Beautiful hotel lobby and dining. Roof top bar a plus. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable room, shower great. Friendly and helpful staff to me as an English speaker. Excellent location across from the park, and near outside restaurants and convenience store. Taxis nearby.

We loved the ground floor patio, the beautiful lobby and working area, and especially the roof-top area for seating with an outdoor bar. The only thing we wish it had was a swimming pool.

One of the more reasonable priced hotels I found that is walking distance to the popular areas. The room is small but very clean. The rooftop bar was a huge plus, we went up there each night and grabbed a drink before heading out. Plenty of room to sit and drinks were not expensive at all as well. I’d recommend this hotel.

They have a rooftop terrace but it's only open 11am-9pm. So you can't see the sunrise or sunset from it nor the city lights at night. There is no complimentary coffee and when you go down to order from the bar they can't add it to your room. It was very inconvenient to have to go up to my room again to get money.

The hotel was way better than expected. Everything was clean and new and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. Our bed was comfortable the room was clean. We had a view of the park and the windows kept the sound of the street out completely.

The staff at check-in was nice. The room was much smaller than the pics. There were only two bath towels. No washcloth. We had a glass from the coffee bar in our room the entire time. The room was cleaned but the cleaning person never took it. It was empty. There was blonde hair on the bathroom walls. I am a bald girly and my friend has black hair that was is braids so it wasn’t ours. And one on my towel. The bed is actually two twin beds pushed together. I asked for two beds and they said this is all they had. There was no pool. The location was great. The breakfast was fine.

Beautifully cool indoors - much appreciated air conditioning as very warm in Barcelona during our stay. Exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel, including our en-suite bathroom. Very helpful staff when I forgot the roo safe’s code when retrieving our passports! Minor detail - would have appreciated a small fridge in the room to keep water cool

I'm not sure why this place has such great reviews. I've stayed at many hotels in Barcelona and this one is nothing special. The room is small with none of the basic amenities - no coffee maker, no mini fridge, no closet, no phone. there is a small safe. I had an interior room which means my window looked right into the elevator lobby. The location is okay, but not as convenient as staying in the Barri Gòtic. A good walk to Plaça de Catalunya and the beach. I wouldn't consider staying here again.

Cute decorated room. Comfortable bed and very clean. I appreciated the very dark curtains and external shutters to make it easier to sleep in. The negatives are that the room was very small and with very poor storage options. 2 small shelves to unpack stuff on. Zero drawers. We really really missed having a little refrigerator and coffee maker. We will definitely check descriptions more carefully to make sure future hotels have those 2 amenities.

For $300 a night the room was the size of a postage stamp. Our flight got us in at 9 am and couldnt get into room till 3 pm. We waited all day. At 2 pm we sat in the lobby waiting on them to tell us our room was ready. They never did. At 2:30 i noticed all the people coming in were getting their rooms. They knew we were waiting but never said a thing. We were sitting right in front of the reservation desk and had asked if they would have a room before 3. I was disappointed in their customer service.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The elevator had a persistent foul smell, and the receptionist was not only unhelpful but also quite arrogant. For the price per night, the overall offering (especially the room) did not match expectations. The bar had minimal service, and overall guest service was lacking. The only positive was the central location, but beyond that, the experience did not justify the cost.

Our stay was amazing! Our flight was early and we requested if we can check in early. They made us check in as soon as they had rooms. Two hours earlier than their regular check in time. Staff was also very accommodating!

Motel one is all about the design and the detail. Rooms are basic but the bar and breakfast area is beautiful and there’s a lovely rooftop terrace with great views of the city. All of the staff I dealt with were great( only issue is check in was very slow so maybe more staff are needed, there were long queues everyday) special mention to the bartender ( from argentina didn’t catch his name) made excellent cocktails and a really nice guy.

Beautiful hotel - fun decorating style. Great location to walk most places and handy to transport. Rooftop patio visit is a must - so relaxing and gorgeous views. Great staff at front desk helped us with recommendations and reservations - helped make our time exploring Barcelona unforgettable !! Highly recommend ! I will visit again!

The hotel is in a great location, really next to Arc Triumph and in front of citadella park. The room was small but clean and great! Everyone working at the hotel is super polite and we really enjoyed it. As a plus, they have a nice rooftop where you can see the park + the ocean.

Flott med parc de la cituadella over gata. Kort vei til Arc de Triomf ca 5 min og port vell ( havna) med flere restauranter. 3 spisesteder innenfor 100m fra hotellet. Taxi holdeplass utenfor. Litt langt å gå fra placa de catalunya med kofferter ca 18 min. Buss A1/2 fra flyplassen ( endestasjon) .

I love the locat of those property. It is close to metro and bus stops but completely walkable to park, major attractions and the beach. The room was clean and the hold staff was very friendly. My only negative was the bed, it was very uncomfortable. I will always look for a Motel One in any locations before booking anywhere else.

Really nice hotel. Very clean and in an excellent location, one of my favourite parts of Barcelona! Our particular room was very small but was spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help us. The rooftop bar is a perfect addition to the hotel, although it would have been better if it was open past 9pm so that you can see the city all lit up in the dark. All in all a lovely hotel and would recommend and definitely stay there again.

Bel établissement, espace communs appréciables avec un beau bar somme tout assez cher. Le temps des amuses bouche servis avec les boissons n’est pas révolu en Espagne sauf au motel one, faut payer ses chips. Petit déjeuner suffisant, pas de jus d’orange pressé dommage. Chambre impeccable et confortable mais petite. Nettoyage perfectible. Le plus un vaste garage au coût mesuré. Roof top sympa mais fermeture à 20 heures, why ? Un mot pour le personnel, très serviable, merci.

I loved this hotel because it was really clean, super friendly and helpful staff, and best of all its location. I also love that this was a chain hotel with many locations throughout Europe. Lots of wonderful amenities like organic breakfast and really fun bar with a Gin-O-Clock theme.
