Great choice of place to stay. People very friendly, place clean, comfortable and well located. Certainly worth the money and would definitely stay again. Excellent location for a trip to the Kildare Village, with off street parking. The pub was great for evening meal and drinks, again frendly and pleasant staff i would definitely recommend.

Loved everything about our stay at Cunninghams except for one thing. We could not get WiFi in our rooms. We had 3 rooms in our party and no one could connect. It was easy to get in the pub adjacent to our rooms, but it didn’t make it to the actual rooms. It was a bit of an inconvenience as we were trying to plan our next night’s accommodation but couldn’t. The rooms themselves were very clean and large. Very comfy beds and a great shower. One annoying thing for my husband was an intermittent sound in our room. I slept through it, but it got to him. It sounded like perhaps a water heater or something turning on every 1-2 minutes or so. Otherwise, the area was quiet. We parked easily and were able to walk around town. Dinner at Cunninghams pub was great with phenomenal service from Phillip. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast at the pub across the street. All in all, loved our stay at Cunninghams. If they could fix the WiFi signal, I would give it 5 stars.

We stayed here while doing a road trip on our last night in Ireland. Its location is great if you have a car and are driving to the airport the next day and don’t want to stay in Dublin. Parking is around back, where the spacious, almost apartment style, clean and quiet rooms are. The parking is just a bit difficult to find if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Otherwise, check in at the pub was easy, they walked us to our room. The pub and restaurant are also a convenient place to watch some rugby & enjoy some conversation with the friendly locals while having dinner and a pint of your favorite beverage. We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff and very good food and drinks. Prior to arrival I emailed about disabled parking but didn't get a response. The rooms are not above the bar but down a side lane (where there was parking) but we had been allocated a first floor room.

Nice comfortable room in a retro style. Large TV with digital streaming apps such as Netflix etc. Just a few steps from the bus stops to/from Dublin Airport. Added bonus, at the end of the corridor there was a door through to a very nice external Chinese Restaurant.

Rommet var stort og fint. Alt var rent og ordentlig. Men det luktet ikke godt på rommet. Det kom en grusom lukt fra badet, og det ble verre og verre utover kvelden. Det var helt fryktelig å bruke badet på kveld og natt. Lukten må komme fra et kjøkken, for det luktet en blanding av avfall, gammel hvitløk og råttent. Det var en helt forferdelig lukt, som ikke kan aksepteres.

Nice big room, warm, nice touch with the coffee machine and biscuits. Had to keep shower on full power otherwise the shower head slid towards the tiles. Carpet abit stained but everything else was spotless. Bar staff friendly and we good night sleep.

The rooms are neat, clean and well decorated, mostly up to date despite being in an old building. Beds are very comfortable. The only drawbacks were the lack of anything to refridgerate food and some problems with the hot water in the showers. The staff at Cunninghams are very friendly and welcoming to Americans. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Interesting room above a pub. Room was nice, fairly spacious, centrally located. No mini fridge and some of the lights didn't seem to work. Nice furniture and comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The absence of any contact info before 4 p.m. is problematic for travelers who arrive in town early in the day. Many hotels offer luggage storage in those situations -- but here, no one to be found or contacted.

The room was finished with idyllic furnishings blended with that older European charm, it was spacious. The bath/washroom was updated to accommodate first world expectations & very clean. The bed was comfortable. Bedding crisp. I Iove the little alcove window seat and the Beautiful geraniums outside the window, which opened up to allow the fresh morning air in. Drapery was lovely and darkened the room very well at night. There is no air conditioning but it did have a fan to keep the air moving. In the evening however on a weekend if you were looking for peace and quiet you're not going to find that, as the bar is right below the room I was in & it faced the street. Location was good and accessible to walking distance of other places. Staff were amazing very friendly and accommodating Over all quite pleased.

