A beautifully kept hotel in a great location. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were large with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection with good seating. The pool area is a good size with no issues with getting a bed during our stay as people didn’t tend to stay there all day. The beach is 2 mins walk over the road. We liked this end of Karon closer to Kata. Plenty of great restaurant options. There is a nice gym facility with yoga and exercise classes available too. A great stay.

Beautiful room and hotel and overall we had a lovely stay. Negatives were that it felt understaffed as It was difficult to get any service at the pool other than swim up and breakfast was chaotic and the food although very tasty was always cold. With improvements this would be excellent.

Our time at the Avisha Hotel was fantastic. On arrival we were treated to lovely display in our room and a cake to celebrate our honeymoon. Check in was easy and straightforward. The property was lovely. Our room was immaculate. The poolside is wonderful however would have been great to have a jacuzzi as there isn’t one. Staff at the main desk and housekeeping was great. I would say that the service at the poolside is very slow. Took a long time for someone to take our drinks orders and pool lacked atmosphere. Feels like an entertainment team might help for weekends to create an atmosphere. The beach across the road has great service and food options and we preferred going there over the poolside in the hotel. The location for the hotel was perfect for us. Quiet yet close enough to the more lively area of Patong. We loved that we could come back to the tranquility of the hotel after going out during the day. Breakfast is great with lots of options. Would recommend booking excursions via the hotel as we didn’t and we didn’t really get the best experience as a result. Altogether a great stay.

Outstanding service. Phenomenal breakfast and food. Loved the pool and swim up bar. We were so thrilled with our sea view room (4th floor) as the views of the sunset were breathtaking and we could also watch the fire shows at the restaurant and see the pool. Really comfortable and spacious room and patio. The hotel staff put on a wonderful Christmas party in the lobby - with a visit from Santa, games for kids, a children’s choir, and appetizers for adults. It was amazing. So many additional beautiful touches, like a delicious stollen placed in our room and Christmas cookies for the kids. This trip was pure luxury and indulgence. Such lovely staff. We will definitely be back one day.

Very chill stay. Room was in perfect condition, clean and well maintained. Great balcony seating and view. Walk to beach easy and quick, but not the most pleasant. Had spa massage very good, and breakfast was delicious. Half/full board was convenient with continuously open kitchen.

AVista grande is in a great central location it’s not a huge property but it offers a lot, the pool is great and the rooftop bar is fantastic As is chard restaurant on the property. We also stayed at the surin which is fantastic and service was incredible so we had high standards but there is nothing around it, no shops and not much to do, AVista grande has great shops and bars very near by so you need to weigh up hotel resort v’s location !

hands down one of the best hotels i’ve ever stayed at! amazingly helpful staff and stunning design at the hotel. restaurants on site were incredible and lots of options for drinks. the pool and fitness room were also very well done. would definitely not recommend visiting phuket but if you must, then don’t stay anywhere other than avista grande!

Overall the property was great. We had a family room with a mountain view and we liked being on the quiet side of the building. Our only complaint was that guest were able to reserve pool loungers by leaving their towel on the chair making it difficult to get a chair even when the pool was not very busy.

Overall the stay was ok but we found the food menu offer for half-board quite limited, after suffer food posining eating outside the hotel the food in the hotel is quite limited with no fish or meat offer apart from chicken. If you are happy to pay extra then yes you can get options, the drinks were quite priced as well for what we are use too. Another problem is the sun beds, there is quite a mini war to get a pair when you look for it, good luck on the hunt...

What a spectacular stay. The hotel staff are incredible and cannot do enough for you. The room was great, lots of space, clean and comfortable. The pool areas cpuld be bigger with more sun beds but not the end of the world as we were out exploring most days. Would definitely return. The break was great as was the dining options.

The property could do with an upgrade, the bathrooms seem dated and have a smell, the headboard on our bed had a musky scent as well. The location is excellent and the beach is 2 mins walking distance, it’s a really nice calm beach with clear waters. Also the hotel Lobby and hallways doesn’t have any ac and it’s really hot!!! There’s only one elevator which takes forever to get up to the room and it’s small with no ac. The pool is really nice however and we enjoyed the swim up bar a lot. The area is really lovely and convenient.

For a 5-star hotel, needs some work. The rooms are bit dated but clean and there’s an unpleasant sewage smell from the toilets. Breakfast was decent with fresh juice options, but could be better for this level. The location offers a short walk to the beach, but unfortunately you pass through a very smelly garbage area. Not ideal for families with young children. Staff generally performed well, though the hotel was very busy during my stay. I had to ask multiple times to get my room made up on one occasion, which was disappointing. Despite these issues, I’d say this was still one of the best options in the Karon Beach area. There were excellent aspects to the stay that I’m taking for granted at this price point, but the hotel needs to address maintenance and consistency issues to truly earn its 5-star rating

Staff are friendly and nice. Breakfast options were great but we had to wait up to 30 minutes to be seated when we arrived within the last hour. It was also quite loud and felt very crowded. The sunbed situation at the pool was really disappointing. Not enough sunbeds for amount of people. In addition at least half of them had no cushion and it wasn’t comfortable at all. Rooms were cleaned with a broom but not once mopped in the two weeks we were there.

