Hotel reformado de estilo clásico, pequeño pero con todo lo básico para tener una buena estancia. Cuenta con garaje para 10 coches aproximadamente (rampa con pendiente que puede rozar los coches muy bajos), pequeña piscina y gimnasio cubierto, sauna y baño turco de uso gratuito para los clientes del hotel. Aparcamiento por fuera, en la acera del hotel gratuito y de pago de 8h a 19h en la de enfrente. Buen desayuno buffet, tranquilo con pocas habitaciones por planta. A escasa distancia de la universidad de Coimbra y a partir de ahí, empezar a descender para ver el resto de la ciudad. Recomendable.

4 Sterne? Ich hab schon in weitaus besseren 2 Sterne Häusern geschlafen. Es passt nichts wirklich zusammen. Ein komplett neues Bad, dass sich ohne Türe im Zimmer befindet (wenn man nicht gerade auf Honeymoon) ist eher ungünstig wenn man von der Toilette oder der Dusche direkt im Zimmer steht. Das personal an der Rezeption war bedauerlicherweise dem englischen nicht mächtig, was eine Kommunikation erheblich erschwerte. Zudem wurden uns nach einem Tag zwar die alten Handtücher genommen, aber wir haben keine neuen bekommen. An der Rezeption war leider niemand erreichbar (um 21:00 Uhr!). Beim Frühstück war von den Angestellten noch nicht mal ein bin dua zu hören obwohl wir mehrfach gegrüßt hatten ( hier war wohl das Handy wichtiger) . Ergebnis: nicht zu empfehlen.

This is an older property, renovated and in excellent condition. My room had a dormer window that looked out over the hills and the rooftops of the city. The furnishings, lamps, rugs and artwork were beautiful. The bathroom was updated with exceptionally good design and function. This was Portuguese elegance at it most charming.

Yes, its a noisy student area, but windows are good at cancelling. Downsides - our internet over the 5 days had poor connection on all devices (laptop, ipad, phone). My concerns about this were not really solved by the staff. The absence of a kettle to boil water is something we come to anticipate in southern europe, but still, is a bit annoying if want a tea or coffee. Overall, solid 4 star stay, but could imagine internet is a real issue for others with more pressing need.

The hotel was renovated, and there was a very pretty tile. It was in very good shape. Although the room is a little small, it was fine for my husband and myself we would stay there again if we ever are in Coimbra.

I had it down as noisy all night, but then I remembered this is a college neighborhood and it was Saturday night. The staff here is great and always glad to help. It seemed like an out of the way place for a 4 star.
