Neptune Diving Resort Moalboal

The hotel is part of the dive lodge, nice rooms well suited for two people. Good AC and hot water as well. If you are into scuba diving this is for you. 20 steps to the dive shop and you safely secured gear and the shop has direct water access for either shore dives or to the dive boat. Dive guides were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant served really nice food at a good price. You can’t take a car all the way to the dive lodge so get a tuk tuk in or get dropped off at the big corner and walk the last 100m

I mean for the price you pay in the Philippines you don’t get a whole lot. It might partially be due to locale and the isolation. For reference my room which was on the bottom floor, was always wet. Like the sheets were damp even after 2 days there and the air conditioning on to dehumidify the place. My book that I brought along, the pages were damp after two days there. There was literally condensation dripping from the ceiling when I first came. And at night since you’re so close to a bar you hear loud music all night long. Lighting was poor, facilities dated. It was clean but honestly that’s the most I can say.

They supply earplugs. This is good for light sleepers. There is a yard with at least 20 roosters close to the back of the property. They start long before sunrise and go into the night. There are also 3 different locals nearby doing very loud karaoke and you can hear them all at the same time. Filipinos LOVE their karaoke. Otherwise, everything about this place is perfect. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Beachfront Great central location. Opposite a late night bar so music and chickens can be heard. Construction rubble and noise in Dec 2024 so that was annoying as no mention when hotel was booked