Beautiful beach very close by. It was only a one minute walk. Good dining options nearby, which was helpful because the food at the hotel was mid and over priced. All the hotels in the area seem a bit run down, so this is probably your best bet… although the walls could use some mold treatment.

Läget är toppen! Nära till restauranger och shopping, gångavstånd till både Karon och Kata beach samt lätt att ta en tuk tuk eller taxi till andra ställen. Personalen med SinDee i spetsen var fantastiska! TACK! Bra frukost men du kan inte sitta utomhus utan inne med kall AC… Poolen för kall för min smak och aldrig några solstolar lediga direkt vid poolen. Folk lade handdukar och paxade dem från tidig morgon. De nedersta våningarna är fuktiga och luktar mögel men högre upp var det mycket bättre och utsikten magisk, såg solnedgången från balkongen varje kväll. Är överlag mycket nöjd!

Vår vistelse på hotellet var tyvärr en stor besvikelse. Rummet var smutsigt vid ankomst och städningen fungerade inte alls som den skulle. En dag kom städerskorna inte trots att vi specifikt hade bett om att få rummet städat. Dessutom var badrocken på rummet uppenbart använd – det låg både hår och en hårsnodd i fickan, vilket kändes väldigt ofräscht och oacceptabelt. Poolen var också under all kritik och mycket smutsig, vilket gjorde att man inte ens ville använda den. Det enda positiva med vistelsen var maten, som höll mycket hög klass. I övrigt var upplevelsen tyvärr rent ut sagt dålig och levde inte alls upp till förväntningarna.

Near the beach. Beautiful pool and a quiet location. Out of 4 nights, our room wasn't cleaned one day and 2 of the other 3, housekeeping took our towels and did leave fresh ones. The staff, like most Thais were friendly and helpful.

A beautifully kept hotel in a great location. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were large with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection with good seating. The pool area is a good size with no issues with getting a bed during our stay as people didn’t tend to stay there all day. The beach is 2 mins walk over the road. We liked this end of Karon closer to Kata. Plenty of great restaurant options. There is a nice gym facility with yoga and exercise classes available too. A great stay.

Well designed, nice balcony, amazing bathtub and room overall had me pleased to stay. The staff was very kind, hospitable and professional, I appreciated that a lot. Cons: the water in my room was barely warm which made it actually impossible to enjoy the bathtub and had me finishing shower asap. I wish they paid more attention to refilling the bottles with shower gel, shampoos, soaps and hair conditioner. Towels were quite old and some of them had holes. The TV mostly had news channels, I wish I could chill with a movie after a day of surfing though. WiFi was very bad sometimes, couldn’t watch YouTube.

The property could do with an upgrade, the bathrooms seem dated and have a smell, the headboard on our bed had a musky scent as well. The location is excellent and the beach is 2 mins walking distance, it’s a really nice calm beach with clear waters. Also the hotel Lobby and hallways doesn’t have any ac and it’s really hot!!! There’s only one elevator which takes forever to get up to the room and it’s small with no ac. The pool is really nice however and we enjoyed the swim up bar a lot. The area is really lovely and convenient.

We were so thrilled with our sea view room (4th floor) as the views of the sunset were breathtaking and we could also watch the fire shows at the restaurant and see the pool. Really comfortable and spacious room and patio. The hotel staff put on a wonderful Christmas party in the lobby - with a visit from Santa, games for kids, a children’s choir, and appetizers for adults. It was amazing. So many additional beautiful touches, like a delicious stollen placed in our room and Christmas cookies for the kids. This trip was pure luxury and indulgence. Such lovely staff. We will definitely be back one day.

We had an amazing stay at Avista Grande. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a very nice and calm check-in. The hotel has a very good location between Karon en Kata. Both locations are within walkable distance, the beach is just down from the hotel. We had room 2410, which is facing the mountains and you have the morning sun. This means that in the afternoon and evening you can actually sit outside on the very nice balcony and not get burned away in the sun. Great beds, a bit too firm for our liking, but this was quickly fixed by requesting a matress topping. The hotel also provides a pillow menu if you require a specific type of pillow. The housekeeping and all the other staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. We want name Matt specifically for all his wonderful tips for places to visit and to do. He and his team really made us feel very welcome and made our stay a really fantastic vacation! The hotel has a very nice and big pool area and provides very nice big fluffy pool towels. There are sufficient beds around the pool area, they also have a good system in place where people cannot claim a bed for the full day by throwing a towel on it (a personal pet peeve of mine). In the pool is a very good bar. Also on the premises are 2 restaurants and a rooftop bar. We have eaten at Portosino, They have very nice food, good ambience and great service. The rooftop bar provides a great view of the sunset!