The rooms are lovely and the area is really nice would definitely stay again. Couldnt figure out how to get hot water in the shower. Twice people were giving a card to our rooms by mistake and we had to tell them to go back downstairs and explain the mistake so key card distribution needs to be worked on.

Room was fantastic. Bright and spacious. Bar staff were super friendly. From check in to check out. Even the cleaning manager was amazing. She allowed us to store luggage after check out until we had to travel home. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I loved everything about this property, it is so friendly and welcoming, wonderful staff, the bed is huge and so comfy, the linen is divine. Location, location,location. Wonderful atmospheric restaurant with wonderful waiters, also a great pub with good food, possibly my most favourite place to stay

The Cunningham's is a wonderful place to stay, located in centre of Kildare. There is a fabulous restaurant and a lively bar. The rooms are located at the rear and are very quiet and comfortable.

Great choice of place to stay. People very friendly, place clean, comfortable and well located. Certainly worth the money and would definitely stay again. Excellent location for a trip to the Kildare Village, with off street parking. The pub was great for evening meal and drinks, again frendly and pleasant staff i would definitely recommend.

Personeel vriendelijk, kamer prima, helaas slecht matras waardoor je de hele nacht in een kuil ligt, om de 10 minuten een zoemend geluid, rookmelderlicht brandt de hele nacht boven het bed, ventilatie in badkamer ontbreekt, kamer is bereikbaar via een slecht verlichte steeg dat geeft een onveilig gevoel waardoor je ook niet met een geopend raam durft te slapen terwijl het best benauwd was in de kamer.

We stayed here while doing a road trip on our last night in Ireland. Its location is great if you have a car and are driving to the airport the next day and don’t want to stay in Dublin. Parking is around back, where the spacious, almost apartment style, clean and quiet rooms are. The parking is just a bit difficult to find if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Otherwise, check in at the pub was easy, they walked us to our room. The pub and restaurant are also a convenient place to watch some rugby & enjoy some conversation with the friendly locals while having dinner and a pint of your favorite beverage. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was finished with idyllic furnishings blended with that older European charm, it was spacious. The bath/washroom was updated to accommodate first world expectations & very clean. The bed was comfortable. Bedding crisp. I Iove the little alcove window seat and the Beautiful geraniums outside the window, which opened up to allow the fresh morning air in. Drapery was lovely and darkened the room very well at night. There is no air conditioning but it did have a fan to keep the air moving. In the evening however on a weekend if you were looking for peace and quiet you're not going to find that, as the bar is right below the room I was in & it faced the street. Location was good and accessible to walking distance of other places. Staff were amazing very friendly and accommodating Over all quite pleased.

Loved everything about our stay at Cunninghams except for one thing. We could not get WiFi in our rooms. We had 3 rooms in our party and no one could connect. It was easy to get in the pub adjacent to our rooms, but it didn’t make it to the actual rooms. It was a bit of an inconvenience as we were trying to plan our next night’s accommodation but couldn’t. The rooms themselves were very clean and large. Very comfy beds and a great shower. One annoying thing for my husband was an intermittent sound in our room. I slept through it, but it got to him. It sounded like perhaps a water heater or something turning on every 1-2 minutes or so. Otherwise, the area was quiet. We parked easily and were able to walk around town. Dinner at Cunninghams pub was great with phenomenal service from Phillip. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast at the pub across the street. All in all, loved our stay at Cunninghams. If they could fix the WiFi signal, I would give it 5 stars.

I always enjoy staying here! Nicely decorated rooms, smart tv, coffee machine with pods. Fantastic traditional bar downstairs that always gets busy. Does great food too.

Very comfortable stay in a quiet back room at the Cunningham's. We were dropped off early and were given permission to leave our luggage by the kind people at the Silken Thomas restaurant and bar (highly recommended) across the street until we could check in. Staff member Fia walked over to help us take our luggage to the room. Only stayed one night but highly recommend a room here - close to shopping, restaurants, bars...& the Abbey.
