We loved this place. Mary (spelled English but pronounced French) is delightful. The property is her house and has only a very few rooms available. But our room was much larger than anywhere else we have stayed, had a larger bathroom than most places, and even had a shared kitchen. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, but there are cafes around the corner, and everything in Amboise is just across the bridge.

Mary was wonderful. She allowed us to check in a little bit later to accommodate us for a longer than expected travel time to Amboise. The villa is so cute and charming. The room was spacious and there was a little kitchenette to drink coffee and have treats in the morning. Convenient location with easy parking in the area. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This property was excellent. Room was large and very comfortable. Bathroom lovely. There is a small kitchen that is used for house guests. Very nice with coffee and tea available Walking distance to town. Beautiful area. Mary was kind and answered any questions that we might’ve had.

The room was clean and comfortable and Mary was friendly and helpful. It is a short walk across the bridge to the downtown area with all the shops and restaurants. I had no problem finding street parking but the streets are very narrow.

Room was nice but, if you do not like perfume smells you will not like it. Allergies/sinuses had issues. Clean but, why so many scents. Parking was on very narrow streets, did not feel comfortable leaving car around corner from Villa. Wished it would have included some form of food for breakfast, looking for food the night before was very limited.

Mary is wonderful. After notifying her we arrived early and checked right in. The room was very clean and the bath was modern and clean. Only two rooms to this little hotel. Would stay here again without a doubt. Parking could be a concern but it worked out great. Easy walk to restaurants. Very cool little place!

Such a beautiful inn! So clean and cozy with a big comfortable bed, great shower, and big window. Grapevines, wisteria and flowers adorn the back side. There's a perfect little kitchenette for guests to use which was very helpful. Mary was so kind, a gracious host. Villa Mary was the best accommodation so far of our 5-week trip!

We had a wonderful stay in the lovely town of Amboise. Mary was the perfect hostess! The entire upstairs composed of two rooms and a kitchenette was all ours for three days. Free parking on the street outside the villa was convenient. And a short walk into the town was a bonus.

Our hostess Mary could not have been more helpful. Although the kitchen is shared we had it to ourselves for 2 days and so had an ‘extra’ room to use. The property is within easy walking distance of the old town and there are many places for breakfast or more substantial meals nearby (some literally round the corner). We found a parking space nearby but that did not seem guaranteed. We would recommend this place to stay warmly.

Villa Mary was a lovely place to stay, It was well approximated to the Loire river, chateaux and many restaurants, all within walking distance.Mary was so welcoming and a delight to interact with when we ran into her. We easily found parking right in front of her place.

Excellent property. It is close to everything. I selected it because of the proximity to the old city and the train station. It exeeded my expectations. We were greeted in person, the communication was perfect. Nothing more to wish for.