I spent 17 days in this beautiful and cosy hotel. It was the best stay in Phuket I have ever had. It is so client oriented, so friendly staff at super location. The rooms are very big, well cleaned every day, white towels, and a big pool area. The only thing I can complain about pricy food at pool area. No wifi access unless you are willing to join their "club". No restaurant or spa menus in the room (and also not listed on their wesbite), so we only tried one of the restaurants once on the first night we arrived (The dish was well below average). Breakfast was good and the service staff excellent. Beware of the bell service staff as they are untrustworthy, they organised a "taxi" to Patong for us for 500thb. It sounded excessive and I questioned them about it. I was right, we were picked up in a car that was NOT a taxi and we were indeed ripped off as we discovered on the trip back in a different taxi. Overall the stay was not a pleasant one, we were just a number used for profit, never again.

Got there and pur room was not ready and had problem. We had to wait longer time. And lobby guy Mon was not kind of a sweet person to work in a lobby, didn't smile but speak like a robot. Room door had problem all the time with opening with card. Had to try several times to open it up. otherwise all rest were so perfect, well relaxed, well cleaned. great breakfast and others were all sweet and kind.

El hotel está muy bien (instalaciones, limpieza, etc.) y el restaurante también. El acceso queda un poco oculto y, para lo grande que es el resort, no se ve fácilmente. Como aspectos negativos, tuvimos un problema con el check-in por un simple error en una letra en los apellidos de la reserva; debido a eso no nos dieron las habitaciones hasta al cabo de 1 hora excusándose en la política de la cadena. Great team look after you and breakfast has everything you could want. Even room cleaning is efficient and friendly. Great location next to beach and bus stop to Rawai, Airport and Phuket Town. Perfection!

AVista grande is in a great central location it’s not a huge property but it offers a lot, the pool is great and the rooftop bar is fantastic As is chard restaurant on the property. We also stayed at the surin which is fantastic and service was incredible so we had high standards but there is nothing around it, no shops and not much to do, AVista grande has great shops and bars very near by so you need to weigh up hotel resort v’s location !

The Avista Grande is the perfect honeymoon hotel for Karon Beach. Very secluded from the main road which gives for a perfect pool and balcony experience. Extremely close to the beach which is 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. Kat-Karon market provides dozens of food spots that are really close to site. Hotel staff was extremely accommodating with a perfect pool/spa experience. Definitely would recommend to others traveling to the area.

For the price point hotel was great. Pool area/deck restaurant and breakfast were the highlights. Modern and clean, staff courteous and allowed late checkout considering we also checked in later. Stunning hotel right next to Karon beach and walking distance to Kata beach with a delicious breakfast. Clean and stylish rooms. Excellent staff went above and beyond. Location is great as lots of restaurants and a night market very close by. Hotel is perfectly facing the sea such that the sun sets directly opposite it / excellent views.

The hotel staff put on a wonderful Christmas party in the lobby - with a visit from Santa, games for kids, a children’s choir, and appetizers for adults. It was amazing. So many additional beautiful touches, like a delicious stollen placed in our room and Christmas cookies for the kids. This trip was pure luxury and indulgence. Such lovely staff. We will definitely be back one day.

Beautiful beach very close by. It was only a one minute walk. Good dining options nearby, which was helpful because the food at the hotel was mid and over priced. All the hotels in the area seem a bit run down, so this is probably your best bet… although the walls could use some mold treatment.

Overall the stay was ok but we found the food menu offer for half-board quite limited, after suffer food posining eating outside the hotel the food in the hotel is quite limited with no fish or meat offer apart from chicken. If you are happy to pay extra then yes you can get options, the drinks were quite priced as well for what we are use too. Another problem is the sun beds, there is quite a mini war to get a pair when you look for it, good luck on the hunt...

The food and drink were quite pricey. Almost $12 CDN for a beer, when down the road it’s $6. If the pool and bar pricing was even a bit cheaper then we would have spent much more time there. Beautiful resort though.

Nice and clean hotel. We had a moisture problem in the room and they solved it immediately. Very responsive and quick service. The half board selection is not quite good though. You eat from the same menu every single night which becomes boring after some time. I would prefer some sort of credit so that we can go to different restaurants and eat from different menus. If you can eat outside, I would go for only breakfast included option. Pool is big and clean, Very good spa and massage options. Although it is 2 min walking distance, Hotel does not have beach front access. Great beach though. I would definitely go again to this Hotel.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are friendly. The rooms big. The location perfect, as you escape the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but are close enough to what ever you need. My only issue with this hotel is that, while they charge extra for drinks you can get for half the price on the street. (That parts ok) they then charge a service fee on top of this. Everything else is perfect for a great holiday

The property is lovely and the rooms and infinite pool are excellent. The downside is the rates for dining, drinks and even happy hour which are all inconsistent with the local economy and value. I felt on occasion at the bar and in the restaurant there was a money grab. This was extremely disappointing as everything else was superb.

Great breakfast, amazing pool area and a good selection of food throughout the day. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a large balcony. The location is excellent walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shops, and other businesses, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Special thank you to Khai at the Bar and Sindee at the front office!
