era muy incómoda.

The hotel was simplistically elegant. The room was perfectly outfitted with all travelers needs, beautifully designed and the bedding was luxurious. The breakfast was delectable, generous, and impeccably presented. The small pool is actually the perfect size for a short lap and a cool down. Amazing place! Really look forward to being back there in a couple of days!

This is a lovely property and the pool felt great in the heat. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Contrary to the hotels.com profile, there is no complimentary continental breakfast. There is an american or a la carte breakfast for cost. Parking is off-site. The street feels a little sketchy at night, for solo travelers.

The communal areas are great but the rooms are tired and cramped. There’s not enough water pressure to wash your hair. There are robes in the wardrobe which isn’t easily accessible as a chair blocks. The robe has someone else’s possessions in the pocket so it hadn’t been washed. Overall it’s ok but the rooms need an upgrade.
